Rajveer-Naina - Journey to Point 1857

This short story will take place after episode 198 of Left Right Left, when Naina asks Rajveer to take her to Point 1857.

Some things and dialogues will be similar in the beginning, but things will change later on. I will keep some of the original dialogues as I love the original scene of Point 1857!

Chapter 1

Sitting in front of the mirror, Naina looks at herself carefully and examines herself. She is wearing a white chooridaar along with matching earrings and white beautiful bangles that complements her outfit. Her hair are left loose at her back. Smiling, shyly, Naina cascades her eyes downwards. Just the thought of going with her Rajveer sir makes her to blush. Although she does not know why she feels so special right now, she is just going to Point 1857 with him. Every time she thinks of "Point 1857", her heart skips a beat. She does not know what is so special about that place, but, just the name "Point 1857" succeeds in making her heartbeat to pick up pace.

Looking up again in the mirror, her lips curls up into a beautiful smile, she brings her right hand up and gently touches the mirror. She wants to confirm if this is true. Today, she feels as if she is the most beautiful girl in this world. Yes, she has dressed up for her Rajveer sir. It maybe is one of the conditions to go to Point 1857, but from inside, she has dressed up for him because she wants him to look at her. This new, yet a pleasurable feeling is unknown to her. She does not understand why she suddenly feels this way. What could be the reason?

Giving herself another smile, she stands up as she makes no effort to move from the mirror.

"Sir aap chahte thay na ke mein ek different outfit pehnoo, toh ye lijiye! Aa rahi hoon mein"

mumbles Naina under her breath.

Her heartbeat picks up pace as she looks towards the clock and realises it's almost 1900 hours. She knows it's time for her to go and meet him.

Smiling, giving herself a last look in the mirror, she walks out of her room. She feels extremely excited to meet him today. Even though it's not the first time she is meeting him, but today, she feels as if she is meeting her future husband for the first time. Her heartbeat picks up pace on this thought. How can she think of her Rajveer sir in such a way?

Getting shocked on her own thoughts, she bites her lower lip in nervousness and heads out the room. Right now, she feels so glad that Pooja is not here. She does not want to lie to her, but she does not know what to tell her. Even though Pooja is her best friend, yet, she is unable to share this with her. Maybe, she is unable to put her feelings into words.

Finally, she gets out of her room and heads outside KMA, to meet HIM!

Locking his room's door, Rajveer turns around and heads towards outside KMA while a smile is playing on his lips. Dressed up in a black leather jacket along with blue jeans, he looks simple, yet absolutely handsome.

Smiling, he looks towards his watch and realises there is only 10 minutes left until 1900 hours. Although, Rajveer is disciplined and likes to be always on time, but today, he wants to be there before time.

"Dekhte hain aaj Cadet Naina ah Singh time pe aati hai ya nahi"

mumbles Rajveer, smiling and blushing.

Although he won't admit, but yes, he is impatient to see her. He knows she'll always be on time, but, right now, he wants to drag her out of her room and look at her for hours. He wants to look in her eyes and find that satisfaction that he always gets while looking deeply in her eyes. Yes, it's their favourite game, they can play this game for hours!

Realising how impatient he is feeling, he bites his lower lip. He wonders if she'll actually dress up in a different outfit or not. Yes, he lied to her. There is no such condition to visit Point 1857. After seeing her in the red saree that day, he is unable to control himself. Yes, he wants her to dress up, for HIM!

"Point 1857!"

says Rajveer under his breath, softly

Blushing, he lowers his eyes and walks towards the main gates of KMA. Just when he is walking, he suddenly collides with a figure. Immediately looking up, he finds Dr. Shalini standing in front of him, smiling, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Doc aapne toh mujhe dara hi dia"

scolds Rajveer, jokingly

With that, he decides to leave as he realises that he is getting late. But before he could step further, he gets interrupted by Dr. Shalini.

"Kyun Captain? Itni jaldi mein kahan ja rahe hain aap?"

questions Dr. Shalini with a naughty smirk on her face.

Turning towards Dr. Shalini, Rajveer crosses his arms over his chest as he shows fake anger.

"Kyun Dr. Shalini? Mein kahin ja nahi sakta kia?"

questions Rajveer, trying to be angry

As if Dr. Shalini understands his fake anger, she takes a step towards him and looks at him, sternly.

"Saaf saaf kyun nahi kehtay ke aap..."

utters Dr. Shalini

Rajveer's expressions becomes serious at this and his heart skips a beat.

"Ke mein?"

questions Rajveer getting serious

Without breaking the eye contact, Dr. Shalini takes another step towards him, angrily.

"Ke aap...ke aap kisi important kaam se bahir ja rahe hain!"

replies Dr. Shalini

And the next moment, Dr. Shalini bursts into fits of laughter. Rajveer takes a sigh of relief as he is now sure that Dr. Shalini does not know about him and Naina going to Point 1857. She almost gave him a heart attack with her joke and he won't let her go with that so easily.

"Bye Captain"

says Dr. Shalini as she wants to run away from there as soon as possible.

Saying that, she turns around to leave but stops in her tracks with Rajveer's voice.

"Abhi toh mein kisi important kaam se bahir jaa raha hoon per I'll get you soon doc!"

warns Rajveer, smirking

Turning around, Shalini puts her hands on either sides of her waist.

"Dekh lete hain Captain, pehle aap apne us IMPORTANT kaam se toh ho aiye"

replies Dr. Shalini, emphasizing on the word "important".

Rajveer's heartbeat picks up pace as Dr. Shalini utters these words. For a minute, Rajveer doubts that Dr. Shalini knows the truth. Before he could question her, she runs from there, giggling.

Smiling at her friend, Rajveer turns and makes his way towards the main gates of KMA! Finally it's time he will see HIS NAINA!

Chapter 2

Outside KMA


Standing near his jeep, Rajveer has been looking at his watch for the last five minutes. By every passing second, his heartbeat picks up pace. He has been waiting impatiently for Naina. He knows she will come, no matter what.

Suddenly, he feels someone's strong presence behind him and his heart skips a beat. He knows it's her. Suddenly, a blush starts to creep on his cheeks. Not being able to turn around and face her, he stands still in his spot with his eyes closed, in order to hide his emotions.

With his heart racing fast, he feels the urge to suddenly turn around. Listening to his heart, Rajveer immediately tuns around and he sees her, his Naina.



With a beautiful smile on her face, there she stands in front of him, his Cadet Naina Ah Singh. His heart skips a beat on witnessing her, so close to him. At this moment, Rajveer has no words. He has no idea what to say.

On the other hand, Naina's breath hitches on finding him in front of her. Dressed up in a black leather jacket along with blue jeans, he looks dashing, simple yet, amazing! One of the reasons why she gets attracted towards him is because of his simplicity.



"Yes Cadet Singh?"

asks Rajveer, nervously as if not knowing why she is here.

Of course he knows why she is here, but he won't admit it. He pretends as if he doesn't remember. At this, Naina knits her brows together and a sudden disappointment is evident on her face. She feels upset, How can he forget it?

"Yes? What sir? Aapne mujhe 1900 hours pe report karne ko bola tha toh mein yahan aa gyi"

speaks Naina

As soon as these words escapes from Naina's mouth, Rajveer immediately checks his watch and realises it's exactly 1900 hours, she is on time! His heart swells with so much love for her. He knew she would come on time, not because her teacher told her, but because her Rajveer told her, and there is no way she can say no to him.

"Or aap chahte thay ke mein ek different outfit mein aaon toh ye dekhiye"

Naina speaks further smiling.

Smiling, he checks her out from top to bottom and it makes his heart to skip a beat. Wearing a white chooridaar, matching earrings, her hair left loose on her back, she looks not less than an angel. As he looks back up in her eyes, they lock eyes immediately. He notices how the kajal in her eyes makes her eyes to look even more beautiful. The fact that she has dressed up for him, this thought makes him to blush. He knows he has put forth this condition in front of her, but deep down, he knows she has wore this dress for him. He gets mesmerized by her beauty all over again.

Suddenly, Naina's smile vanishes as she sees him looking at her. His intense and constant look makes her cheeks to turn red out of blush, leading her to lower her eyes out of shyness. Seeing his effect on Naina, he smiles and his smile reaches his eyes.

This unique, yet a pleasurable feeling is unknown to Naina. For now, she decides to ignore it. Looking back up in his eyes, Naina smiles.

"Ab toh mein Point 1857 chal sakti hoon na?"

she question him, smiling.

Knowing she won't give up, Rajveer hits his forehead with his right palm, dramatically, yet with a huge smile. This makes Naina to laugh a little.

"Bilkul chal sakti ho"

he replies, smiling.

Suddenly, he turns towards his jeep when Naina decides to ask him another question.

"Sir hum jeep main jaiyege ya...kaise?"

questions Naina

Immediately, Rajveer turns towards her. Suddenly, a thought crosses his mind. Of course, they can go to Point 1857 in his jeep, but, why not play a game with her? He wants to test her. He decides to put another fake condition in front of her, in order to see if she is really eager to go with him in any situation? Or not?

Smiling, he crosses his arms over his chest and takes two steps ahead.

"Naina, Point 1857 ki ye last condition..."

speaks Rajveer

Pointing forward with his right hand's index finger, he speaks further.

"Wahan per sirf paidal jaya ja sakta hai...sirf paidal"

At this, Naina steps forward and tries to see where exactly he is pointing towards. She notices that he is pointing towards a mountain, but she is not able to see it clearly. Smiling at her innocence, Rajveer takes a step towards her.

"Uh uh..bina binoculars ke nahi dekh paogi"

says Rajveer, smirking

Smiling, he decides to continue with his fake condition that he has put in front of her. Still looking at her, he starts going around her.

"Janti ho...Point 1857 sirf door hi nahi bhalke KMA ki sab se unchi pahari hai...sab se unchi pahari. Rasta thora mushkil zaroor hai. Unchai bhi thori zayada zaroor hai..."

says Rajveer

Wanting to see her expressions, he looks towards her. He knows, right now, he is being a little unfair, but as they say, everything is fair in love and war. He wants to test her. Not just his Naina, but his Cadet Naina Ah Singh. He wants to see how determined she is to go to Point 1857.

"Lekin chalega...nahi Cadet?"

he completes his sentence.

He knows he is discouraging her at this moment, but secretly, he prays that she agrees to go to Point 1857! He won't admit but there is another reason why he has put this condition in front of her. Since it will take them longer if they walk, that means they'll get to spend more time together and this is exactly what he wants, yet he might not admit it.

Knowing he is testing her, she suddenly turns towards him with a smile playing on her lips.

"Unchai jitni bhi ho sir lekin mere iradoon se unchi nahi hai"

she says, confidently, blushing

Listening to her determination, his smile grows even bigger. He knew she will go with him, doesn't matter what conditions he puts in front of her. He looks towards her and finds her smiling with her full heart. His heart swells with so much pride and love, for his Naina! Secretly, he is very happy that they'll get to spend more time together.

"Tum nahi manogi!"

he states smiling, proudly

Listening to this, a blush starts to creep on her cheeks.

"Chalein?"

she questions, blushing and smiling

His heartbeat picks up pace at this. It's time for them to finally visit Point 1857 which they both have been looking forward to!

"Chalo!"

He replies, blushing

Chapter 3

They start walking towards their destination, together! With a help of a long rope, that is tied, they start to climb up the mountain, Rajveer in front and Naina right at back. As Naina holds the rope tightly and pulls it for support, it makes her bangles to chime. The chiming of her bangles causes Rajveer to stop. This amazing sound gives him pleasure and satisfaction.

As soon as he stops, he immediately turns back to look at Naina. Since they were so close to each other, the sudden movement from Rajveer also causes Naina to halt with a jerk, leading her hand to slip from the rope.

As soon as her hand slips, she is about to fall back, but Rajveer is quick. Knowing what exactly is about to happen the next moment, Rajveer quickly grabs her wrist and pulls her to him, leading her front to collide with his chest, while his other arm is engulfing her waist protectively.

At this moment, fear runs inside Naina and her eyes are shut due to that. They stay in this position for few minutes, feeling and enjoying each other's warm touch, not wanting to let each other go. While Naina's eyes are still closed out of fear, Rajveer is holding her safely while smiling at her innocence.

"Tum theek ho Naina?"

questions Rajveer, softly

This question leads Naina to open her eyes and she looks at Rajveer immediately, without even moving an inch. Smiling, Naina nods her head in affirmation. They both lock eyes immediately as they enjoy their precious eye-contact. Rajveer's eyes falls on her hand which he has been holding. He realises that he has been holding her from her wrist tightly, gripping her bangles as well along with her wrist. He suddenly loses his grip a little, but he makes no effort to leave her hand. At this opportunity, he looks at her carefully and intensely. Yes, he did not look at her properly earlier. He loves the effort that she has put while getting ready. With very minimum makeup, she looks simple, yet beautiful. The touch of these bangles makes her to look even more gorgeous. He stares at her bangles for some time with a satisfactory smile playing on his lips.

Bangles have always been one of his favourites. He had always wished that one day, someone will wear bangles, for him! And here she is today. Even though he has put a condition in front of her to wear a different outfit, but nowhere he mentioned anything regarding wearing bangles. This extra effort makes his heart to swell with so much love for her.

Realizing what exactly is happening and in which position they are in, Naina immediately tries to distance herself from him by taking a step back. She lowers her eyes out of shyness and her cheeks starts heating up under his intense gaze. It looks like Rajveer is in no mood to leave her. Right now, they are not in KMA and right now, he is not Captain Rajveer, but just Rajveer!

Instead of letting her go, he makes his hold tighter on her waist, leading her heart to skip a beat. She widens her eyes and looks towards him. Realising he wants to stay close to her, she accepts it and makes no effort to move.

With his hand holding her waist safely, they again start climbing the mountains.

"Ye chudiyaan tum per bohut achi lag rahi hain Naina. In fact, bangles have always been my favourite piece of jewellery on girls"

He tells her

Hearing this, another blush starts to creep on her cheeks, leading her cheeks to turn bright red. She gets shocked on listening to this. When he saw her in the Red Saree, he was so hesitant to express his feelings, but today, he is freely telling her about his likes. At this moment, she realises that she is not with Captain Rajveer, but with her Rajveer.

Smiling and blushing, Naina nods her head.

"Thanks for the complement!"

blushes Naina

This makes him to stop and the red saree scene starts to play in front of him. He closes his eyes out of irritation on remembering how that day she took his words as just a complement, but they were his true feelings which came straight out of his heart. But today, he won't let this happen. He will tell her that it's not just a complement, but something much more than that.

"It's not just a complement Naina"

he blurts out, sternly, without wanting to look towards her.

Such a bold statement from Rajveer sends shivers in her entire body. She knows exactly what he means, right now, she knows he is putting his desires in front of her, but she chooses to stay quite.

They again start walking silently. This silence is killing both Naina and Rajveer. Whereas Rajveer is in no mood to say a word, but Naina wants to strike a conversation.

"Acha sir aapko or kya kya pasand hai?"

questions Naina

A smile starts to creep on Rajveer's lips on hearing this. Deciding to punish her later for her earlier words, he decides to continue the conversation and decides to put his likes in front of her.

"Mujhe simple cheezain achi lagti hain Naina"

he replies, smiling

Naina smiles at this. Somewhere, she knew that he is all about simplicity. But, she wishes to know about his likes in detail.

"Jaise ke?"

questions Naina

Rajveer turns to look towards her and finds out how eager she is to find out. Smiling, he again looks at the front as they continue walking. Perfect opportunity to punish her for her earlier words, he thinks! He smirks as an idea crosses his mind. He suddenly stops and turns to looks towards her again. His eyes going dark by every passing second which leads Naina's heartbeat to pick up pace.

"Kyun itni bechain ho tum meri pasand janne ke liye Naina? Kya tum meri wishes puri karogi? Kya tum wohi karogi jo mujhe pasand ho?

questions Rajveer while looking intensely in her eyes.

Chapter 4

His sudden question takes her by surprise. Not knowing exactly what to say or how to react, Naina keeps staring at him in utter shock while Rajveer is still holding her waist safely.

He waits for her answer, but in return, she does not utter a single word.

"Jawab do Naina"

Rajveer re-prompts his question

This breaks Naina's trace. Knowing he won't let this go so easily, she lowers her eyes out of hesitation and shyness. Rajveer understands her hesitation completely as his feelings are unknown to her, but, today, he won't let this go so easily, he has decided that no matter what, he'll let her know about his feelings and is also determined to find out about her feelings.

Lowering her eyes, she looks away.

"Chalein sir?"

says Naina as she tries to change the topic.

This succeeds in making Rajveer angry. There is no way he'll change this topic or let her do that. Today, she needs to know that she is not talking to Captain Rajveer, but Rajveer. He is very patient when it comes to his professional matters, but personally, he is not at all patient, and yes, she is his personal matter!

Not wanting to let this topic go so easily, he applies a little pressure on her waist. This succeeds as it makes Naina to immediately look up in his eyes and her heart skips a beat as she finds his eyes blazing with anger.

"Aaj nahi Naina. Aaj tum mere har sawal ka jawab dogi"

says Rajveer, more like an order.

By every passing second, Naina's heartbeat picks up pace. This is the first time she has seen this bold side of Rajveer. At this moment, she wants to lower her gaze, but his intense and constant gaze does not give her the permission to do so.

Still maintaining the eye-contact, Naina's facial expressions also turns serious.

"Kya poochna chahte hain aap?"

questions Naina

Taking a deep breath, Rajveer closes his eyes out of frustration. Does she not understand what he has just asked few minutes ago? Or is she just acting? Whatever it is, he will get his answer.

Looking hack up towards her, his expressions more calmer than before.

"Jo mein kahoon, kya tum wo karogi?"

questions Rajveer with a much calmer tone

Naina's facial expressions also turns soft and calm by every passing second.

"Hamesha!"

utters Naina without realising what she has just said.

Hearing this, a smile starts to creep on Rajveer's lips. As she finds him smiling, this is when she realises what she has just said, there was no hesitation and no guilt. Love and trust were the only things that were there. This is true, she will do whatever he wants. She wants to fulfill all his wishes. Shyly, Naina lowers her gaze out of shyness.

Not wanting to talk about this at this moment, Naina looks towards his hand which is engulfing her waist. Slowly, she moves his hand away from her waist. With that, she holds on to the rope more tightly and again starts climbing up the mountain leaving Rajveer behind.

Smiling at her innocence, Rajveer starts to climb up the mountain. He knows what exactly is going on in her mind. She wants to run away from the topic, but hell there is no way he will let her do that. Maybe not now, but later, he will make her do whatever he wishes. Feeling pity on her, he decides to continue this later, after reaching Point 1857!

Within few minutes, after a lot of struggle, they finally reach at the top of the mountain. Yes, they finally reach Point 1857.

"Wow! Toh ye hai Point 1857!"

says Naina in pleasure as she looks around her surroundings.

In excitement and happiness, Naina takes few steps forward, away from Rajveer. Smiling, she starts walking around as she tries to examine the entire place. Nothing too fancy, she finds this place almost empty, except for the white beautiful flags that are swaying with the cool breeze.

It might not be too catchy, but indeed it is calm and beautiful and this is the speciality of this place; anyone can fall in love with the simplicity and calmness of this place. The touch of the beautiful moon light adds more taste into this delightful sight.

Closing her eyes, Naina tries to inhale the calmness of this place. While all this time, Rajveer is standing at a distance and watching her with a beautiful smile that is playing on his lips. The fact that she is happy after witnessing this place, it gives him extreme pleasure.

Opening up her eyes, Naina again starts looking around to get a better feeling of this marvellous place.

"It's amazing!"

utters Naina as she gets mesmerized by the beauty of this place.

Blushing, crossing his arms over his chest, Rajveer stares at Naina lovingly.

"Amazing! Just like you Naina!"

mumbles Rajveer, blushing!

Although he is standing few meters away from her, but, his voice echos. Thinking she couldn't hear, he utters those words, but surprisingly, those words are heard by Naina, that too very clearly.

Getting shocked at what she just heard, Naina turns around and looks towards Rajveer in utter surprise. She was definitely not expecting such words from him. They lock eyes immediately. At this moment, Rajveer realises that she has heard each and every word.

Surprisingly, instead of lowering his eyes out of hesitation and shyness like a typical Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, he makes no effort to break their precious eye-contact, Infact, Rajveer looks intensely and constantly in Naina's eyes. Today, he will not take his words back, in fact, he has decided to let her know about his feelings. He has had enough of it; he is unable to hide his feelings anymore. Although he has decided, but there is no way he will force her to accept him. He is a true gentleman who respects Naina more than he loves her. He just wants to know what she feels for him!
