Alekh: I cant see this happening. Rajveer sir and Naina love each other so much. Why are they getting divorced?!
Shalini: I understand your frustration Alekh. But they have decided to do this!
After signing the papers
Raj: We'll always be friends... And wish the best for each other.
Naina: Raj how did we mess this up? We both loved each other.. correction still love each other so much.. How did things become so bad.
Raj put his hands around Naina and wiped away her tears.
The next few months were incredibly difficult for both of them. Their relation was over but they were still in love with each other. Staying away was hard
One day Naina learned that Raj and Alekh were going undercover for a secret mission. The moment she heard the news she felt uneasy. She went to raj to ask him about it.
Raj: Naina I cant say anything its a secret mission and i cant tell anyone...
Naina: But you can tell me. i am your wife damnit... Oh... Iwas your wife. i am no one in your life now
Raj: Naina i'll be ok! i promise!
Bur naina was constantly worried. the day before raj and alekh were supposed to leave she went to alekhs house.
Naina: tell me alekh. i know there's something about this mission i should know. If you have ever consdiered me your sister. tell me!
Alekh was helpless. He couldn't see naina like this/
Alekh: We are going to cross tjhe border to look for indian POWs... one of whom could be naveen bhaiya.
Naina was speechless and had tears streaming down her eyes. she ran outside in the rain and immediately went to raj's house.
Raj was worried seeing naina drenched and shivering and crying.
He took her inside and tried to get dried... but she stopped him.
Naina: why are you doing this? Putting your life at risk for the small chance that bhaiya is alive.
Raj: i have always beleived in no man left behind. I want to help every POW whether or not he is naveen.
Naina: agreed. but you are a major. At such a high post you shouldn't be undertaking such an operation. You'd be a high potential capture for the enemy. you are doing this for bhaiya.
Raj: Naina please...
Naina: fine let me come.
Raj: Not a chance... you are too emotionally involved.
Naina was shivering... but she refused to get changed.
Naina: asnd... aa... you...uu... arrrnttt..
Raj: naina get dry. you'll fall ill. i am not naveen's family.
Naina: re...aaa...llly?
Raj: Naina stop the ziddd. you'll get pneumonia like this.
He dragged her to his bedroom and stripped her of her wet clothes. He suddenly realized that he had no right to do that. She was no longer his wife. He became conscious and made her wear one of his shirts. Naina wasnt there physically. She wasn't saying anything... only shivering.
He set up the fire in the fire place and placed a blanket around naina. He went to get some hot coffee.
He came back to find that naina had thrown the blanket and was standing near the window,
Raj: Naina come here. you'll fall ill.
he turned her around and found her crying...
Naina; if something happens to you i'll die.. we lost our baby; our marriage because of my carelessness.
Raj: you know i didn't mean that, I was angry.. I didn't mean it.
Naina: I taunted you about bhaiya.. thats why...
Raj: No. i am doing this for myself. to get my life back... to get naveen back..
she was crying continuously. Raj took naina's face in his hands and kissed away her tears. Naina clung to him and wouldn't let him go. Raj was conflcted. He knew he had to this. naina and he weren't married anymore. they shouldn't be getting so close... He picked her up and placed her on the bed.
But as he started moving away she pulled him closer...
Naina: Raj I need you... All of you.. tonight... please...
She kissed him desperately and raj kept holding her. He was very conflicted. He wanted to console her. To give her the physical closeness she wanted... But he knew that was not the right thing to do! Even though they loved each other, they were now divorced!
But the look in her eyes. He finally let go...
In seconds they had taken off their clothes and were holding on to each other hungrily. Their love making had a passion, a restlessness. Not only were they this close after months, they were also aware of the impending separation.
Naina in particular feared that she may never see raj again.
She wasn't satisfied with making out with him. She wanted him inside her. She went under him and began pulling his manhood towards her entrance. Raj finally came to his senses and began moving away. But Naina wouldn't let him...
Naina: I need you. I'll die if i think you don't love me anymore.
Raj: Shhh...
He plunged inside her.
Next morning
Raj woke up, horrified that he hadn't handled the situation better last night. Naina was vulerable. But he should have controlled the situation...
Naina walked into the room with a tray of breakfast.
Naina: You need to leave for your mission in an hour. Eat. I'll get everything else ready.
Raj: Last night,,,
Naina: I wanted it! More than you. I needed it...
Raj got ready. Before he left naina kissed him softly on his lips.
Naina: Come back soon
There was no news from alekh and raj for the next 3 months. Finally they heard from alekh. They had found naveen langushing in a jail and were on their way back.
Naina ran to her bhaiya. he looked aged and tired. but his eyes still had the same twinkle in their eyes.
Naveen: Gudiya stop crying. I am fine. I am ok! Raj saved me.
Naina: Bhaiya wheres raj
Bhaiya i am asking something
Naveen: Gudiya he was captured as we were trying to escape
hearing that naina collapsed.
They didn't hear a word from raj. 5 months later everyone had given up hope. except naina.
And naina's hope turned out to be stronger than everyone's logic and rationale.
Raj returned in a prisoner swap.
Raj was thrilled to meet everyone. But his eyes only searched for naina
Raj: Naveen, where's naina.. why isn't she here?
Naveen: Raj we had a hard time stopping naina from coming here. Doctors orders
Raj: Doctor??!! what happened to her. take me to her.
As soon as they got home, raj insisted on walking to nainas room. As he slowly made his way to her room, he was very nervous. But he had never expected what he saw when he walked in.
Naina was sitting on the bed and smiling.
And she looked heavily pregnant
Raj was dumbfounded.
Naina: Come here raj! Welcome home...
Raj walked slowly to her. He sat next to her.
Raj: You are pregnant... the night before the mission.
Naina nodded her head.
Raj: Are you ok?... how did you.
Naina: Shh...
She took his hand and placed it on her bump
Naina: Questions later. first meet your babies.
Raj placed his hands and had tears of joy.
Raj: Wait, you said babies?
Naina: Yes. We are pregnant with twins raj
