I hope Harit is intrigued by Teeku, 'cause I sure am!!!

Himani's hammering

He spent the night watching the match in the lounge. She spent the night playing a video game with Chandan Gauri Garima and Suyash on ipads.

Her mother gave her a sound hammering though when she noticed Avantika filled up her plate and went and sat by Alka and Suman

Himani pretended to eat getting some food herself and sitting by her daughter

"DO CHAIR hain unki right mein, aapko waha baithna chahiye beta Himani hissed

"Ma I went to bed, and didn't eat I am really hungry she whispered hurt

"Beti ko Ma ki yaad aa gayi? Alka commented cheerfully

"Inko Dilli rehne ki aadat hai, kahan aati thi Roorkee mushkil se teen mahiney mein ek weekend Himani subtly made a point

"Ma is very unfair she is lying, I had an ongoing reservation for every 6^th week, haan last year se hum 10^th week ja rahe the, that too only October Nov Dec Teeku was hurt

"Shatabdi hai na? Suman quizzed

"Haan... bus acchhi seat miley hamey aur hum pair window mein karke so jaayen Teeku leaned back and pretended to snooze in that dining hall chair

"Abhi soney ki yaad bahut aayegi inhe Alka whispered conspiratorially

Himani nodded winking hoping she could get her daughter to feel something

"Hamare Harit ne inko saara din soney diya hai Alka spoke proudly

"He didn't want to sleep Teeku shrugged, thinking they were talking about the fact that he gave up his bed for her

"Agar who let jaate to aap so nahi paati Suman spoke between suppressed giggles

They were like two silly teens, or like simple small town women who still believed in the magic of the first sexual experience

Both accomplished and successful, yet to a certain extent coy about these things.

"Hamari Meeta keh rahin thi inko ki soney ka program Roorkee mein kar lena, Bareilly jakar kam mil paayega Himani was thrilled the two DILs were so sweet and friendly

"Bhabhi is my dushman, hum soney jaate who dopahar mein clinic band kar aatin aur hamey roz naye naye open mouth ke kisse sunaatin Teeku looked sad

"Ab to aapko kachehri ke kisse milenge

"Bistar mein Alka said and shot into peals of laughter "Tee hee heheee

"tsk tsk Suman laughed inaudibly

Harit was almost diagonally across from them but he wasn't paying much attention to Avantika

Avantika barely looked at him also

After dinner mother and daughter sat in the couch in the lobby

"Teeku please don't act weird beta she whispered

"What are you talking about Ma?

"Aap phone phone kar rahin thi kaha Suman ne, hum phone le aaye, I wish I hadn't... your MIL was gushing about her son, aur aap hain phone mein doobi hain Himani snatched it from her

"Devu looked at his Linked In Profile and told me about King's college? Teeku said with a straight face as if narrating some random fact like how many rivers are there in India

"Who bhi aapne nahi dekha? Himani was not happy

"Ma, its public information, anyone can see it any time Teelku was baffled

"Beta, if... umm... ruko... (Himani struggled for a few minutes) texted Meeta and Meeta called on Teeku's phone

"Aur what is the hottie doing? Meeta asked cheerfully

"Kuch bhi nahi... Teeku turned to look at the dining area... "Oh sorry hes not there she mumbled

"Teeku, did he try to kiss? Meeta asked in a giggly whisper

"What is with you married with kids women? Teeku shook her head

"You know what it is? Its excitement, thrill and a sense of fear. You will never forget the way he touches you. The kiss will probably make you loony Meeta was bitter and blunt

Teeku listened in shock.. partly for what was said, partly because her Bhabhi had never spoken so sharply to her

"There is 15 million people here. I am not thinking about it Teeku said defensively

"Ma ko deejiye phone Meeta ordered

"Aap karen baat Teeku shook her head and handed it over

"Ma lets hope Harit kuch karenge, inka to main kya kahoon Meeta was perplexed

Now she has more women literally at her tail... getting pounded literally by all the questions and the teasing directed her way. Her tunnel vision being punch drunk on the possibility of looking at this marriage as a passport to chandan is about to get slammed by approaching blinkers.

It's not easy for teeku given the relentless amount of prodding that Meeta gives on Himanis hammering though these women have the best intentions at heart but she is not making it easier for herself either by her apparent disinterest in the proceeding that's increasingly glaring to the audience. And the pressure is telling on the concerned elders who got them together in the first place leaving them frustrated in agony

At least One of the two needs to talk to the other just for buying themselves time out of this situation . May be Harit should as it's all going over the head for Teeku now.

Right they do have to get the approaching night out of the way.

The time when she realises that her need for chandan requires that she has to accept everything that goes with the territory is not too far away. It's going to be a tough lesson for her.

Let it be platonic for a while now

So now even Meeta is mad. Harit is polite but I'm sure he knows what being married is. How will he begin to unravel the bind??

Does harit had convos with his friends about this sort of arranged marriage like teeku had with devika?

"Umm... hum ek din ke liye aayen? Teeku whispered to her Mom showing her index finger

I can sooo relate to Teeku ! I really wanted to extend every bit of my stay at my parents before going to in-laws and off to a different country. Apart from the excitement of marriage and husband, change is humongous ! There will be run away feelings and actual escapes and drag backs !!! With her mind to come back home with Chandan, this is a sure thing to happen. Let's see where Nisha takes them/us.
