Sappy love stories... cheesy tales and titles... are never to be trivialized for the comparative insulation effect it provides. Speaking of which, the title Dori and Doori was its cheesy best. Amidst all this angst, these lovely titles still manage to put a smile on you .

😡 tThese are sick people they should be stoned to death or hanged in public so that sick ppl like them should know what the consequences of their heinous act would be. But then such sick ppl look only for momentary pleasures they are not worried bout d consequences. I as a mother of a 5 yr old son who travels 25 km daily by school bus so as to achieve schooling from a reputed and old school live in constant fear regarding his safety. U just can't trust any1. Not even the kids classmates or his peers. U nvr know what they wil do. We are turning into animals it seems.

It's frustrating Neha. Many issues on the rise .. physchlogical issues , they have no one to talk to, they start living in their own head space they create for themselves ... the next we know is these people take a gun, or other arms and go on a mass destruction spree or resort to extremely perverse pleasures through any means. Power hungry, opportunism...there is so much sensationalism to all this looking or going hunting for vulnerable / soft targets. There is no vent. Today if we have lived a life uneventful, we have done good for ourselves.

Nisha, I feel, one needs to be very careful about the territories that one is accusing of as regards sexual exploitation , particularly under this umbrella of this me too movement.
IMO the difference is blurring as is brought to question particularly by that of Ansari's. It's defiitely disturbing.

The movement when it started , if one would like to compare it to a rock, now this same moment under this umbrella has got Algae' forming on the rock. Some algae as it is need very little to grow, taking full advantage of even the low light in offer.

There has to be a distinction between those of rape, coercion, , work place manipulation or simply a consensual date gone wrong as to the territories bracketed. Impaired judgements under consensual circumstances can still have a no' on it . Yep Mangni is here in a couple of days. No doubt the couple will have so many eyes on them amidst growing concerns on their cold behavior towards each other. The parents, siblings and their spouses all trying a nudge here and there but no effect. I'm waiting to see who gives in first.
