It was the day of happiness. The day where two supposed lovers were going to promise their love for each other. Promise to live together till death does them apart. It was the day of Rey and Kriya's wedding.The shekhawet mansion was decorated spectacularly which was expected as it was the famous Rishi Shekhawet's daughter's marriage. There was laughter and happiness etched on all the guests faces. Everyone was excited except one person. Taani.Taani was sitting in her room which was on the third floor of the mansion. In fact she was the only person who lived on that floor. Her dad and Kriya lived on the second floor. She looked at herself in the mirror and she could see the sadness in her eyes she tried to hide with her fake smile. "Uffo Taani. Its not like anyone will even bother to notice. And even dad told me to not get seen much by the guests as he didn't want a scene happening on his favorite daughter's wedding. Taani said to herself bitterly. It was true no one cared about Taani liked they cared about kriya. She had always tried to get her father's attention but he was too busy trying to gain forgiveness from Kriya. He always showered her with gifts but neglected Taani. He didn't even remember her birthday all these years.She didn't blame him. He wasn't around her when she grew up. She came to his house when she was 16. Taani picked up the picture of one woman and a child who were hugging each other. "I miss you mom Taani thought. Tears brimmed in her eyes. "Okay no tears today. It's your sister's wedding Taani said to herself. Inside her heart was aching. After all her sister was marrying the man Taani loved. Rey.Rey and she were just barely friends. As he was the manager of D3 Academy and she talked about all the things sponsor related with him only . She worked in the company that sponsors the academy. She already knew him since kriya and the gang were friends. She knew all Kriya's friends. But Rey had been different. He was handsome, caring and an amazing dancer. Every time she saw him her stomach used to flutter. But fate had always been cruel to her. Sharon, her best friend and also the best friend of Rey, had told her that he loves Kriya. She was heartbroken. She locked her feelings for him but somehow they grew much stronger. She would dream about him and he just invaded her mind day and night.Taani quickly put final touches on herself and made her way downstairs to check on Kriya. She knew Kriya will tell her to get lost but still she wanted to see how looked in bridal wear. She was just walking towards Kriya's room when her dad called her."Taani tell Kriya to get ready to come downstairs soon, they have arrived, Rishi told her. Taani felt weird. At one side she was happy Kriya was getting her happiness but then she loved Rey so she felt a little hurt but she has never wished anything bad happening to Rey and Kriya's relationship. Brushing her thoughts away, she quickly went to Kriya's room. She knocked twice but there was no answer so she just opened the door. Thankfully it was not locked. But there was no one there. "KRIYA Taani shouted but no answer came. Taani checked the bathroom but no luck. Taani started panicking. She quickly opened Kriya's cupboard. Empty. The cupboard was empty. Taani was shocked. Kriya's wedding dress was still on the bed. None of Kriya's personal belongings were in the room. Taani pulled out her phone and called Kriya's phone but it was coming switched off. She couldn't understand what was happening. Where could Kriya go."Kriya lets go downstairs. Its time Mr. Shekhawet came in the room to take them downstairs. He saw Taani s panicky face and asked what was wrong and where was kriya. "I don't know dad, but she is gone I tried calling her but her phone is switched off and her clothes are gone. We should ask the servants if they have seen her. Rishi was getting tensed now. He called the maid to search for Kriya and told her to ask the guards outside as well. The groom was eagerly waiting downstairs for their bride to arrive.~Here with Rey~"where are these idiots ughh Rey groaned. His friends hadn't come to his house and they weren't picking his calls either. What was wrong with them he thought. They were supposed to meet him at his house so they could go together to Kriya's house. His mother told him to just go as they were getting late. So he messaged his best buddy Swayam that he is leaving and they can arrive directly to Kriya's house. He was really excited and happy today. He was getting married to Kriya, his love. He remembered when they met for the first time. She had come to audition in the college to join his dance team. He was mesmerized with her dance. She was amazing. They fought a lot in the beginning and somewhere along the line he had started to fall for her. They were best friends at the end of their college year. Then the whole D3 academy was created. It was his dream and he was lucky to have someone he loved by his side. After One successful year of D3, he had proposed to her to be his girlfriend. She had rejected him at first and he was heartbroken. But after a while she had come to him and told him she was ready. Then they dated for 6 months and he thought why not get married if they loved each other. So he proposed to her on her birthday. She said yes obviously. Their families were happy. And he believed both him and Kriya were happy.The car stopped at a beautiful mansion decorated for the happiest day of two lives. There was a lot of noise and everyone was hooting. He looked for his friends but they weren't there. He was a bit worried now. They should have been here by now. He went inside and everyone congratulated him. He went and sat at the mandap waiting for Kriya to come down and be his forever. Rishi greeted him and hugged his father before going upstairs to call his stunning wife. He couldn't wait to see her and take her home. They hadn't gotten intimate as kriya wanted to wait for marriage and he respected that.
It had been an hour since he was sitting at the mandap. Neither Rishi or Taani had come down since the past one hour. People had started to talk. Everyone was gossiping." Maybe she ran away. I have heard she is rude to her family Rey who was pacing heard one Aunty say that. He got angry but before he could say anything his dad came forward and told him to come upstairs with him to meet Rishi.
He was feeling restless now. His friends weren't there for support either. He felt like something bad was going to happen. Something that would change his life. His doubts were confirmed. Beep. Beep. His phone ringed. He was on the second floor of the mansion where his dad and mom was walking towards the room which he knew to be Kriya's. His dad told him to wait at the end of the hallway. He opened his phone to check the message. He was shocked. He couldn't breathe.
