CHAPTER 3


Thinking of Siddhant, Roli gets that gorgeous smile which only he can bring on her face. How naughty he is, thinks Roli as she takes a look of her plump lips and a small love bite on her shoulder in the mirror. Who knew that Siddhant Bharadwaj, the rough and tough IPS officer could be so damn romantic? At least she didn't think of it even in the rarest of her dreams. The memory of the moments they spent together a while ago gives her a chill down her spine. Huh...His touches!!! She's yet to come out of their effect both mentally and physically. She lies on her chest on the bed, grabbing her pillow, as she recalls their first meet.

A fleet of police and Government vehicles floods the yard of National Security Department. Full refuge is in the air with policeman in every nook and corner. A damn crazy crowd of print and visual media journalists and cameramen are trying their best to break in and collect the hot news but are held back by the police officers as per the order from their higher officials. All over, it is a total tumult atmosphere. Soon, all eyes become vigilant as a small group of people could be spotted getting out of the lift. Central defense minister, Mr. Sinha, a bald headed fellow in his early 60s, walks out accompanied by his black cats. He discusses something serious with the security chief who is also bit old. With them are a team of four men, with a typical security force look and makes a doubt if that are even leaving their breaths. Roli Dwivedi, a junior reporter from HRD news, a top news channel of the nation huffs and gasps as she tries her best to push herself to the front. In fact every single journalist is on the same attempt to push forward to reach the team. "Sir...Sir...please can you tell us about this major operation which has become a milestone in Indian security?' asks a journalist. "Sir...what was the real problem which necessitated this operation?' enquires other. "Sir...sir... Sir...' it goes on. The police officers tries to hold them back but to no avail. "easy...easy...' gestures Mr. Sinha calming the crowd. "I'll be talking to you all...But two minutes...We'll have a detailed press meet in a week time...Now...About this operation...This is a very extensive step taken in the history of Indian security norms...Through this, we have safeguarded our cyber world from the attacks of terrorists and enemy countries...And this plan has been laid and worked out by one of our most brilliant young officer, Mr. Siddhant Bharadwaj...' says Mr. Sinha as he holds and makes Siddhant stand with him. Roli who has been listening all the while takes a look of the guy, Siddhant. At least 6 feet 2', he looks definitely handsome in his tight fitting pale cyan shirt and dark auburn pants. He has got such a serious face, that Roli even doubts if he doesn't know to smile. But she couldn't ignore his charm, he with his well built body and the most substantial attitude gets her attracted to him. How it will look when a girl gets trapped in those strong arms, she thinks involuntarily. Next moment, she realizes the depths of her thoughts and mentally slaps her for it. But by then, she could see that the minister has already got in to the car which starts quickly. She looks back quickly and realizes that the camera has been very well capturing the moments and huffs in relief. A few journalists try to run behind the car with their cameramen, but Roli chooses to use the present situation at the best. She pushes herself forward amongst the crowd and reaches front row. "Mr. Siddhant Bharadwaj, what you got to tell about this operation?' asks her in the typical media style. Sid furrows his eyebrows in the sight of this young girl who dared to question him. "Sorry...I'm not interested for a talk right now...' replies him tying his hands at his back. Is he gonna kill someone, thinks her as she takes a look of his rugged pose. "But sir...' another journalist begins. "Listen...We're not here to answer your questions...Please...we have lots of work to be completed...Whatever you got to ask, you can ask the higher officials... not us...Don't waste our time now..Clear up as early as possible...' orders him sternly. This is more than enough to wake up the rebellious journalist in Roli. "Hello sir...What do you think? We're all free and jobless that we're running behind to take your statement? For your kind information, this is all for the people to know; otherwise, we don't have any sort of interest to run behind an arrogant person like you...' says Roli shocking one and all. Sid gives her a look whilst his senior officer signs him to handle and gets in with the two in their gang. Now Sid and his friend Aarav is all who's left for the media to feast upon. Aarav, a much fun loving guy than Sid, basically Sid's punching bag, nudges Sid as he gives a sharp look to Roli. "Bhai...In my opinion, we should not let go this golden opportunity...Imagine, all the TV channels will show our faces all day...Ahhh...that would be so great...'he whispers in Sid's ear. Sid shifts his glare from Roli to Aarav. "Will you keep quiet yourself or should I stuff something in your mouth?' asks him with a deadly expression, though gently. Aarav keeps quiet, coming back to the fake serious expression again. "Get them all out...' orders Sid to the cops and turns to go. The cops tries to get them out whilst the journalists also does their bit of protesting. "Aee you officer!!! you...' shouts Roli. Sid just turns back, gives her a look and continues to walk in whilst the police officers manage to put her out of the gate.




"Roli are you talking of Siddhant Bharadwaj? My girl...you don't know about him...he's the most talented IPS officer serving the security team right now...And you shouted at him...Very bad...If he wish he can get you out of your post yaar...' warns Aarsha, Roli's friend. Roli gets tensed hearing her friend fearful talks, already she had heard a lot from the chief for not collecting news from Siddhant. But what she can do, can she put her fingers in his mouth and say, 'Bolo beta'. Now to add salt to her wounds, the chief wants her to get an interview of him. But how??? After her shout at him, she doesn't think he would even give her a damn. "Roli...What are you thinking?' asks Aarsha shaking her shoulder. "ahhh..woh..About that guy's interview...i don't know how to convince that kadoos...' says Roli biting her nails. "Roli...there is an idea, like those apsaras in epics who goes to halt the prayers of sage, just go to him...I'm sure, that sage Siddhant also will melt seeing you...' says Aarsha as she nudges Roli with a smirk. "youuu!!!!' begins Roli but stops as she finds Rohini, their chief coming towards her. "Roli...make your plans fast...we should have an exclusive interview of Siddhant Bharadwaj at the fastest..And the responsibility is all yours...' says her. Roli just nods though she's pretty sure she can't do it; because Siddhant Bharadwaj is indeed a tough nut to crack.




Surprise...Aarav is back...Ya, Aarav, was my favorite after RoSid in pyaar hi dha, so he'll be joining us in this new journey too... So be ready for Aarav and his craziness
