Khanum kisses her on her forehead & leaves.
Kumari: So you have finally got your Nawab.

She distributes the sweets to everyone in the kotha & goes to Kabir to give him sweets.

Saras holds her & said, "You return my ring."
Kumud: Why should I return it?

Saras holds her hand: Enough Kumud, I'm not gonna marry anyone. I was testing your love for me.
Kumud: So you have doubted about my fidelity right?
Saras: Not at all. Even if I had got the doubt it has got cleared. I will stay only with you.
Kumud: And will meet me daily.
Saras: Yes, I will meet you without fail. You have taken the promise of me but now let's talk about you.
Kumud: Fine.
Saras: How can you say that you are the only mine when you are staying at the place where love is getting sold daily?
Kumud: Neither am I born here nor am I like other courtesans. I was Kumud and now I'm Umrao jaan.
