Arjun leaned on door watching his wife water all plants in garden area adjacent to their room. She was as usual humming some song while being totally involved in her work so involved that she still hasn't noticed her presence. A smile was playing on her lips and he didn't want to disturb her but he was starting to get jealous of those damn plants. He wanted some attention. So after nearly standing there for 5 minutes or so he cleared his throat to let her know of his presence.

Keeping the watering can on side she walked towards him with her patent soft smile. "Kafi der se kadhe h beth jaiye...main chai lekr aati hu she left from there making him little embarrassed. Now she wasn't that oblivious of his staring as he thought.

He was sitting in garden when she returned with his tea. Keeping his tea in front of him she too sat beside him. It has become some sort of their routine to have evening tea together. Sometimes they talk or sometimes they just sit silently. Though things have changed between them still they have a long way to go. Arohi is still distant from him and he still hasn't got the forgiveness he has been seeking for.

"How was college? realizing she wasn't going to speak anything he started conversation.

She took a small sip of tea "great. As always

Arjun nodded "nice. My office was also great. Although there was hell lot of work still it was overall great day. I bagged two deals

She nodded "congratulations

He mouthed a thank u and sipped his tea...what is ur favorite color?

"huh

He leaned on his chair stretching his legs "I am just asking for knowledge...I should know ur favorite color like u know mine. Blue!

She smiled "I never asked u ur favorite color...U should also guess without asking

He chuckled "is it a challenge?

"maybe she shrugged her shoulders.

He glimpsed at her drinking her tea calmly with a playful smile. he thought intently about her favorite color...Pink...most girl have it as favorite color but no..maybe Purple. Afterlot of thinking he came at one color.

"white!

Arohi looked at him surprised...

"I am right he grinned seeing her face...yes

She giggled "but how!

He shrugged his shoulders mimicking her "Just like that

She smiled at him and picking up now empty cups walked away leaving Arjun smiling in himself.

Arjun came out changing in his night clothes. He found Arohi in the same position he had left her. Sitting at corner in her night gown with a novel in her hand. Thirteen Reasons Why

"got new book this time he said while settling in bed.

Arohi gave him a momentary glance from and then indulged herself back in book "Yeah! A show based on it is being much hyped. Was curious to know what it is about.

"watch the show

"nah! Books are always better she replied all the time keeping her eyes focused in book.

Arjun laid back with a sigh and checked his phone but couldn't find anything interesting. He stared at Arohi admiring her beauty. He abruptly stood up from bed.

Arohi looked up from book when she heard music playing. She raised her brows looking at him who was now striding towards her. He extended his hand "May I have a dance with u

She closed the book and kept her hand in his...what happened to u suddenly?

"Nothing! he kept her other hand on his shoulder while he held her from waist. They slowly swayed with music staring in each other's eyes. He gently rubbed her cheeks with back of his hand making her smile warmly at him.

Wrapping his arm around her shoulders he pulled her to his chest as they kept swaying.

After breakfast Arjun stood up and waited for Arohi to come with her bag. He always drops her at college in morning and driver picks her up in evening. He opened car's door for her and helped her in settling inside. He quickly jogged around to other side and took his seat behind wheel.

Arohi switched on radio making Arjun smile inwardly. He deliberately drove at slow speed.

"Now the next song is Sun mere humsafar from Badrinath Ki Dulhania on request of Arjun Singhania who wants to dedicate this song to his wife Arohi Singhania with a special message that says...I hope u will miss me too like I will miss u!

Arohi looked at him surprised but he avoided looking at her and kept his gaze focused on road. With the end of song they reached her college. They both stood outside his car.

"Have a nice day he said dropping a chaste kiss on her forehead.

He looked at her confused when instead of going inside she stood facing him...keeping her hand on his shoulder she leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "Thank u! she said referring for that song dedication. "Have a nice day u too and- I will miss u she walked away saying that.

A goofy grin came on his face hearing her words he felt like on top of world. He scratched the back of his head...She is warming up with him.

Few days later~~~

"Ahem he coughed standing behind her. She turned around to find him standing with a mischievous smile.

"mere sath chalo even before she could say something he dragged her towards stairs. When they finally reached terrace Arjun covered her eyes with his hand. "I have a surprise for u

"aap kya kar rahe h Arjun? she kept walking as he directed her.

After few minutes they stopped and Arjun removed his hand from her eyes..Arohi was astonished seeing everything. She recognized she was in that old room in the corner of terrace. And it looked nothing like she remembered.

The whole room was painted white except roof, it was like a palette of color. The room was beautifully designed. All the furniture in room was white keeping her favorite color in mind but there were pop of colors added to give life to the place. There were plants placed in whole room at various places. There was canvas placed in one corner. A beautiful vase was kept filled with her favorite purple orchids. Some of her sketch were pinned on wall and there were some things that were sketched directly on wall and everything that was sketched, related to her in some way or other. Like the Eifel tower in corner depicted her Paris dream. A small section of wall was filled with different cartoons from mickey to Doraemon depicting her love for them. And then at one side, A girl was drawn and below it in bold capital letters it was written "MRS. SINGHANIA

Arjun waited for her to say something but she was only observing the room and not saying anything. He couldn't wait anymore so impatiently rubbing his hands he asked "What do u think?

"It's.. she struggled to let words come out of her mouth...I am awestruck

Arjun smiled satisfactorily "I am glad u liked it

"but there was-" she stopped as he kept his finger on her lips..I respect that u want to earn everything in ur life urself without any financial help from me but I feel I can do this much for u. I just wanted u to have a room in this house to urself. The space that belongs to u. Only u!

Arohi smiled gratefully at him and held his hand "This place is incredible and no amount of thank u will enough

"U can thank me like last time! he mischievously grinned making her blush.

She raised herself on toe and planted her lips on his cheek. When she stood straight he forwarded his other cheek "I think I deserve more than one this time

Arohi giggled shaking her head and kissed him on other cheek as well.

Arohi came out of her college but instead of driver there was certain gorgeous looking man waiting for her. All girls were literally ogling at him but it was a good feeling that his eyes were only at her. Her inside warmed up as he stood mere inches away from her. She could feel his breath on her face. A lot has changed between them in last few days. He Brushed hair strands falling on her face.

"What are u doing here? she asked a little breathless.

"I am leaving for Bangalore in 4 hours so thought to spend some time with u before leaving

She instantly felt saddened by thought of him going away as if understanding her sadness he spoke "I will be back by tomorrow night

She nodded and hoped inside the car as he opened the door for her.

He took her to some lavish roof top restaurant. Arohi was enjoying the exquisite ambience of the place when he held her hand making her look at him.

"Sometimes I think what I would have done if u have refused to give me a chanceI am sorry for everything that u have to go through because of me

"Arjun...it's in past

"I know and if I would, I would do anything to change the past but sadly I can't "Will u ever forgive me Arohi?

"...

"If u won't I will understand. Had I been at ur place I might haven't myself another chance but u did...I often wonder how can anyone give so many chances to someone like me! "Tum sab luch itni easily kasie kr leti ho?

"Arjun-"she was flabbergasted with turn of events. Before she could say something his phone rang. After talking for a minute he disconnected the call looking at his watch.

"I need to go..Driver will take u home he stood up, paying the bill he escorted her outside. Making her seated in car he left from there in other car for airport.

Arohi was very disturbed with whatever happened at restaurant. To lighten her mood she went to her small paradise which was gifted by him- her sketch room. She switched on the lights and savored the room with her eyes. This place brings so much peace to her. She looked at some scattered papers on table near book shelf.

She arranged them and kept in drawer. Her eyes fell on all the novels kept in there. She pulled out the novel she had started reading a few days back but left in between "Thirteen reasons why

She opened the page with bookmark and frowned reading the page number. She didn't remembered reading so much of the book...but then her eyes caught few words that were highlighted with orange highlighter.

Her eyes watered reading it and then she noticed every book on shelf had a bookmark. She pulled put Dragon Liaisons by Choderlos de Laclos.

"Now, I'm not going to deny that I was aware of your beauty.But the point is, this has nothing to do with your beauty. As I got to know you, I began to realise that beauty was the least of your qualities. I became fascinated by your goodness. I was drawn in by it. I didn't understand what was happening to me. And it was only when I began to feel actual, physical pain every time you left the room that it finally dawned on me: I was in love, for the first time in my life. I knew it was hopeless, but that didn't matter to me. And it's not that I want to have you. All I want is to deserve you. Tell me what to do. Show me how to behave. I'll do anything you say."

She sucked in a deep breath and one by one started reading all the bookmarked pages of novels on that shelf.

She fell on her knees with books scattered all around her. She hugged the novel to her chest as she let her love flow through her eyes.

Arjun tiredly made his way towards his room. He was completely exhausted with all the work. He opened the door of room in hope to finally see her face but he was surprised to find the room empty. He looked at watch it was 1:00 am. Where she could be. He called her name few times but no response. He called her number and it was kept on his side. He disconnected the call. He looked for outside in garden, pool area, in her sketch room but she was nowhere. Feeling he worried he came back in room to check her phone if he might something about her whereabouts. When he picked her mobile he noticed something gift wrapped. He carefully opened it to find Kahed Hosseni's novel "A Kite Runner

His heartbeat quickened as he moved to bookmarked page.

"For You, A thousands time over!"

He felt her coming through his side eyes. A relieved sigh escaped from his mouth. He almost ran towards her. Holding her in his arms he hugged her tightly as if his life depended on her. He cupped her cheek caressing her cheeks...I Love You Arohi! he breathed

Arohi closed her eyes for a moment and then again opened to meet his eager ones. She smiled to see the desperateness in his eyes. It was as if he would die if she wouldn't say the words back to him.

"I Love You Arjun! he joined their heads as soon as her confession reached his ears.

Their breaths mingled as their lips finally met to embark their unison.
