Chapter 31

Big windows, with lacy curtains, puffing down the sides. A log cabin overlooking a lake, with beautiful Green trees everywhere outside, and rose pedals all over the floor leading to the bed, of course, the bed, a Beautiful Canopy, all in white lace, with Beautiful Oak Bed poles. A couple of Beautiful Lead Crystal Caraffe's on each Bedside Table, with art work such as Mone' everywhere, on the walls!!! One of those old fashioned washing basins across the room, but made of really nice porcelain with a nice cedar base. The bathtub, also Old fashioned, and made with the legs in nice cold plated !!! with Beautiful Towels lying over the side, and rose pedals in the tub.

The grand parlour was dark and had a warm feel to it. It had a vast porcalain floor which stretched out from the entrance to the dining hall. It walls were covered in dark oak panels. The room was dimly lit with a tasteful chandelier and two smaller standing lamps with oriental lamp-shades. There was a glass coffee table, and rich red velvet couches surrounding it. In the far end of the room, stood a sofa and two armchairs around a smaller coffee table. Behind those stood two expensive looking abstract paintings. It was a beautiful night while the moonlight touched the couple who were laying on that king-sized beautiful bed, which was covered with rose-petals.

The sounds of pleasurable moans were heard from the girl as the guy was kissing and nibbling her neck. His hands went from her chest to all the way down to her waist. He was creasing and feeling her feminine parts while the girl moaned with sweet pleasure. Soon he went up to her lips and sealed her lips with a passionate kiss. She happily opened her mouth to give him full access.

After few minutes, they parted apart to catch their breath. She had her head on his chest and he held her from her waist, not wanting to let her go. There was a huge smile on both of their faces as they were laying down and enjoying the beautiful night. Finally, the guy decided to break the silence.

"Naina..." , he whispered in her ear, softly.

"Raj...", she whispered back

Yes, these two were none other than Rajveer and Naina.

"Naina..", he whispered again

"hmmm", she asked

"Naina, meiri ek hi khawahish hai", he said

"kon si?", Naina asked.

"yehi ke tum meri bahoon mein issi tarah raho puri zindagi", replied Rajveer placing a kiss on her forehead.

Naina smiled hearing those words from Rajveer. Blushing a little, she kissed him on his forehead and hid herself in his chest. Rajveer was just smiling at her innocence, and before she could utter another word, he sealed her lips with another passionate kiss.

Naina woke up with a jerk, her whole body covered with sweats. Looking towards her right, she saw Payal sleeping peacefully. Looking at her innocence, Naina placed a sweet kiss on her cheeks. Getting up from her bed, she reached a glass on her side table. She poured some water for herself to drink.

Naina walked over to the window. She felt relaxed as the cool freeze of air touched her face. She felt tears rolling down her cheeks as she remembered one of the beautiful night that she has spent with Rajveer after few days of their marriage when they went for their honeymoon.

"aapne toh kaha tha ke aap hamesha mujhe apni bahoon mein rakhna chahte ho..phir kyun kiya aapne mere sath aisa?", Naina mumbles to herself as she wiped her tears.

Relating a little, she says, "aaj subha jis tarah aapne mere se baat ki or meri insult ki, us ke liye mein aap ko kabhi maaf nahi karoongi Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat.", says Naina as she remembers the incident that took place few hours ago when she met Rajveer after three years and realised that he is the one whom she is working under for this mission.

Flashback-

While reaching in front of his desk, Naina says, "Capt Naina Singh Aaluwalia reporting, sir!"

The person finally turns his face towards her and her expressions changes completely. She is shocked to find him there, yes he is none other than Major Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. She felt shivers in her entire body. She felt breathless to find him there.

"At ease, Captain!", said Rajveer with a smirk on his face. He knew very well what she was feeling., but at the point of time, he didn't really care about anything anymore. After what she did to him, he doesn't care about her anymore.

"aap..."

These were the only words that came out of her mouth. She was way too shocked to see him there. Her mind went from North to South to East to west but, she couldn't understand what the hell was happening. Was he really there, or was she just dreaming. There were no emotions on Naina's face. She was just starring at Rajveer with her mouth half open.

"Captain Aaluwalia.".

She came back to reality when she heard her name from his mouth. She finally realized that it was not a dream, but reality. Yes, she once again came face-to-face with her ex-husband. What she was feeling, could not be described in words. She was angry, frustrated and little scared.

Naina knew what was coming next. The only thought that came across her mind was Payal. Yes, she was afraid, afraid of losing her Payal, her little angel. There was no way she was going to tell Rajveer about payal being his daughter. She was afraid that he may snatch payal away from her.

"Aap..", Naina finally spoke, "aap yahan kya kar rahe hain?". Her voice was reflecting her anger, her frustration and her helplessness. It was more like a shock for her.

Rajveer knew very well about Naina's condition. He knew what she was feeling right now. He knew even today that she goes week in her knees when she sees him in front of hie. But, at this point, he didn't really care. He had nothing left, he had nothing to do with her anymore.

Smirking a little, Rajveer replied, "Captain Aaluwalia, ye office mera hai or aap shayad ye nahi janti ke jis mission pe aap yahan hain, ussi mission ka supervisor mein hoon."

This came as a surprise for her. She was more shocked than surprised. Seeing her ex-husband after three years in a form of her senior officer, she was shocked. Right at that moment, her mind went to Aalekh's phone call. Maybe this is what Aalekh wanted to tell her. Maybe Rajveer is the one who stopped Aaelkh purposely.

Looking at her frustration, Rajveer speaks further, "Captain Aaluwalia, I hope ke aap personal matter ko hamaray kaam mein aanay nahi deinge."

"yes, sir!", Naina replied immediately.

It was hard for Naina to believe what Rajveer was saying. Did he really forget about their past? Did he really have nothing to do with her anymore? Is he not doing all this for revenge. Then, her mind went towards Payal. She cannot lose her daughter. Naina decided to stay away from Rajveer as much as she could so, he doesn't find out about Payal. Naina decided to just work with Rajveer professionally, nothing personal.

"Good!". Said Rajveer with a smirk.

Rajveer knew exactly what Naina was thinking. He knew that Naina believes that he forgot about his past. But did he really forget about it? Of course not. He was doing all this for revenge. He will not leave her that easily.

"Please have a seat, Captain!", says Rajveer

Naina takes a seat on a chair in front of him. Naina could feel something fishy in Rajveer's smirk. She didn't know what it was, but she felt something weird. Putting her personal issues aside, she finally spoke, "sir, I have a question!"

"yes, Captain?", Rajveer asked furiously.

"Sir, maine suna hai ke is mission mein hamaray sath ek or officer kaam kar rahe hain. May I know who he is?", asked Naina.

This came as a surprise for Rajveer. After meeting her ex-husband after three years, she is asking about another man, not her ex-husband. What does she have in mind? A little frustration was evident on Rajveer's face.

"Kyun janna chahti hain aap?", Rajveer asked. There was a ping of jealousy and possessiveness evident in Rajveer's voice.

"sir", Naina spoke, "wo mere sath kaam karne walay hain, so, I think I need to know about him."

Rajveer was quiet for few seconds. He knew he has no reason to question Naina at that time. He was thinking why was he feeling bad when Naina asked him about another man? Does he really care anymore? Does he really love her even today?

Knowing that he has no reason to object her questions, he spoke, "Yes, Captain. Unh officer ka naam hai Captain Rathod. Wo bus aatay hi hoonge."

As soon as Rajveer finished his sentence, he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!". said Rajveer

Opening the door, Captain Rathod walks in. Walking straight towards Rajveer, Captain Rathod salutes him and says, "Captain Rathod, reporting si.."

Captain Rathod wasn't able to complete his sentence as soon as he looked towards Naina's direction. Rathod was speechless. He hasn't sees a lady who is as beautiful as Naina. A smile came on Rathod's lips.

This didn't go un noticed by Rajveer. Rajveer's hands turned into a fist automatically. His facial expresions changed. What the hell was Rathod doing with his ex-wife. That's right "Ex, but, why was Rajveer feeling so bad?

"You are beautiful!", said Rathod. More like the words came out from his mouth automatically looking at Naina.

This came as a shock for Naina. "Sorry?", Naina asked out of confusion. She felt a little uncomfortable.

Realizing what he said, Rathod tried to cover up his sentence, "II-mean, he spoke putting his hand forward towards her for a handshake, "Hi, I am Captain Yuvraj Rathod, but you can call me Yuvi!"

Getting up from her seat, Naina walked towards Yuvi and shook his hand while she said with a smile, "Hello My name is Captain Naina Singh Aaluwalia, but you can call me Naina!"

This came as a surprise for Yuvi. Is she Major Rajveer's ex-wife? What could have been the reason behind their divorce?

Surprisingly, Yuvi asked while still shaking her hand, "Oh aap hain Major Rajveer ki wife?"

"EX-wife", Naina interrupted,

"Great!". Yuvi said with a smile

"what?", Naina asked looking a bit confused.

"N-nothing, I mean nice to meet you Naina!", Yuvi said with a smirk on his face.

Rajveer was watching all this. He was burning with anger. Why couldn't he see someone flirting with his ex-wife? What made him madder was when Naina added "ex in her statement. Was Naina really embarrassed of their relationship that she has to correct Rathod?

He saw Naina and Yuvi were still looking at each other while Yuvi was not ready to leave Naina's hand. And what Rajveer made madder that Naina was not protesting against Yuvi. She was just starring at Yuvi with a smile.

Getting up from his chair, Rajveer spoke in anger, "Captain Rathod, aap Captain Aaluwalia ka hath chod saktay hain."

This drags both Yuvi and Naina's attention. Yuvi immediately let go off Naina's hand.

"Sorry, sir!", said Yuvi in embarrassment as he looked down. Avoiding further embarrassment, Yuvi said, "sir, I have an important work to do, may I leave?"

"Of course, Captain!", said Rajveer with a smile.

Yuvi left from there right away, but not before giving a smile to Naina, while she reciprocated.

Naina was still looking in Yuvi's direction when a Rajveer's voice dragged her attention.

"wo chale gayye hain Captain Aaluwalia", said Rajveer with no emotions on his face while his voice was reflecting his anger.

Naina immediately looked at Rajveer and got up from her seat and said, "Sir, I think ab mujhe bhi jana chahiye."

She turned around to go when Rajveer spoke from the back, "ignore karne ki koshish kar rahi ho mujhe tum?"

"Sorry sir?", asked Naina while turning around.

Rajveer just looked at Naina for few seconds with anger. He knew he cannot talk to her like that right now. And why is he talking like this? Does he really care if she ignores him or not?

"I mean", Rajveer said, "jatay jatay ye coffee ka khali cup leti jayye or orderly ko dedi jiyega."

This surprised Naina. Why would he say that to her? Is he insulting her? She is not his servant. This is not her work.

"Sorry sir..ye kaam mera nahi hai", said Naina giving him an attitude.

"kyun bura laga?", asked Rajveer with a smirk, "pehle bhi toh tum mujhe coffee bana ke deti thi or yahan tak ke wo khali coffee cup wapis bhi le jati thi, to ab kya hua?"

This was it for Naina. A tear dropped from her eyes, which didn't go un-noticed by Rajveer. This is what he wanted, he wanted to hurt her and insult her. Seeing that, a smile came on his lips. Was he really smiling? Or was he just showing It to her?

Without answering, Naina just took the empty cup of coffee and went outside with anger. She was hurt, hurt to the core. Why was he doing this to her? He is the who who said to keep their personal matter aside, yet, he is doing all this. What the hell does he want? Why is he insulting her?

Flashback ends

A tear dropped from Naina's eye thinking about the incident that took place. Wiping her tear, she walked towards Payal and saw payal was sleeping peacefully. Smiling a little, Naina kissed Payal. Naina turned the lights off and after few minutes, she drifted off to sleep.

I am really sorry that I have not been able to update soon! Actually, my main aim right now is to finish the SS "Bharoosa-I Believe in You". Just 2 or 3 more parts of that SS and it shall be done!
After that, I will concentrate on this fan-fiction!
