It is hard for me as a reader to fully grasp the relationship between Nina and Arnav so I assume it will be harder for the new wife. The next few weeks or the chapters you write will determine how this relationship is headed because misunderstandings are bound to crop up with other characters in the fray. Perhaps this is also needed for Khushi to come closer to her husband. Arnav has shades of grey which is something I love to see in characters. The predictable ones are so boring 😊

I have a suggestion - can you draw up a cast of characters after the index of this story? The two-name characters are confusing (for me) as I prod along.

Hiya from a silent reader. Chapter 6 reminded me of a novel, I read decades back. Sharatchandra chattopadhyay' Shesh Prashn explores the same issues of freedom to choose, freedom to feel. Nina is a strong character and it would be intetesting to see her relationship with Khushi.

Wonderful update
Loved it too much
But not getting Arnav and Nina's relation
Is she only a friend or something else in good sence of corae
Arnav's point of view about life and marriage was good
Let's see what Arnav and Khushi's conversation brought for their future
Want to know how will be their married life ahead
Waiting for next update eagerly

A favorite author of mine, right in the alley of Tagore. Of course, I haven't read the said story you reference. I'll catch up on the same. Always love recommendations, so thanks for that.

Glad you like Nina's characterization.

And thanks for breaking your silence to write to me.

Arnav and Kushi are the only ones with two names. Otherwise. everyone else have been addressed with one name only. I will write up an index when I get time.

Thanks for the suggestion.

"We seek permanence in everything impermanent."
"It's just that belonging to someone isn't the same as sharing a sense of belonging with the other"

Our logical mind is cognisant of this, yet we are unable to live these truths. So much hurt could be done away with.
