Part 28

Roli was excited...

Why not.. the tension giving exams got completed...

Roli: Siddhant.. i wish to go out for a film today...

Siddhant: Ok.. as you wish...

Roli rushed towards her parents...

Roli: Pappa.. my exams got finished & i wish to watch a movie...

Jamanlal: of course enjoy dear...

Roli: Thanks pappa...

Roli waved bye to her parents & rushed towards her car...

After few minutes drive.. they reached the theatre...

Roli booked 2 tickets...

She went inside and sat on one of the seat...

The next seat she left for Siddhant...

The people who came was wondering why she left 1 seat empty...

One ask her too...

Stranger: Why you left that seat... is someone going to come...

Roli: its for me only.. you have any problem??? i got 2 tickets too...

He kept quiet...

The cinema started...

Roli started seeing the movie...

There were romantic scenes in the movie...

Roli looked at Siddhant & blushed...

When she looked at the previous row..

Lovers were on the corner seat..

The girl was leaning on his shoulder.. while his hands were around her shoulder...

Roli looked at them which was noticed by Siddhant too...

Roli diverted her mind towards the cinema...

But the wish to be on his shoulder pop inside her mind...

Roli never tried to go near her...

Infact Siddhant hardly accepted to be on her bed... but he never came near her...

She was not aware.. is it possible for them to even touch each other...

Roli by corner of her eyes looked at Siddhant...

His hands were kept in the arm rest..

Roli decided to make a try to see whether she is able to touch him...

Roli slowly forward her hand towards his hand...

But when he touch his hand...

Her hands went through his hand and her hand rested on the arm rest...

Siddhant noticed that...

Roli swiftly took her hand... which was again known to Siddhant...

Siddhant; Roli.. what happened???

Roli: Nothing Siddhant...

Roli understood its not practically possible for her to touch him...

She removed the wishes popping inside her mind and diverted her attention towards the movie...

After movie.. they had dinner outside and returned home...

Siddhant knows she is disturbed though she pretend to be normal...

Siddhant felt bad.. though they love each other.. she is not even able to hold his hand...

Roli changed to her night dress & came to bed...

Roli looked around for Siddhant who was missing...

Roli: Siddhant.. Siddhant...

No response...

Roli; Where he might have went...

Roli lay down on the bed & closed her eyes...

Suddenly... she felt like something caressing her cheeks..

Roli slowly opened her eyes...

Siddhant wish a smile was holding a flower on his hand...

He was caressing her cheeks with that flower..

Roli smiled...

Siddhant: I am sorry Roli...

Roli: Sorry for what???

Siddhant: I know you wish to hold my hands.. while...

Roli: Siddhant.. i accept.. i got little disturbed seeing those romantic scene & the lovers in the front row... but that doesn't mean.. you should say sorry to me...

Siddhant: You were unable to hold my hand.. so thought of touching you atleast with the flower & bring this...

Roli think for a while...

Roli: Siddhant when you can hold the flower & other things.. then why cant you touch me...

Siddhant: I dont know Roli.. i never tried to touch anyone...

Roli: Never ever try too to touch anyone... you can touch me alone.. ok...

Siddhant smiled...

Roli took the flower from his hand...

Siddhant forward his hand towards her cheeks..

He caresses her cheeks...

Roli felt like the cool breeze is caressing her cheeks...

Roli smiled...

Her blushing cheeks clarified Siddhant that she can feel his touch...

Siddhant moved towards her cheeks & placed a kiss on her cheeks...

Roli felt like the breeze is hitting her cheeks gently...

Roli: Siddhant... thank you..

Siddhant smiled...

Days were passing...

Roli completed her studies...

Jamanlal & Meena called Roli to talk with her...

Jamanlal: ROli.. now your studies got finished...

Roli: Yes pappa.. finally i finished it successfully...

Jamanlal: With that happiness.. we wish to add more happiness...

Roli: More happiness!!!

Meena: Yes Roli.. we started getting alliance for you.. we wish to get your marriage arranged...

Roli: What??? my marriage..

Jamanlal: Yes Roli.. its your right age to get married & settle in your life...

Roli: Sorry pappa.. i am not ok for any marriage arrangments...

Meena: Why are you telling like that ROli???

Roli: I am telling as i cant marry anyone...

Jamanlal: What do you mean you cant marry anyone!!!

Roli: Pappa.. please dont ask me anything.. just understand that i cant marry...

Meena: Roli.. you cant marry means.. we should know the reason Roli... you are our only daughter.. wont we wish to see your marriage & later our grand children...

Roli: I can understand.. i am not telling your wish is wrong.. in the same time.. i am not in a position to marry anyone...

Jamanlal: ROli... we are not going to arrange against your wish... you go through the boys details.. we will arrange your marriage only with the boy you select...

Roli: Pappa... i cant select any of the boys...

Meena: ROli.. we never compelled you.. we gave full freedom to you... But that doesn't mean.. you can do whatever... at times you need to hear our words too...

Roli: Mom.. i am not trying to disrespect you both or go against your words... but its my position...

Jamanlal: Roli.. are you loving someone.. if yes.. do tell us.. we are not against love.. we will get that boy itself married to you...

Roli: Pappa... i dont know what to tell you.. you cant get me married pappa...

Meena: Roli.. please talk clearly.. are you in love with someone...

Roli nod her head as acceptance...

Jamanlal: If yes. then what is the problem in telling his details.. let him be anyone.. we are ready to get you married with him...

Roli: Pappa.. why cant you understand.. yes i agree i am in love.. but you can never get me married to him...

Meena: Roli you are trying to confuse us.. why it is so??? does he cheated you and left...

Roli: no mom... we cant see such nice person in this world...

Jamanalal: OMG.. ROli.. let him be anyone.. tell us about his details.. we will talk to him...

Roli: you cant talk to him pappa...

Meena: Roli.. dont test our patience.. now you are going to tell about him or not...

Roli: Ok.. there is no use of hiding this anymore... he is here only... but you cant talk to him...

Jamanlal: Here only!!! where???

Roli looked at Siddhant.. who was beside her...

Roli: here just beside me... Siddhant.. reveal your presence to them...

Siddhant took the tea cups which was on the tray and gave to Jamanlal & Meena...

Both were shocked...

Jamanlal: Roli.. what is this??? Is he some magician??? how is he invisible...

Roli: Pappa... let me tell you completely.. then only you can understand...

Meena: What it is???

Roli: You both remember someone protecting me since my childhood...

Jamanlal: Yes we know...

Roli: Its my Siddhant only...

Meena: What???

Roli started narrating about Siddhant while Jamanlal & Meena were sitting speechless...

Roli showed Jamanlal & Meena the photos she took...

Mango tree where their names were marked...

The Rock which was holding their statue...

Then showed the photos of their room...

Also took them to her room & showed their photos...

Roli: Pappa.. Mom.. look at Siddhant.. how handsome he is...

Jamanlal & Meena dd't told anything and went out of her room...

Roli kept back the photo and went to hall...

She saw her parents sitting speechless in the sofa...

Roli: Now i think you both can understand.. why i cant marry...

Jamanlal; Roli... first of all.. i need to thank him... yes.. its because... he save you from so many instances like fire accident.. in the lab like places...

Roli smiled looking at Siddhant...

Jamanlal: Also Roli... i feel very bad about the end you both faced in your previous birth... The king was was not suppose to do that... it ruined two lives as well as the kingdom itself...

Roli got tears...

Jamanlal: I definitely feel pity on you both.. specially Siddhant.. who killed himself for his love.. while King & Prince used to do countless marriages too on those days...

Roli wipe her tears & smiled...

Jamanlal; Its something great.. he was waiting for you for hundreds of years & came to you when you took birth... He was always with you protecting you like a shield...

Roli nod her head as acceptance...

Jamanlal: But Roli.. All these doesn't justify your decision...

Roli: Pappa...

Jamanlal; Roli... whatever happened in the previous birth belongs to previous birth only... Now you have taken next birth & you got your own life... its not correct that you wish to live the life of previous birth...

Roli: Pappa.. what are you talking???

Jamanlal: Roli.. not only you.. but we all might have taken previous births.. i might have lived with someone.. your mother might have lived with someone.. it got no link with this birth.. in this birth.. we both got married & living together... You should understand this fact...

Roli: Pappa... you may be right about your life.. but mine is not like that pappa.. i am born for Siddhant pappa...

Jamanlal: Roli.. in case.. if he too took rebirth.. then he might have lived marrying someone & you might have accepted the life decided by us right...

Roli: But its not the case of ours pappa... he is still waiting for me only...

Jamanlal: Roli... i agree all your emotions.. but that doesn't make out your life...

Roli: Pappa.. dont tell like that...

Jamanlal; Roli.. for me.. i am concerned about my daughter life.. how can you live with a ghost...

Roli: Please dont tell him ghost... he is my Siddhant pappa...

Jamanlal: Roli... You might have accepted him & treat him as your Siddhant.. but he is ghost only by himself & in others eyes.. just tell me.. can you marry him??? can you live with him??? can you get children??? can you go out with him??? Of course you can go out.. but others will think you are going alone.. am i wrong???

Roli: Pappa.. Please dont talk like this... i know none of these are possible.. but still i love him...

Jamanlal: Roli.. now in the spell of love.. everything will be felt good.. but when you see even your friends & others together with their husband & children.. you will feel bad yourself... Can you tell everyone about your story & tell others ghost is your husband.. Its all not practically easy Roli.. He cant give any sort of happiness to you.. hope you understand...

Roli: Pappa.. Physical pleasure alone wont matter in the life...

Jamanlal: I am sorry Roli.. As i said.. you will be ok with everything now.. but later you will feel bad for sure...

Roli: No pappa.. you have mistaken...

Jamanlal: Roli... i dont want to hurt you.. that is the reason.. i am talking softly with you till now... please dont test my patience... Please think well & try to understand out points...

Her parents went to their room...

Roli was sitting speechless...

Jamanlal & Meena started seeing alliance suitable for Roli...

Roli tried her best to explain them.. but they were adamant with their own points...

Roli was crying...day & night...

Siddhant looked at all these happenings...

Siddhant think well about the points told by Roli father...

As a father.. his points were very much valid...

Siddhant knows.. even in the cinema theatre.. she was not even able to hold his hand...

What sort of happiness.. he can give her...

Being her parents.. their wish is very correct...

Siddhant went to Jamanlal room...

He took a paper & started writing in it...

Jamanlal & Meena were shocked seeing the pen writing automatically in the paper...

After it stopped writing... they went near the paper...

'Can you help me in getting my soul leave this world.. Please...'

Jamanlal: I think you are around somewhere here.. does this mean.. you wish to go from this world leaving my daughter to live her life...

the pen started writing again...

'Yes.. i dont want to be hindrance on her life...anymore...'

Jamanlal: Thank you.. thanks a lot.. happy that you understood what i told... surely i will contact pandit & do whatever to make your soul leave this world...

Jamanlal immediately contacted pandit...

He took his appointment & went to meet him...

Jamanlal: Panditji.. there is a soul which is still living in this earth as its wishes were not fulfilled.. is there anyway to send the soul to heaven...

Pandit: Sure.. there are ways... we need to do special pooja for that... Then its possible...

Jamanlal; can you please arrange for that pooja..

Pandit: Sure.. we can do it on coming Sunday...

Siddhant too was with Jamanlal & heard their conversation...

Siddhant went back to Roli...

Roli: Siddhant where you went.. i was searching for you...

Siddhant: I was here only Roli.. just went outside for sometime...

Roli: Siddhant.. why your face is dull... are you worried about whatever happening... dont worry.. i wont let anyone to marry me.. i am yours Siddhant...

Siddhant gave a weird smile...

Siddhant was waiting for that Sunday...

Jamanlal & Meena got up early & went to meet Pandit who arranged for the pooja...

Siddhant too went to the place while Roli was still sleeping...

Pandit: Who is that soul.. do you have any photo or anything...

Jamanlal showed Siddhant photo to the pandit...

Pandit kept it in the pooja & started chanting mantras...

Siddhant remembered the moments they shared all these days...

Slowly he felt like his wishes.. his waiting of all these years are satisfied by Roli being together with him all these days...

What more is required by him...

Now whatever required is Roli's happiness..

Siddhant accepted the pooja and become ready to quit this world...

Siddhant appeared in Roli room for a moment...

Roli was still sleeping like flower in the bed...

Siddhant went near her face & kissed...

The very next moment.. he was pulled out of this world towards heaven...

Jamanlal & Meena came back home completing the pooja...

Pandit did told them that their pooja gave its desired result...

Jamanlal & Meena were happy about it...

In the meantime.. they were not sure how to handle Roli...

They know Roli wont take this so easy...

But still they got no other way...

More than Roli treating a ghost as her life partner.. its better to handle her for some days in grief...

Then automatically she will change her mind to accept the life arrange by her parents...

Roli wake up & looked around for Siddhant...

Roli: Siddhant.. Siddhant... where are you???

Roli thought he might have gone somewhere like other day...

She fresh up herself and came out...

when she was combing her hair...

She saw a paper on the table...

Roli: What is that paper...

Roli rushed towards the table...

Roli eyes widened in shock...

She sat on the sofa speechless...

'Roli... your Siddhant is leaving this world today...

Just forget whatever happened & lead your life happily...'

Roli: No... No...

Roli shouted...

Jamanlal & Meena rushed towards Roli...

Meena: Roli.. what happened???

Roli was sitting holding the paper with tears...

Jamanlal took the paper & read it...

Jamanlal: Roli.. just relax Roli.. its good.. his soul got its peace after these many years...

Roli: Pappa.. does this mean.. you are aware about this...

Jamanlal: Roli.. its all done as per his wish...

Roli: His wish!!! what are you talking...

Jamanlal bring the paper written by Siddhant & showed Roli...

Roli: How can you all do this.. neither Siddhant.. nor you both understood me.. do you all think if his soul is sent from this world.. i will accept someone else in my life...

Roli started crying...

Jamanlal & Meena tried to consol her...

But was in vain...

Only days were passing while Roli even stopped taking food and was inside her room with tears always...

Roli was unable to bear the grief...

Roli: Siddhant.. how you thought i can be happy without you.. how can you...

Roli was getting sick in his grief...

Jamanlal & Meena felt bad seeing the condition of Roli...

They felt its their wrong decision doing that...

Instead.. atleast she might have been happy with him.. though he was a ghost...

he was a good soul protecting her..

Now they are unable to see Roli in this condition...

Roli stopped taking intake...

One day...

jamanlal & meena were sitting beside Roli...

Jamanlal: Roli.. forgive us Roli.. We didn't do anything to spoil your life..

Roli gave a weird smile...

Roli: pappa.. mom.. i know you both thought of good only for me... but you misunderstood that taking out Siddhant from my life will make me live happily.. which is not even possible in rarest dream...

Meena: Roli.. we are sorry Roli..

Roli: Pappa.. mom.. dont say sorry.. i know how good parents you both are... i wish to get you both only as parents even in my further births...

jamanlal: Roli.. dont talk like that.. nothing will happen to you...

Roli: Pappa.. Siddhant might have reached heaven right.. he will be taking rebirth right...

Jamanlal: He will Roli.. dont think all those now.. now your health is more important...

Roli: Pappa.. mom.. can i ask you both something...

jamanlal: What it is Roli???

Roli: I wish you both give birth to me again.. will you both do this for me...

Meena: Roli.. why are you talking about rebirth now.. nothing will happen to you...

Roli: Mom.. just promise me... i wish to become daughter of you both again.. will you please do that...

jamanlal & meena hold her hand with tears...

Roli with a smile closed her eyes forever...
