Roli wore her white coat and walked through the corridor..she was searching for someone in the wards...when she was hit by a nurse.."roli madam you are late"said the nurse "sorry, where is siddhant sir?" Asked roli in a feeble voice.."roli"heard roli from behind.."shit"said roli closing her eyes tightly..and hesitatingly turned back.."sorry sir,I know I'm late"said roli with out lifting her face.."am I going to eat you up?"asked sid..roli looked at him with her frightened eyes.."its okay roli it was your first day, you are excused"said sid relieving roli..roli was so overwhelmed with Sid's talk she gave a broad smile.."come let's do the rounds"said sid and moved from there..while roli followed him silently.."so roli no need to feel shy or hesitant about anything be the same comfortable as you feel at home"said siddhant..roli in her thoughts'i feel my home to be a cage, I have never felt comfortable there" thought roli..roli and siddhant did their rounds.."so roli I want you to be confident when you talk when you walk and when you counsel a patient,don't be hesitant when you speak not even with patients and not even with me"said sid ..roli nodded yes and kept silent.."and no need to be afraid of me..do I look so horrible?"asked sid "no sir"said roli quickly "then? Why so scared?"asked sid..roli nodded no and remained silent."hmm its okay, you will get to know in few days I'm not so strict that you just talk in YN language"said sid..roli looked at him confused.."ohh sorry YN is yes or no language"explained sid "ohh"said roli and again remained silent..sid sighed"you will be okay in few days"said sid patting her back and moved forward..he explained her work and also took her to each and every patient teaching her how to manage them..roli admired his teaching skills and also his patience while talking to patients.."so roli now we have completed the rounds let's go and see out patients"said sid and took her to a big room where so many people were gathered all together..that room led to a small room which had three chairs and one table..he asked roli to sit on one chair and he occupied the one next to her .just observe how the patient comes and what you should observe "said sid while roli nodded yes, he commented on patients..which was audible to only roli about the important points to be noticed in patients and how to look for the diseases. Roli listened to him keenly..after they finished all the out patients, siddhant asked her to go to wards and see to the patients which will increase her skills..roli obeyed and went to the wards..roli was happy and excited.."ohh my god siddhant sir is so cool, I thought he being such a great doctor must be an attitude guy..but he is so good"thought roli and walked to the ward..she did her work and finally came to the room which was allotted for duty doctor and head nurses.. She went inside and settled down on a chair.."so madam how was your first day?"asked the nurse with whom she collided in the morning.."roli smiled"it was good"said roli with a smile.."madam my name is shwetha"she introduced.."nice to meet you shwetha"said roli forwarding her hand.."same here madam, I m the head nurse of this department, you can come to me for anything related to this department"said shwetha.."okay"said roli with a wide smile.."friends?"asked shwetha "sure"said roli "so you finished your work mam?"asked shwetha"yes finished"said roli.."I felt you were scared of sddhant sir"said shwetha chuckling "yes I was"said roli honestly "well you don't need to..he is a sweetheart"said shwetha "true..he surely is"confessed roli "let's leave for home then"said shwetha and they both came down.. roli saw gautham waiting for her..she rushed to him and hugged him.."how was your exam?"asked roli."it was great didi..and how was your first day?"asked gautham"it was awesome gautham "said roli climbing the bike..she was so happy that she kept on blabbering about all the incidents all her way .
