With the same look on her face Shefali was standing beside her face "THE ARJUN SINGHANIA...THE CAPTAIN OF INDIAN CRICKET TEAM"

Arohi groaned gritting her teeth "yes and will u guys please stop shouting...I don't want to be topic of everyone's discussion just yet"

Shefali sighed and sat on chair beside her "he is so hot...u r so lucky, Aru!"

"yeah...! u are going to make so many girls envy u" Prachi said in an equal dreamy voice...

Arohi had a strong urge to slap both of them but she controlled herself and passed a fake smile...She looked at Danish who was standing with rather a grumpy face...

"What happened Dhondhu?" she asked making him come out of his reverie...

"nothing.." he cleared his throat "umm...Arohi don't u think it's very early...don't get me wrong..u r just 20 and still studying...u have lot of dreams to fulfil and this marriage and all..it's all a big responsibility"

Arohi smiled at him "I know Dhondhs but it's not like m leaving college after marriage. I will complete my studies and fulfil my dreams...nothing is going to change and moreover Papa wants it"

Dhondhu reluctantly nodded with a forced smile "congratulations then"

"Shit Aru..." Shefali shrieked making all of theirs attention fixed on her...

Arohi raised her eyebrows in question...

"no we can't drool on him in front of u...he is going to be our jiju" she said sadly making everyone burst into laughter...

Arohi pulled her in a side hug..."it's ok Shefu...u can drool. I won't mind" getting jealous over that beast is the last thing she would ever do

Everything accelerated really quick after her yes...Once she said yes it was like some festival at her home. Singhania's sent the shagun very next day and now after 4 days she along with Shefali was waiting for Arjun and his mom to arrive as they were supposed to do shopping for their engagement. And this is going to be second time she was meeting Arjun. She was scared that would be an understatement. She didn't even to think how he is going to behave with her as she said even after his warning. Maybe he will behave in front of her mother. She prayed there is no single moment today where she had to be alone with him.

Looks like her prayer went unheard as she found herself standing alone with him in jewelry shop as his mother went to next shop to buy some gifts for guests and took Shefali along with her. She tried her best to stop them or take them along but they left her telling to spend some quality time with her would be husband.

Arohi looked at him gathering some courage and found his intense glare already at her. Ever since he has arrived he had been giving her those glares making her more scared...

Before she could move away from him he held her elbow and dragged her behind a pillar in corner where no one could see them.

"What the hell u think of urself? huh!" he hissed pressing her harshly on pillar...

She winced with pain n tried saying something but he applied more force on her arm "I clearly told u to say NO."

"Arj..."

"No!! Don't even take my name from ur filthy mouth. I should have known the cunning girl behind this innocent face. By feigning this fake innocence u trapped my father but u won't be able to trap me. U r nothing but a gold-digger. I will give u as much money as u want...I will give u so much money u won't even have dreamt of it...just say no to this marriage..."

Plan hurt flashed through her face at his words...how can he think so low of her? He is such a self-righteous jerk.

"come on...say ur price" he gritted his teeth.

"I can't say No..""Leave me" Arohi cried but it had no effect on him...

He gave a sarcastic laugh "Why would u say no for few bucks when u can have a life full of luxury!"

"u r hurting me" she wiggled under his hold..

He dug his nails more into her flesh "this is just beginning Arohi Ahluwalia...u will regret ur decision big time!" he left her with a jerk and walked towards his mom and Shefali whom he had seen entering...

Tears pricked in her eyes but she composed...What had she gotten herself into? This man is a monster.

Arohi came and stood beside Shefali forcing a smile on her face. She had loosen her dupatta covering the bruises she got due to his tight hold...Shefali playfully nudged her "romancing behind pillar...huh" she teased making Arohi glare at her.

"so guys liked any ring?" his mother asked affectionately. Arohi couldn't understand how someone so sweet like her can have this arrogant son...She had developed an instant liking for her mother in law.

Before she could reply...the monster spoke "what to do Mom...ur daughter in law is not liking anything...all these diamonds are too small for her liking...she wants something more magnificent...more expensive" he taunted in sugary sweet voice so that no other gets hint...

"No aunty...It's actually ur son...who wants all this...I am very happy with a simple ring but he doesn't do simple after all he is the captain of Indian Cricket Team! Everything is about his reputation" she taunted back in equal sweet voice...

His mother shook her head "u guys are already thinking about each other's choices" she said in awe not understanding the taunting game going on..."come let's choose one ring...after that we have to finalize ur outfits too"
