Still busy on the job search front Been a stressful time and in the end the opportunity didn't work out and I changed my mind so I'm hoping for better things meanwhile I need something to take my mind off it all so be writing when I can.

I warn you guys its almost like a super mini/ teaser chapter but I hope you enjoy it and provides a bit of relief for those who have been waiting for a while. i'll be writing again later today not sure if it will be on this or expectations i feel inclined to write expectations seen as it will be a one shot.

Chapter 3

It was incredibly early in the morning for a Sunday morning but Raizada house had grand wedding to take care of and this early morning was no ordinary early morning it was also a morning that had news.

"Hamd Divyani ji se mil kar aate hai, tum Arnav ji se baat kar lo.." (I'll go share the news with naniji, you talk to Arnavji.)

Said Shashi Gupta to his daughter in an excited but measured voice along with the bags of wedding prep they carried into Raizada house.

Khushi was a bit surprised by the way her father had just left her to it but maybe it was for the best. She watched him walk away whilst she looked around the lounge and happen to catch sight of a very handsome view so to speak.

The garden was being decorated at Raizada house and by non other than Arnav Singh Raizada himself with the help of the Prakash brothers saw Khushi from this side of the glass.

She had always been a confident sort of girl but this gave her butterflies, he gave her butterflies. She fiddled with her hands a little and then decided to approach.

For some reason it seemed like things weren't working outdoors for Arnav and the Prakash bothers, there seemed to be bother with the lighting to the extent that they had screws and bolts open with Hp and OP doing as they were told even if it was holding bits of wire tiresomely in place she didn't know he was a mechanic as well as a businessman.

"Oh am I glad to see you, tell me you have spare set of these" he found time to smile even though he seemed irritated she liked that about him and it was easier to say what she wanted if he wasn't paying complete attention.

I do, and that wasn't just a yes about the lighting that was yes to his proposal. He wasn't to know that but she swallowed slightly nervously he hadn't caught on. He wouldn't silly it made no sense.

"Mr Raizada ..." She said to get his attention and he looked up with those eyes that had mesmerized her in the first place.

"It's a yes.." she said with her eyes to floor before him dressed a little more traditionally today because she was soon to be his wife if he still wanted her to be that was.?

"I'd like to be your wife if you'll have me that is.."

Agar aap kabul kare toh ham aap ki patni bana pasand karenge.

He was speechless, how could anyone be so perfect or how was he of all people so lucky. In that moment he saw her innocence, her beauty her elegance and most of all her heart.

"I would be honored" - he replied with overwhelm in his eyes and his heart which Khushi was sure she could feel from where she was stood. In that one moment they both felt unnaturally blissful, his smile and her inability to hide her joy made conversation but before they could overcome their own feelings was others joy audible to them.

The noise from within the house told them that this conversation was being had elsewhere to.

"I've made this awkward haven't I ..?" he said as they both could feel an audience.

She didn't want to say yes but it was a little .

Out of instinct he felt like was about to hold upon her in some way but just as he is about to place his hands on her shoulders he realizes that his hands are in no state for that. They were stained from his attempt at fixing the lighting which Khushi saw too. The last thing he wanted to do was stain that beautiful dress she was wearing.

It was a blessing in disguise an excuse to go somewhere more private.

He washed his hands under the tap in the Kitchen where it was just the two of them and she passed him a towel when he was done.

Why did he look at her like that it was just courtesy but it could also be noted as something more seen their relationship status had changed now.

They were comfortable however she smiled and he thanked her.

"So would you like for me to court you or would you like to do this the traditional way?"

The moment he asked her this, she looked at up at him and knew she had made the right choice. It took her a moment because she wanted to use the right words.

"I think I would like for it to be a little more traditional if that is okay with you?"

He was a little surprised because what girl in this day and age didn't want to date before marriage but than this quirkiness is probably what they both shared it seemed.

"Aaap ko ajeeb lagta hai" (Do you think its strange?) she said as she stood on the other side in between them the god dam lighting that had been causing problems all day.

"That I don't want to date you?"

What he thought about it at this point was that he was happy to see that every time he seemed to interact with her now she seemed to have slight blush about her because he felt the spark in his own way too around her not that a man like Mr Raizada let that on course and she knew that. He liked her otherwise they would never had got this far she just wanted to know if he had judged her yet. He turned her way as they both held the lighting still..

In his opinion it could have been a lot of things.

"Nahin." - he always spoke like a gentleman she admired that.

"It could be that you are nervous. Or it could be that you are unsure about me given the abrupt nature of this which I'm to blame for anyway or it also could be that you are a little more traditional than you let on or maybe it's a combination of all these but I think you know what you are doing Miss Gupta."

Astonished she was at her luck, not only was he handsome, a gentleman but he was able to read her better than she would ever be able to given a magnifying glass. !

Hame aise kyun lagta hai hame asmaya ja raha ? (Why do I feel like you are testing the waters..)

Because I am.. she said with intending eyes because that was exactly what she was doing. it was unfair that Mr Raizadas flair for observation gave him such a clear picture of her but she knew very little about him.

Oh my! how more cute can they get! for a couple whose most interactions (in serials or ff) are mostly started on a fiery note...this is like a parallel universe...in a good way...actually very good way! thanks a ton for giving me this sweet memory to think f dem by...

Sweet gestures from both side, approaching the marriage with their maturity along little bud of love flower to bloom up.

Khushi has surprised ASR with her decision to get married instead of Dating for few days .

they are soo cute..both are just awesome..loved the update..loved their cute conversation ..
