"Kelambu raja... u have to go for rehearsal, and then get ur hair trimmed come home take a shower and go right back out for picking out your Navaratri lehanga at Nalli"

II's CALENDAR for Nivi is full, packed but Nivi's OUTLOOK doesn't support it. 😊
Makes me wonder about II's cribbing to Mrs.Iyer for being so tough on her when it came to her own paatu lessons. The thing continues with Nivi too . She understands and pitches for Nivi to opt out of it silently but when you are met with a No from the Guru I think it's all about adhering to the discipline required to harnessing that skill . II feels bound by that expectation of discipline and also a kind of reverence for the Guru, I think to tow the line though half heartedly inspite of struggling to go along with the flow .

II is still struggling caught somewhere between reverence and generational
Shift. It's interesting. It would be interesting to see what Nivi does later when it's her time to make such kind of decisions. Sport and art are two Disciplines that demands a lot of discipline almost to a point where your reserves are tested , hating it at times that you end up wanting to quit and give it away.

80's takes me to this actress Shobhana. I felt there was something divine about her beauty, more the classical kind. Pretty decent height, Beautiful eyes ethereal For a brief while I remember trying to give her face and structure to II , but when some of our friends here attached Matt Bomer to dude, I think that face to II somehow slithered away from my imagination. Yes it's nostalgia

He is definitely notvillainizing his dad. But has a soft corner for dad and definitely think different than Ranjan and Sam. He thought it was his decision to talk to II and II's parents to make the wedding decision. He didn't appreciate Ranjan asking II's parents. Given the same logic, he wants Manny to make her own decision. He wants her to make the call and be happy. But also believes Ranjan will accept her decision. Lets wait and see.

The problem is the approach Jas. I was neither a fan of his approach then nor am I fan of now of approach of manny's. Especially when there's a lot of freedom they exercise. Can you associate freedom with responsibility as far as Manny's concerned. It's more an announcement that he did when it came to him and II. He infact Suspected his Dad of approaching DII for himself given the scandal when vandu told him at his office. I doubt if he would have been that irritated if savvy had been there and gone to DII to ask for II's hand in marriage to him.
Its the same announcement or information that Manny gave to her family that's a hitch. It's more like 'please be informed' kind of an office memo. Trashing people when ones met with resistance I don't agree especially when you have not had a conversation
No doubt it's your decision and has got to be yours finally But if you do care a bit for elders there's no harm in the approach of taking them along in your decision or atleast try to instead of saying to Manny you shouldn't be bothered about what Dad thinks anyways. I don't subscribe to that as having a soft corner for him

Possessive dude...
Don't we all know that side of him
But it's good to see a possessive dad
Our fire cracker getting old but on style and yes that sparkle in her eyes still intact...

Perhaps Makarand left the army and has joined Manya in Sydney and Ranjan could have gone to help Manya with her baby.

Could be possible as Ranjan has experience of raising II and dude's four kids

Matt Bomer 😳 I miss Shevane's Bomer pics :)
Funny - I "tried" to explain to my teen kids why amma's eyes pauses longer at Matt Bomer, Anderson Cooper et al. After many unsuccessful attempts, I said i think smarter looking men decide to turn gay !!! Guess what - I had a earful how they "dont decide to turn gay" and come out of the closet on "National Coming Out" day.
Sorry Kalpana to hijack your review to something else. When i saw Matt Bomer, I couldnt stop thinking about this incident 😆
Soon II & R&B will be put to task with all sorts of questions. 😆

Vikas you are right IIAnd R&ab s babies are mine and time share with Shilpa has been agreed...it was not a tender but a request from the heart which worked the magic. All the best to those claiming Manyas babies.
