Rnb always feel his own grief and losses,but its difficult for him to feel others.appa's youngest got a chance to sing in movies niw he has to accompany her and his grandchild with an arthritic knee n aching body(but he is happy to do all that for his daughter!paavam appa!!!!)as the hubby just flew to paris!!!he didnt inform the fil,didnt express his gratefulness,didnt even come to maayka!!!yeah,this SIL dont talk!!but appa do!!what he said was right thing for me!!!!this hubby can take his own decisions,his own travel n business amendments!!!but always keep a 'silly' feel to what II does!!!!
Paavam II,she selected her partner.then this husband has extra responsibility to keep the girl's head high at maayka!!but here he is like i will do what i like!!!😭
He is not showing any gratefulness to iyers and now will take all his irritation to II!!!
Yeah,u gave her chance.but its her talent that is the one which won there!!!

Rnb is not doing the right thing!its ok that he has to attend his business and all!but he need to show some respect to what appa is now doing for II!
We do need to show some gratefulness at some times!afterall that father brought up II so that she is now your wife!!!

Meendum Meendum

II was oblivious to Appa's free legal defense, she was floating ever since Sumati called her that first time,
gently making her way down to the earth whenever she clashed with him, but was able to quickly hoist herself back up and stay afloat

Nivi was much better, Amma and Appa watched her through Sunday night, and Monday morning, Athai and Amma dropped them off at the airport

Her studio appointment for trial recording was Wednesday

Composer meeting Thursday

Lyricist and Music Director and movie Director meeting thursday
She still owed them signed documents with the lawyer signatures

Sumati would have sent it to Delhi on the Monday she was flying out to Chennai

II brushed up difficult Tamil words on her ride

In al this excitement of going to become a singer and heart break of being spoken to so indifferently by R&B she forgot to check on Ranjan on Sunday, and on Monday

Sam texted her while she waited at the gate to wish her good luck even then it didnt occur to her to say a word to Ranjan

They reached Chennai after a delay and layover in Nagpur for 2 hours

It was almost dinner time

When she landed at the airport she realized they had to head to Nungambakkam

Thats when she called Ranjan

He sounded sad but cheerful

He was appreciative of her calling

"Aap R&B ko bata denge?" his phone is turned off" she lied

Tuesday was a fabulous day for her

After a awesome breakfast and listeningt o Tamil radio all morning, they arrived at the studio for the meeting

There was even a couple of press guys that requested a picture

In a day and age of Super Singer and Indian Idol Tamil and half a dozen other talent shows, the fact that someone dug her up and found her in Delhi was nothing short of a miracle

Tamil cinema hired a new singer for every movie, unless u were SP Chitra or Chinmayee you didnt get a second offer

II sang nervously, missing a couple beats but did well

The music director was debut as well a Vee. Selva Kumar the "Vee" a numerology obsession

Ii chuckled and wondered if she should call herself AIEEEYAR or something


Appa brought Nivi to the studio at 3 ish when she was still not done

She didnt call Dude, just texted him Nivi's picture or two during the day

He didnt call or email her...

It nagged her but life at present was a euphoric scintillating journey she chalked it down to a busy husband
II gave her a self guided tour
Appa was atleast 10 kg heavier, swollen with pride

He had already posted 7 pics on his FB page, and called Amma three times

They returned home wearily at after 7

Wednesday was similar

5 AM on Thursday morning Sam was on the internet trying to escape from in laws for a bit, bored, and looking for things to do, she Googled the studio and found an article

"Ishita Iyer to sing for Vijay Sethupathi's lover in Meendum Meendum" (again & Again)

She was thrilled to read the news, it had a jpeg of some Tamil press release she couldnt understand head or tail of

she sent it to R&B

He read it first thing when he woke the "Ishita Iyer" magnified to a 25 font size

"is she no longer married?" he wondered

Feeling a sharp surge of anger mixed with jealousy at being left out completely from wife's impending stardom

I dont like appa's accusations about II's children that she got pregnant early and got 4 children and all.I hate appa when he say so!!!They dont have any economic or health issues.so they r free to have as many as they want!😉and also his comparison of rnb with iyer boys,i dont like!
But here I am with Appa and II!!

Nouf, yes the dude's not acting right , but neither is Appa. When dude's saying he has a fiscal qtr... You cannot be dismissive about that. I agree the the parents see the daughter unhappy that she's not getting the right support, feel for her and are in a state of angst. Dude world have taken better if this came in a refined form from Amma than Appa.
Instead of going all out training his guns, he could have hinted to dude that it would be difficult for II without dude's support ... Instead there was only one person doing the talkng... I get your pointThere's nothing wrong in elders sharing a word of advice for a couple who are not seeing eye to eye on something, but what Appa should mind is that his word of advice should not aggravate the issues.

Seems to be a IF problem. Morning I typed a lengthy review and as I was about to post, it vanished , then I ran out of time and managed to give a small one in the afternoon

I really feel for appa!!!
His youngest daughter got such an oppurtunity and her 'own selection' husband is acting like 'i dont mind'!!!
How he might be feeling, "my child selected her partner without my permission.she is reckless.i dont know how that wealthy guy will look at my kid's career"
It will always remain as a sore point in appa's heart!
Who knows she might end up her singing career for her family's sake?
