"amma I dont want idli" Nivi said stiffly

"thats whats for dinner" II said shortly

"How come Dad doesnt eat idli he eats whatever he wants and u never make him eat idli?" she argued

"Umm... you can eat idli or fix yourself whatever u like" II was furious

"You let him get away with whatever he wants" Nivi said

"Thats enough Nivi" R&B ordered

"daddy I am sorry' Sid said softly

"I know that, lets work on a plan to repay the Grovers" he said

"Rabbba" Ranjan was shocked

"He wont do it again" R&B said tightly

"NO SAAL DA BACHA HAIGA" Ranjan shouted

R&B nodded "old enough to know the difference between good and bad" "I agree" he muttered

"NIVEEE" Ii shouted pissed the girl went up to get Ved and didnt bother coming down

R&B and II looked at each other deeply

"Its just teens" R&B reassured her

II nodded tearfully

Her shoulders slumping

Nivi sent Ved down and didnt eat

II didnt go up to get her

"I can fix her a sandwich" R&B offered being partial to his first child

"VERY UNFAIR" II accused livid

"He accidentally ran over a flower bed and punished him so harshly. She is full of drama and angst for NO REASON"

R&B struggled to make eye contact with his wife... his daughter was precious to him, all his kids were, but inadvertently he had given himself away by expressing his concern for her going to bed hungry...

OMG Nisha you are definitely an antaryaami. Just today I was thinking that it's time Nisha wrote a future and here you are. Seriously this is uncanny. I was thinking that for Nisha to continue this heavy ongoing drama between the couple, a little peek into the happy future would be helpful and reading my mind perfectly you have given us such a lovely future update. Ha ha! It should be more like the Parents Trap, their trials and tribulations, the push , the pull, the anguish when it comes to parenting pre teens and teens and if there's more than one or two that the parents have to handle, then may God be their Glory 😆.
One Drama queen of a mother poking at her daughter for high drama with no reason ha ha , children playing one parent against another and we get sucked in ... get caught playing favouritism...
But it's so difficult to control yourself from shielding the kid when the other parents go hammer and tongs and sometimes it's vice versa with the other parent all protective when you wield the blade ... Ha ha .

It's like I can scold my child but no one else and sometimes that no one includes your spouse too. 😳 we all have our weak moments but as long as there's a balance I guess it's ok.

Imagine the 84 year old Ranjanji pacing the lounge restlessly and coming out in a flash the moment his daughter in law gives a shout out 😆 and dude in tailored trousers , cotton tees and pants...

Sahana made a fleeting appearance in the future update . James and chuck ? What happened to them. They should be 3 / 4 yrs old too.
