Yog was highly irritated at her stern reply & said in an annoyed tone "Anika! tum kyu baat ko samajhne ki koshish nahi kar rahi hoo ... apne gusse aur pagalpann main tum apni hi jaan se khel rahi hoo"

Anika said looking away "wo mera rooz ka kaam hai Yog ... that's part of my duty"

Yog in frustration turned her to himself & said "accha! to subah se un jeb katron ko jo buri tarah maara wo bhi tumhara kaam hoga ... tumhari duty hogi ... right"

Anika looked away as if caught red handed & Yog in more anger turned her again saying "kyu! kya hua ... ab aankhe chura ke baat kyu kar rahi hoo? ... jawaab do"

Anika too replied annoyed "mujhe aapko koi jawaab dene ki zroorat nahi hai"

Yog in anger pinned her tightly on the wall & said in deadly calm tone "Tum kya samajhti hoo apne aap ko ... now listen to me carefully main tumhe is pagalpann main koi bewkoofi karne nahi doonga ... do you even realize wo loog kya kar sakte hai?"

Anika said pushing him back with full force "zayada se zayada maar sakte hai na accha hai ... sukoon hoga ki meri jaan kisi kaam to aayegi ... aur aap mujhe is tarah force nahi kar sakte"

Yog said grabbing her back in anger "of course kar sakta hoon ... aur accha hoga ki tum mujhe aisa karne ke liye majboor mat karo"

Anika gasped in pain when his hands grabbed the bruised spot of her arm tightly. He sensed it & released his hold voicing looking at the wound "tumhe to chot lagi hai"

Anika said irritated "to koi pehli baar nahi lagi hai main kar loongi bandage"

Yog shook his head in disbelieve & started to bandage her arm Anika too had calmed down a bit. After a while Yog said apologizing "I am sorry Anika! ... mujhe aise baat nahi karni chahiye thi par tum samajhti kyu nahi tumhe is waqt alert rehne ki zaroorat hai ... I know maine bewkoofi ki tumhe nahi bata ke but I didn't have a way out main ek doctor hoon aur har haal main mareez ko theek karna mera kaam hai ...

Yadi main wo nahi karta jo maine kiya to jaan bhi jaa sakti thi uski ... Ye jo bhi hua anjaane main hua mujhe nahi maloom tha ki itni si baat ka itna bada tamasha ban jaayega ... maine soocha tha ki jab uska treatment poora ho jaayega main tumhe bata doonga par unfortunately ye sab pehle hi ho gaya"

Anika looked at Yog with glassy eyes & Yog added wiping her tears "ab ye gussa chodo aur relax karo ... aur thoda alert rehna" with that he moved out of the house.

He dialed Dutta's number at the gate & said "Dutta Ji! Anika pe abhi abhi attack hua hai use chot bhi aayi hai aap zara alert rahiye ye loog ye sab dubara na kar paaye"

Dutta replied "Yog Saab! wo loog pakde gaye hai ... Madam ne khud unki bahut buri haalat ki hai ... unko leke zara hospital jaa raha tha aur aap befikar rahiye ab ye loog kuch nahi kar paayenge"

Yog said in stern voice thinking "Dutta ji! inhe zara mere hospital laayiye inhe ab main deal karunga"

Dutta with surprise voiced "Par saab ..."

Yog replied assuring him "aap nischint rahiye kuch galat nahi hoga" after a while Yog reached hospital & Dutta too reached their along with police security.

Dutta took all three of them who attacked Anika in Yog's chamber. Yog dispersed the security outside the room for dressing & closed the door.

Now Yog started in deadly calm tone "tum logo ne hi ACP Anika pe attack kiya tha?"

One of the goon said in attitude "Haan! kiya tha ... teri kuch lagti hai kya jo aise pooch raha hai?"

Yog said turning to Dutta "Kyu Dutta ji ... inhe bataya nahi ki Anika meri kya lagti hai?"

Dutta in a casual tone said "Are tum logo ko nahi pata ... ab wo ACP ANIKA PUROHIT nahi ab to wo ACP ANIKA YOGENDRA VASHISHT hai na aur ye hai Dr. YOGENDRA VASHISHT Anika Madam ke pati"

Goons were first stunned but their leader said "to humko idhar kyu leke aaya?"

Yog said "itni jaldi kya hai batata hoon ..."

He said scanning all three of them "isko diabetes hai ... isko high BP ... aur isko heart problem"

Dutta smiled & understood what he was trying to do & goon said intervening "Par apun ko to aise koi problem nahi hai hai"

Yog said in a deadly calm tone "Nahi hai to ho jaayegi ... mere paas aake to tum vaise hi fas chuke ho ab main tumhara haath kaatu pair kaatu ya fir koi bhi ulti seedhi dava doon koi kuch nahi kahega ...

Yaha tak ki yadi main tumhe maarna bhi chahu to bahut aasani se maar sakta hoon wo bhi aise ke kisi ko khayal tak nahi aayega ki tumhe maara gaya hai"

Goons got terrified & said "nahi! aap aisa nahi kar sakte"

Yog said in a calm voice "kyu nahi kar sakta ... kya lagta hai tumhe ki bahar se pada hua ... bade ghar ka ladka ... doctor ki degree liya ... zaroor bahut seedha saada aur shareef hoga"

Next moment he holds the neck of a goon & said choking his throat "par tum jaise gundo ke liye main maha gunda hoon ... ab ek cheez acche se samajh loo yadi yaha se zinda jaana hai to us MLA ke khilaaf bayan dena hoga ...

Saath hi jo paise unhone tumhe diye hai wo vapis police main dene hoonge saboot ke liye aur uska poora kaccha chitha bhi kholna hoga ... bolo karoge ya fir main apna treatment shuru karun"

Goon with a pale & terrified face "haan saab sab karenge ... bas hume chood do"

Yog gestured Dutta to take their confession & after that Yog in an alarming tone voiced "Yaad rakhna aayinda Anika ke aas paas se bhi guzre to uske kuch bhi karne se pehle tum loog zinda nahi bachoge..."

Turning to Dutta said "inhe le jaaiye Dutta ji aur bahar ward boy se dava lagva dena"

Dutta nodded with a smile & took them along to the Police station thinking "aai shapath ... Yog saab to Anika Madam se bhi zayada khatarnaak hai"

Here Anika was surprised at the confession of the goons & after winding all the things she went back home. After a while Yog too came back & saw gloomy face of Anika & wished her saying "Good Evening!"

Anika didn't responded to his wish & moved to the kitchen to bring some water when Yog pulled her back saying "ab bhi naaraaz ho mujhse?"

Anika said "usse aapko koi farak padta hai? ... aap to wahi karte hai jo aapko sahi lagta hai"

Yog said pulling her in his embrace "mujhe to lagta hai ki tumhe jalan ho rahi thi ... tabhi itna gussa aa raha hai ... ab maan jaao na please itni baar to maafi maang chukka hoon main"

Anika suddenly flared up after this & said "Sorry! humare rishte ka mazaaq banne ke baad aap sorry keh rahe hai aapko andaaza hai ki yadi mujhe ye sab waqt pe pata nahi chalta to kya karti main ... kaise chup karati un ghatiya logo ko ...

kya lagta hai aapko ... Jaanvi ke saath aapko aise dekhkar wo loog aapki baat maan lete ... nahi Yog kabhi nahi maante ... aur main gussa isliye hoon ki aaj aapne mere vishwaas pe chot ki hai ... mujhe lagta tha ki aap mujh pe kam se kam itna vishwaas karte hai ye saari cheezein mujhse share kar sakte hai"

Yog said softly "main jaanta hoon meri galti hai par main tumhe sab kuch batane waala tha aur isliye tumse maafi bhi maangi ab kab tak is baat ko pakad ke baithi rahogi ... ya fir ye sab tumhari jalan bol rahi hai"

Anika hearing this lost her temper completely & yelled "Haan Jalan thi ... aur kyu nahi hogi main aapki patni hoon aur yadi koi aur aapke kareeb aayega to mujhe jalan hogi ... aapko shayad andaaza bhi nahi hai main kitna toot gayi thi aapko aur Jaanvi ko us hotel main dekh ke ...

wo 8 ghante maine kaise kaate hai shayad aap kabhi smaajh nahi paayenge ... aaj tak kisi rishte ko poori tarah apna nahi keh saki main ... aapse shadi ke baad laga jaise mere paas aisa koi hai jo sirf mera hai aur yadi is rishte ke beech koi aayega to mujhe jalan hogi Yog ..." & saying this her eyes became moist.

She wiped tear drops & said in anger again "aapko kya lagta hai Yog ... mujhme jazbaat nahi hai ... aap jab mere kareeb aate hai pyar jatate hai to main wo sab mehsoos nahi karti ... mujhe usse koi farak nahi padta ... bahut farak padta hai shayad ye ehsaas aaj se pehle maine kabhi mehsoos nahi kiya ...

aap to kehte the ki aap meri aankho main dekh ke wo sab dekh sakte hai jo main keh nahi paa rahi to fir aapne wo pyar wo ehsaas kyu nahi dikha meri aankho main ... galti shayad meri hai main hi ye samajh baithi ki aap samajhte hai mere dil ki baat ...

par aaj ye samajh main aa gaya hai ki dil ki baat zubaan pe lana bhi utna hi zaroori hai ... kyuki dil ke rishte dil ki baat zubaan par laane se bante hai ... aapko hamesha mujhse shayad yahi shikayat rahi ki maine kabhi apne dil ki baat nahi kahi aapse ... to theek hai Yog aapki ye zidd bhi main aaj poori kar deti hoon ... haan maanti hoon main ki jalan thi aur is jalan ki vajah mera pyar hai Yog ..."

Wiping her moist eyes again says in a shrill voice "I LOVE YOU" & she slumped back on bed in anger holding her head in her palms.

Wow di wow... aap ne toh kamaal kar di. Its one hell of an update di. Just amazing. Just the bit of flaring up and a childish quarrel I wanted to relish. I wish to call it childish as under the given circumstances, both of them were not fully right or wrong, yet hurling allegations against each other to justify their stand points.

There r few instances jahan aisa laaga ki koi toh baat ko samjho aur khatam karo, still it felt so realistic and natural and definitely not out of place. As we r definitely not dealing with super humans . These r responsible, mature and sensible persons but at the same time not devoid of human emotions.

Both were pressurised due to the situation, one bound by professional secrecy and other by love and duty. If ani's anger seemed baseless and immature then yog too was at fault when he said about "jasoosi". Thanks a lot to jannat for smacking him at the right time otherwise he wouldn't have understood the extent to which ani was hurt. One more thing that i would like to point out here is that its often not the work, but how u do it or the very purpose of doing it decides whether its right or wrong.The motive is very important.

Sometimes it felt that ani is unnecessarily stretching the cause yet it never felt unjustified as we see that she did everything to save yog & his dignity only & not to pry in his privacy.Being a woman she knows it will not take much time to make mole of a mountain, like u said earlier. Moreover in this updt as u said if she didnt investigated thinking yog will open up at the right time, then the reporters would have a gala round spreading gossips and ani couldnt have helped much. Even if she took steps later, still they wouldnt have been this effective as when she back answered them and sent them away in shame.

Actually ani was flabbergasted. If the hotel wasnt raided and yog was not caught then probably the scenario would have been something different. Yog could have opened up himself and ani wouldn't have been this angry and unmanageable.

OMG the MLA, even after all this, trying to strike a blow again. Ani handled them well enough, still it was scary. Wow it seems yog and dutta r teaming up as well. I am amused to get a glimpse of the "maha gunda" side of yog. And dutta's one line was too funny. Even ani was surprised to know that those idiots confessed without any 3rd degree. Bechari usse kya pata unn logoko already 10 degree mil chuke hai. Latho ke bhoot baaton se thori maante hai.

Ah...the much awaited confession finally came out due to the hurt, pain and agony. The pent up emotions were let flowing along with tears. Ab samajh me aayi what exactly was bothering ani. It wasnt raid, jealousy or anything else but the very insecurity that she still hasnt confessed her feelings. Its as if she hasnt made yog her own and it somewhere kept hitting her subconscious that maybe still they arent bonded fully and she can loose yog.

The last lines of ani were extremely well written di. Simply superb. I am feeling extremely ashamed ki i dared to req u to shape the story.

Its ...its just too perfect, the way u penned down the entire convo. Now obviously waiting for yog's million dollar reaction di. Pls pls do updt soon. I end here today as its already got too long. He he he, I could really control myself to make it shorter.
