I have decided to start a writing contest for the writers of India forums.

The writing can be an os or poetry.

CONTEST No.1

Hi guys...

So here i start the writing contest.

It is just the beginning.

There will be a lot of interesting stuff coming up.

The first contest is just a warmup to see if viewers are interested or not.

You need not be an author to participate in the contest. It is open to everyone .

I will be giving a story prompt and you have to finish the story in not more than 500 words(excluding the prompt which i have given).

Opening up the daily paper, you decide to catch up on the local news. When you check the crime log, you notice a familiar name: yours. The log says you're wanted for a crime you didn't commit. Suddenly, you hear three loud knocks on the door, followed by a man yelling, "Police! Open up!"...

Now it's your job to finish writing what happens next in not more than 500 words.

There is no fixed deadline to it. However if I get enough entries I.e. minimum 5 I will close the contest.

You guys have to pm me your entry along with your username and word count.

I hope I am clear enough.
