Part Eighteen

Kripa turned around and saw angad standing in front of her.

She was really annoyed with him a he came so late and made her wait for a long time on an empty stomach as well.

Kripa: Wow, kitni jald aaye ho tum, thoda late ajate, mera kya, maine kya kia hai. Sirf pura din kuch khaaya nahin tumaare liye, But who toh kuch bhi nahin hai, tum thora late aajate, itn jaldi aane ki kya zaroorat thi?

She said this with sarcasm dripping with every word.

Angad: Kipa, I am really sorry, who lya hai ke mai kuch kaam mein..

Kripa cut him off: Haan, of course kaam to hoga, who bhi kitna important, right? Waise bhi tumhe farak kyun parega, tum ne to breakfast lunch aur haan dinner bi kha chuke ho gaye, tume kya pata poora din bhooka rehna kaisa lagta hai.

He knew how she felt, she was angry at him and he had to make it upto her, and the fact that it was their first actual fight motivated him even more to do it

Angad: Kripa I am really really really sorry, I promise main zindagi mein ab kabhi bhi kaheen bhi late nahin poncho ga, aur ab please gussa thookh do, aur agar gusse hi rehna hai to theek hai lekin pehle kuch khalo, uske baad gussa rehna

He just stood there, tears were forming in her eyes, she knew he did care, because if he didn't he wouldnt have said what he just said. He didn't mind her being angry at him but actually wanted her to et, she could find that out forom the care in te way he talked to her. She smiled at him, and he knew she had forgiven him. He stepped forward and as a reaction she came into his arms, the only thing he wanted at that moment was for time to stand still and for them to stay in that moment forever, but he knew that was no possible. It was now really late at night and everyone was asleep. She took his hand in one hand and the pooja k thali in the other and started leading him towards the terrace. They went upstairs, and she saw the moon, She did the pooja (sorry don't know the details) and did the aarti n everything, n he gave he water and fed her. After it was over, she started moving towards the stairs to go downstairs, but she felt a strong hand on her wrist. Angad pulled her back, so she crashed into him.

Kripa: Kya hua, neeche jake kuch khaana nahin hai kya? Ya tum dinner khake aaye ho?

Angad: umne mujhe maaf toh kardia na?

Kripa: Main tumse bahut der ke liya naraaz reh sakti hoon kya, of course maine tumhe maaf kardia hai

Angad: Great, phir tum yaheen ruko, mai abhi aaya. Kahin mat jaana.

Saying that he started to walk away, went downstairs and in a minute appeared in front of kripa again with both of his hands hiding behind his back.

Kripa: Kya hua, mujhe yahaan rehne ko kyun bola, aur kya chupa rahe ho.

Aga: shhhhh, he brought one hand forward and put his finger on her lips. aao mere saath.

He took her hand and took her to the edge of the terrace again where they had been standing before. He took out his other hand from behind an he had another pooja ki thali in his other hand.

Kripa: Angad, ye kya hai?

Angad: sshhh, tumhe pata hai, tum bohut zyada sawaal pooch te ho.

Angad looked into Kripa's eyes and saw confusion clearly stated in her eyes.

Angad (laughing): Well it isn't that hard to figure it out, agar tum mere lambi umar ke liye vart rakh sakh ti ho, toh main kyun nahin. Main bhi tumse pyar karta hoon, so I have an equal right to fast for you right?

Kripa slowly nodded her head, with tears building up in her eyes. Angad did the pooja for her and took her hand and fed himself. Tears started coming out of Kripa's eyes, and Angad saw them.

Angad (wiping her tears with his thumb): eh Kripa, ye kya, tum ro kyun rahi ho.

Kripa: Angad, mujhe yakeen nahin hota ke ki koi mujhse itna pyar kar sakta hai, tumne mere se itna pyar kaise kiya? Kabhi kabhi darr lag tha hai ke main itni khushi bardaasht nahin ka paaongi.

Angad (pulling kripa into a hug): Kripa, ye khushi toh kuch nahin hai, you deserve much more than this and I am going to make sure you get it.

Kripa: I love you.

Angad: I love you too.

Angad and Kripa just stood there staring into each other's eyes, Angad's face came closer and so did Kripas. They were moving forward, their lips were an inch away from each others. Angad brought his face forward and their lips touched. At that time it seemed like time stood still. A small peck turned to a passionate kiss and Angad's hands went around Kripa's waist and her hands went around his neck. He caressed her back and she caressed his hair. After a few minutes they broke away unwillingly, both breathless.

Kripa: (blushing and looking down): Main khana laga ti hoon.

2 weeks later

It was a Sunday and everyone was at the breakfast table. Angad and his parents were moving out today because they had bought a house and it was now ready to move into. The house was just next door, so the shifting process had been much easier. Angad was leaving for London on Wednesday as there was a project that he was handling that he had to finish there, so he was leaving for a year, which obviously had upsetted Kripa a lot. They were all sitting together on the breakfast table as it was a Sunday and no one had anywhere to go. They were all busy with their talks when the servant came and gave Kripa's father the mail for the day.

Servant: Saab, aaj ki mail aaye hai.

Kripas dad: Thanks Raju

He went through the mail and said, 'Kripa beta tumhare liye letter aaya hai.

Kripa (taking the letter): Mere liye papa, oh my god ye tog London university se hai jahan pe maine apply kiya tha post graduation ke liye.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at Kripa and was telling her to open the letter quick as everyone knew how much she wanted to go there and how much effort she had put in to even apply there, Kripa was about to open it but she just suddenly stopped.

Kripa: I cant do it, I am too nervous, Angad you open it.

She passed the letter to Angad who was sitting next to her.

Angad (nervous): Kripa, are you sure you want me to open it?

Kanna (excited): Angad tum poochna band karo aur jaldi se kholo, yahaan pe hum sab ki jaan nikli jaa rahi jhai, just quickly open it coz if you don't I will.
Angad quickly opened the letter and read it, he showed a blank expression on his face he got up and hugged Kripa.

Angad: Sorry Kripa, but…

Everyone's faces dropped they all understood what he wanted to say, she didn't get in. Angad separated her from him and continued

Angad: but… (Breaks into a grin) tumhe mujhe ek poora saal jehlna parega, after all London mein tum mere saath hi toh rahogi.

Everyone was confused, and Angad looked around and saw confusion clearly visible on everyone's faces.

Angad: Oh my God aap log bhi na, Kripa you got in, you are going to London with me.

Kripa just couldn't stop her happiness and she hugged Angad, and screamed in joy.

Kripa: Oh my God, oh my God, I am so happy.

Wednesday

It was Wednesday morning and everyone was at the Sharma Mansion and there was a lot of chaos taking place as everyone was getting the last minute things done as Angad and Kripa had to leave for the airport in 10 minutes. After everything was sorted out everyone left for the airport and in no time reached there as well. Everyone said their goodbyes and finally Kripa and Kannan were saying their byes and both of them burst into tears because for as long as they have known both of them have been together.

Kripa (sobbing): Kannan I'll miss you, and listen take care of yourself, mere bina pata nahin tumhara kya hoga.

Kanna (sobbing): Whatever okay, I am kannan aur main apna khayal puri taa se rakh sakti ho samji, but I will miss you a lot.

Kripa: Yea right, tujhe apne nishant se phursat mile tabhi na.

Kannan: Shut up yaar.

Both of them hug and Kannan's dad comes upto them and says, 'Beta, I think you should go now, plane ke last announcement bhi ho chuki hai, tum log jao, ye na ho, plane chala jaye aur tum log yaheen reh jao.

Kripa: Jee uncle, hum chalet hain.

Angad and Kripa leave towards the aircraft, and everyone leaves to go home.
