Ch 49 : His Protectiveness
A wide grin was plastered on his face, he doubt he had ever smile so much before, but the fact the he was going to be father, made his heart burst with happiness. He couldn't describe what he was feeling in words. He placed his hand on her belly, trying to feel the life growing inside her. Both were laying in each other arms on the bed.
"Rey, lets go, we will tell this good news to mom & dad." Taani said to him, she rested her head on his chest and snuggled into his arms more.
"They haven't returned back yet-"
"Oh!" Taani nodded in understanding.
"Taani, i was thinking to get the room next to ours renovate, for our baby." Rey voiced out his thoughts.
"But, Rey, isn't it too soon? I mean even after delivery, baby will stay in our room for some years." Taani said to him, amused by her husband's over excitement and enthusiasm.
"Oh! Shut up, woman! You don't understand anything-" Rey grumbled causing her to laugh at him.
"Fine! Do whatever you want." Taani mumbled softly. They stayed in each others arms, enjoying the peaceful moment with each other, sharing their happiness with each other.

"Careful!" Rey told her as they descended down the stairs, he had his arm around her waist in protective, possessive manner which had her rolling her eyes at him. Ever since he had come to know about her pregnancy, he was being too over possessive and protective, haven't let her do any work.
"Rey, Stop treating me like a glass doll." Taani said to him, but he ignored her and made her sit on the couch in living area, surprising his family members with his behavior.
"What happen, beta? Aren't you well?" Ranvijay asked his daughter-in-law.
"Jee, papa, I am perfectly fine. Your son is being over protective." Taani grumbled, Rey narrowed his eyes at her then turned to his mother, who already had idea about the reason behind her son's protectiveness toward his wife.
"Rey, Is she?" Avantika asked her son, a smile was tugging at her lips and her eyes twinkling with happiness. Rey gave a positive nod in return, confirmed his mother's doubt.
"Yes, mom, she is pregnant."
A wave of happiness hit them all the younger son of the family announced his wife's pregnancy news. Avantika had tears of happiness in her eyes, she stepped forward and embrace taani in her arms.
"Oh God! Taani! You have no idea what you have given me today. Thank you so much, beta." Avantika kissed her forehead, making her smile at her. Ranvijay stepped forward and gave his blessing to her and her unborn. Rey smiled seeing his parents happiness, then his gaze fall over his elder brother, who tried to smile for his brother but his eyes gives away about the pain he was in.

My exams ended today, and i thought to be back on 25th, but seeing so many messages to update, i thought to update something.
