Was it? I was always the believer of the saying that there are three sides to a story. Yours, Mine and the truth. We got to hear Khushi's side, we got to hear Arnav's side but what was the truth? Truth can be deduced by the fact that Khushi has an unfortunate experience in being the subject to such kind of stares and Arnav is no saint, given that Khushi has seen him many times at the agency she worked for.
