Ch 47 : His Possession
"Rey, I don't understand how come his manager gave his statement in your favor, even others too?" Taani asked him to clear her doubt. They both were sitting on the couch, in each others arms in his cabin.
"His manager was present there when all that happened and others too knew why i did what i did. And there are people who still believe in supporting truth." Rey answered her simply, he was impressed by his staff's loyalty toward him. He didn't asked anyone to give statement in his favor nor did anything wrong to escape from police. But he was happy that people are supporting him because he doesn't find standing up for his wife wrong.
"Its been a tiring day for you, how about we go out for sometime." Rey suggested, knowing the person who is affected the most by all this, is her. Taani agreed with him, she too needed some change.
They had lunch in her favorite restro then went to beach to spend some light peaceful moments together. The bitter phase of their lives, was gone. She knew her husband would protect her from every pain. Mr. Kumar's chapter was closed, for better.

Taani stepped out of the washroom after puking her guts out. Her head felt heavy. Rey, who had just woke up from his sleep, noticed her tired face. He got down from the bed and rushed to her. She was feeling dizzy, she walked and stumbled on her step, but her husband support her.
"Hey! Are you alright?" Rey grabbed her shoulders in gentle grip.
"Yeah!" She tried assuring him with a smile, but he didn't listen to her. He scoop her in his arms and took her to bed. He made her sit on the bed and made her drink some water.
"I'll call doctor and don't you dare to move away from here." Rey told her in stern tone. He grabbed his cell phone from the table and dialed doctor's number but taani cut the call.
"No need to call doctor. I was just feeling little dizzy, may be because i hadn't had my dinner properly last night. I'll be alright." Taani assured him. She cupped his face in her palms. Rey look unsure, he don't trust her when it comes her health.
"Fine! But you will not move away from here. I'll get your breakfast and no office for you today." Rey told her in stern tone, leaving no space for her to argue. Taani pouted in annoyance.
"I hate when you boss around me."
"Aw. But its for your own good." He replied, he pecked her lips softly before he got up and left to bring her breakfast.
