Now and Forever (AR One Shot)
"Riddhima jaldi karo na." Anjali yelled for the fifth time. "Kitni der laga rahi ho ready hone main."
"Oh ho Anjali time toh lagahe hi, after all Armaan jo vapas aa raha hai aaj." Padma teased Riddhima.
Riddhima came out the room fuming in anger. "Pehale di or ab aap bhi mujhe chirane lagy ma." Riddhima said annoyed.
"Aab kaya kare Riddhima. Sach ko to taal nahi shakthi hai na." Anjie said her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Tum inti der laya tayar hone kaya liya kuyn ki aaj Armaan vapas aa raha hai. Mma main toh kathi hoon ki aap Billy uncle se baath karki in dono ki shaadi kar di jay."
"Di!" Riddhima shouted. "Main aur Armaan si shaadi karungi impossible. Us se shaadi karni se pehale toh main sanayas le lungi." Riddhima said making Anji and Padma laugh.
"Kuyn kaya burahi hai mujhe main." Someone said and seeing him Riddhima face broke out into a smile that could light up the whole world. "Smart hoon, intelligent hoon, and best of all good looking hoon, toh kuyn nahi karogi mujhse shaadi?" He asked walking in the room. Hearing him say all that Riddhima huffed and rolled her eyes. "Kuyn Anjie tum mujhse shaadi karogi?" He asked Anjie winking at her.
"Of course Armaan." Anjie said grinning from ear to ear before pulling her for a bone crushing hug. "Its good to have you back." She whispered pulling him out the hug.
"Its good to be back." Armaan said looking around the Gupta house. "Maine app sab ko bohot miss kiya." He said looking directly at Riddhima, who blushed under his intense gaze.
"Hum sab ko miss kiya yah sirf Riddhima ko?" Padma asked bringing Armaan and Riddhima out of there stare. Anjie laughed causing Armaan and Riddhima to blush to the roots of their hair.
"Of couse sab ko miss kiya. Magar sab se jayada aap ko miss kiya beautiful." Aarmaan said walking towards Padma.
"Aacha badmash." Padma said pulling Armaan's ear. "Agar itna hi miss kiya toh ek bar bhi phone kuyn nahi kiya?" She asked
"Sorry ma." Armaan said pouting cutely. "Kaam main itna busy tha ki mauka hi nahi mila." he said
"Ek bar kaya liya maaf kar kahi hoon magar aab aisa kiya toh tujhse baath nahi karungi." Padma warned him and then hugged him. Riddhima smiled seeing the exchange between the duo. Armaan lost him mother at a very young age and now had found a mother figure in Padma.
"Ek baath bataye. Aap aur Anji ktni khub shurat hai toh yeh Basket itni bhenji kaise ho gaye?" He asked with mischief clear in his eyes.
Riddhima turned red in anger. "Aacha main bhengi, kucho main dehati hoon yeh bhenji kaya kar shakri ha." Sid said picking up a pillow from the nearby sofa. Armaan started running when her saw Riddhima pick up the pillow and Riddhima ran behind him.
"Kahane kaya liya toh yeh dono best friends hai, magar ek dusre ko dekhne ke baath baacho kaya jaise lardne lagthe hai. Min toh kabhi nahi samaj shakun gi in dono ko." Padma commented shaking her head with a amused smile.
"Ma in dono ko aap kaya, koi aur bhi nahi samaj Shakta." Anjie said. Anjie and Padma smiled at each other and went to the kitchen to check up on dinner.
Meanwhile Riddhima was still chasing Armaan screaming bloody murder while Armaan just ran laughing. Armaan opened the door to Riddhima and Anjie's room went inside.
"Armaan!" Riddhima yelled following him in her room to see him laying down on her bed. "Armaan tum meri bed par kaya kar kahi ho. Utho!"
"Basket pehale toh pure ghar main mujhe bhagaya aura ab rest karne bhi nahi de raha ho." Armaan complained coming up to a sitting position and then patted the bed indicating her to sit down, but Riddhima just glared at him. "Are Basket baath jayo na. Ise aapna hi bed samajo." He said cheekily before pulling her down.
"Ha ha very funny. Tumahara sense of humor char slaal ke baad bhi itna hi kharab hai jitna pehale tha. Mujhe toh laga tha ki U.S main rehake kar kuch toh sudhar aa jaya ga." Riddhima said while Armaan glared at her.
"Jao tumahare liya jo gift laya tha who aab Anjie ko de dunga." Armaan said getting up and now it was Riddhima who pulled him down.
"Armaan please de do na." Riddhima said pouting cutely at him. Armaan smiled showing off his dimples that Riddhima loved so much.
"Nahi Basket itni aisane se nahi." He said grinning at Riddhima who just looked at him with a cute confused face. "Tumahe pehale bol na hoga kaya mera sense of humor sab se aacha hi." He said while Riddhima pretended to look scandalized.
"Armaan main zhoot nahi bolti." Riddhima said shaking her head.
"Aacha toh bhi gift ka bare main bhool jao." He said getting up again.
"Aacha aacha theek hai." Riddhima quickly said, "Armaan has the best sense of humor." She said making Armaan grin form ear to ear.
"Yeh hui na baath." He said pulling a small box out of his back pocket and handed Riddhima who quickly tore the packaging. Armaan laughed seeing Riddhima's enthusiasm.
"Armaan." Riddhima whispered pulling out a beautiful open heart shaped necklace. "Armaan this is beautiful." She said her eyes filling with tears. The emotion on the eyes could not be anything other than love.
"Tum se zayada nahi." Armaan said tucking a few strands of Riddhima's hair behild her ears. "I missed you a lot Basket." He said his voice thick of emotion. Riddhima threw herself on Armaan's arm and once there she realized just how much she also missed him.
"Basket mujhe tumse kuch kahana hai, magar pata naho kaise kahu." Armaan said and Riddhima's heart started going 200 miles per minute trying to guess what Armaan had to say. "I missed you like crazy in these 4 years Basket. Tumaha bina aise lag raha tha jaise ki main U.S hoon or mera dil yaha tumahare paas. In char shaal main mujhe pata chala ki tum mahare liya kitna important hoon. Tumahare mare zindagi main kaya maine hai. What I am trying to say is that I... I love you Riddhima and I have since I was 15 and I will till I the day I die." Armaan declared and felt a hundred time lighter after he got that off his chest, after all he had waited 12 years to tell her how he felt.
Riddhima's heart and mind had started going wild after his declaration. She was in cloud nine after all she had loved him from the day she saw him as well. "Armaan." She whispered.
"Its okay if you don't love me Basket. I am perfectly fine being just your frind but please don't push me out of your life. Main tumahare bina nahi reha Shakta." Armaan said afraid that he had Riddhima after his confession.
"Armaan mere baat suno gay please." Riddhima pleaded. "I love you too." She said after she had his attention. "Kab se pata nahi par main itna hi janti hoon that I love you or tumahare bine nahi reh Shakti. Pagalo jaise pyaar kati hoon main Armaan tumse. Mere har dharkan main sirf tumahare hi naam hai. Pata nahi tumahare saath ki dosti kab pyaar main batal gayi par aab tum mere sab kuch ho Armaan." Riddhima said happy that she didn't have to hide her feeling anymore and that he felt the same about her.
Armaan was on cloud nine after what Riddhima said. "I love you Basket Now and Forever." Armaan declared. Unable to control himself any longer, Armaan bent down and captured Riddhima's lips with his. As soon as their lips touched, both Armaan and Riddhima felt at home.
