Ch 28 : Her GrumpinessDays were passing by, and romance was brewing up between taani & rey. Everything was alright between taani & rey but then they got busy in their respective works. With new projects lined up, Rey was extremely busy, he was not able to take out time for her, staying till late at nights so when he reached home, she was fast asleep and then leave early morning without meeting her. They were in same office yet don't get time. The same case was with taani, she was working on different projects than him thus their interaction in office has reduced so has their lunch dates, and also, she has house responsibilities too. Both were not getting time for him, it was increasing their longing for each other.

Rey returned back from office early, to spend some time with his beautiful wife. After so many days he had come back home early. He was walking toward his room when Kriya called him from behind. Rey turned to her, and walked upto her.
"Yes, Kriya?"
"Rey, I want to talk to you, its about me & shivam-" Kriya mumbled in low tone. Rey nodded and waited for her to continue.
"Not here, lets talk on the terrace." Kriya suggested, he again nodded in approval and they both walked away unaware of the fact that taani was watching them, and was confused hearing their talks.
"Taani! Beta, have your dinner. I have cooked your favorite today-" She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard her mother-in-law's voice, brushing her thoughts aside, she smiled cheekily at avantika's care for her. She never felt she is away from her mother when avantika is around, she takes care of her like a mother.
"Coming, Maa!" She shouted back and ran downstairs, deciding to talk to him later regarding Kriya bhabhi.

"Kriya, did you told him? What was his reaction?" Rey asked her, worriedly.
"I did, a week back i told him about this and since then, he hasn't spoken a word to me. He badly wants kids, Rey, but i'm helpless." Kriya cried, Rey blinked his eyes, not knowing how to help his best friend in this situation.
"Kriya, stop crying, please. I'll talk to bhai. Don't worry." Rey assured her, he wiped her tears away. Kriya nodded, she just wanted assurance that shivam won't leave her because of her not being able to give him a baby.
"Lets go downstairs, all must be waiting for us." Rey said to her, Kriya nodded and they both went downstairs. They went in dinning area, Kriya sat on her place beside shivam who ignored her which didn't go unnoticed by Rey. He decided to talk to his brother as soon as possible, the issue was sensitive due to which, their marriage was at stake.
"Rey, is that really you? So early?" Avantika couldn't help with her sarcasm, Rey narrowed his eyes, knowing his mother doesn't like his workaholic nature.
"Mom, there is so much work in office, i have to stay there to complete the work."
"But you are not the only human who work, even your dad & brother work but they both always take out time for the family, but you, you engrossed yourself so much in work that you even forget you have a family at home. Every night you come home past 12 then leave early morning, it will affect you health too-" Avantika told him in firm tone.
"But mom, this is me. You know that i work like this only. I'm used to it-"
Avantika sighed, knowing there is nothing that could make her son understand her point of view. When it comes to his work, he doesn't care about anything else and she feared, her son's workaholic nature might create problems in his married life, she had seen longing in taani's eyes, she knew she craved to be with her husband.
"Maa, Can i go jodhpur and spend few days with mom & dad?" Taani asked her mother-in-law. She glance at her husband who stiffen hearing her. Before his mother could, he spoke.
"No! You can't go-" Rey announced his decision in firm tone.
"What? But why can't i? After marriage, I have meet them only once." Taani complained, she was missing her parents and wants to meet them and she want him to understand this.
"Not as a husband but as a boss, it an order. There is so much work in office, you can't go." He lied smoothly, but the truth was, he didn't wanted her to go away, he knew it was selfish on his part but he didn't cared.
"What? An order? What happened to your 'you are the real boss' dialogue? You mean-man!" Taani glared at him. She made a cute annoyed face, angry with him. Rey tried hard to not to smile, her never ending cuteness always amused him. Even in her anger, she is so damn cute. He thought and chuckled mentally.
"Be responsible, taani. The new project is completely depended on you, you can't go now. You can go next month." Rey spoke, this time giving a valid reason.
"I hate it when you are right-" Taani grumbled, she took her plate and walked away, Rey shook his head, knowing, Handling his grumpy wife is going to be a tough task.
