Ch 52 : Its 'Spoil-Mumma-Day'

Taani entered the kitchen, her lips curved into a smile at the sight before her. Rey & Reyaan were preparing lunch, since morning the duo hadn't let her do any work.

"Rey, I'm still telling you, I'll do it. It's not necessary-" Taani said to him when she noticed them struggling to cook.

"I know it's not necessary but we want to do it. Now, please wait outside. We will get your lunch ready in 15 minutes." Rey said to her, Reyaan nodded positively agreeing with his father. Taani shook her head and walked of the kitchen.

A month back, If someone would have told that one day Rey will be doing all these things for her, she would have laughed at that person's face. Till some time back, his heart was filled with nothing but hatred for her but now, all she could see is, pure love.

"He is changing, I can see it, feel it but what if this change is temporary? She couldn't help wonder, he had witnessed his worst side, bear his torture and it was hard to forget. In past 5 years, she had always wished for him to come back and accept her & her child and now, when her wish had come true, she couldnt bring herself to accept it. The scar he had left on her heart, was to big to fade away so soon. She needs time and he was giving her that, for which she is glad.

"Taani, lunch is ready. Come-" His voice broke her trance, she looked up and found the father-son duo coming out of the kitchen with lunch. As they walked toward the dinning area, she followed them. Her lips curved into a smile when her son pulled out a chair for her and made her sit on it while Rey served food for her in plate.

"Papa, today we will feed mumma. First your turn." Reyaan told his father who happily agreed, mentally thanking his son. Reyaan sat on the chair next to hers while Rey occupied other chair, taani was sitting in the middle.

"Are you guys planning to spoil me?" Taani asked them, amused by their behavior.

"Mumma, Its 'pamper-mumma-day'." Reyaan explained making her laugh.

"There is no such day, baby." Taani told him.

"Yes, there is. And from now on this day will come often." Rey told her, her head snapped at him. She lost herself in those beautiful pair of brown orbs. They held so much love, it shook her soul. Not able to withstand the intensity of his gaze, she lowered her eye lashes.

Rey, being aware of the inner turmoil she was going through, didn't questioned her and fed her lunch and without arguing, she ate.

"After lunch, we will go out for shopping-" Rey informed them, Reyaan nodded while taani rolled her eyes, knowing it's going to be another 'spoile-mumma-moment' where the father-son duo will make her buy almost everything in the market.
