His Wicked Mind

Twinkling fairy lights shined around the whole area of the poolside, the flickering flame of the diyas lighting up the whole place. The soft gust of wind disturbed a few lights, yet, two souls weren't in a mood to be disturbed by anything; being ruled over by the force of passion, the force which they were resisting since what seemed like eternity.

Khushi's breath hitched and she felt blood rushing up her cheeks, her heartbeat rising in a rapid speed. She looked at the man in front of her with a chaos of emotions erupting inside her - happiness, passion, desire and love. She could see similar feelings in those dominating eyes.

She stopped, feeling wall behind her back.

She felt her heart skip a beat when he almost closed the distance persisting between them.

Arnav looked at the divine beauty before his eyes. He had never seen such angelic beauty before. He felt overwhelmed, seeing her eyes mirror his emotions.

He felt his heart skip a beat when her backward motion was stopped abruptly.

Khushi felt dizzy, sensing his closeness. She closed her eyes, feeling his hand touch her cheek. She never imagined him to be this soft towards her after all the glares and angry stares she had received from him. A small moan left her lips when she felt his touch on her other cheek. She could feel his hot breath on her lips, making her inner form melt.

"Khushi..." he whispered.

"hmm..." her voice came out in a moan.

"Look at me..." he demanded, passion clear in his voice.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked into his eyes, making him shiver with the desire and love in her eyes.

"I have something that belongs to you.." He said, and saw her immediately opening her eyes.

"Wh..at?" she stammered.

"Your lost Payal" he supplied.

Her lost payal? Her Amma's payal. She stared at him. "You have?" she asked.

He nodded his head. "Yes. And I'm ready to return it...if.."

"If?"

Placing his hand on the wall, he trapped her and bent down close to her face. "If you allow me to kiss you." he breathed against her cheek.

Khushi jumped, her shocked eyes lifting to look at him. "Kya?"

"A kiss. That's all. " His hands moved away from to wall to cup her cheeks. "A kiss, and you will have your payal. "

Khushi was too affected to think rationally, too trembling to form a word. His closeness was doing something to him, the same weird things which always happen to her when he is too close. And when something warm rested on her lips, her lungs refused to draw another breath.

He had never lived this feeling, never felt this softness. He can feel the heat in her and God help him, he was drowning in that heat. His tongue traced the lines of her lips, tasting her sweetness, imprinting the feel on his mind. And when she let out a whimper in pure bliss, his lips moved inside her mouth, tasting every corner of her mouth. So sweet. So soft. He can kiss her whole day and never get tired. He decided. The kiss was tender, yet demanding. Gentle, yet possessive. His tongue rubbed against hers, making love to her mouth, blocking every damned thought from his mind. The kiss continued till they were out of breath.

Arnav pulled back to look at her. And as soon as his hands left her cheek, she sagged against his chest. He stared at her for few seconds before the corner of his lips lifted into a devilish smirk. This was good. Very Good. She will remember this kiss every time she sees another man. Very satisfied with that thought, he gently pulled her away.

"Khushi?"

Khushi's drowsy eyes lifted to look at him. "Y..e..s?"

He moved his hand to his pocket, and removed her payal. "Here.. Your Payal." Holding her stare, he knelt in front of her. Holding her feet, he kept it on his thigh, his eyes never leaving hers. He fastened the anklet around her ankle, his thumb caressing the soft skin of her feet. He felt her shudder under his touch. Placing her foot back on ground, he stood up. He could still taste her on his lips. He needed to leave, else he would kiss her again. "Your payal...And" he waited till she again lifted her eyes to look at him. He bent down and smooched her lips again, unable to resist the temptation "Thanks for the kiss" He said, and saw her lowering her eyes, her cheeks turning tomato red. He loved the effect he has on her, it caressed his male ego.

With that last thought, he straightened his shoulder and strode away arrogantly. The smirk never left his lips throughout the evening.
