Well if those are the thoughts he holds, he better stay aloof.

Prents are people. They do make mistakes. At the end of the day, they are somebody who will stay with if we allow them to without judgements. Its unfair in this world of nuclear families to leave your parents and think its better to get out of the house.

Am sure people will come up with things like his thoughts were temporary etc...

For me it was more about the modus operandi of the dude .I feel II's hurt more stems from her knowledge of her husbands past affairs than that of her father in laws infidelity. Marliese and his exes occupy more of her mind .
And here it was about his prank.

He spent the entire day sulking at DII on the iyer Deepavali with the presence of Abhi and when asked by his wife if it was DII he hated, he evaded that and pushed abhi into the background.
And with the peach guy, a lot has already been discussed.
How does he not expect his wife to feel bad then if he flaunts someone like Arunima then.
And he knows her insecurities with his exes. Chalo they hv stonewalled each other from discussing it so far.
He cringes seeing himself at the mirror wondering if he is capable of hurting someone.
Then he pulls a stunt like this and moves away smirking.
And when his wife reacts the way she does, he decides to attack the crux of the matter by putting it to the gene thing more than the unresolved elephant of his own past affairs.

He who was in a spot decides to put his wife in a spot.
And she is having to answer him cornered. But better now than never.
Like Sri says all's fair in love and war.

And if he is feeling like a piece of crap now as he feels , he just could hv said that first to his wife and then gone to address his past affairs or his father's scandal.

But then this is dude' modus operandi.

But, as I said earlier, if this brings about addressing that elephant , anything is worth it. That's for sure.

This was that reality check that mistakes happen and while showing her who's the boss he clearly crossed a line imaginary or let's say contingent line. Now he's got back to where he begun but there's one thing about past how many times you visit there's nothing new to see; but the hurt just deepens and II's fears are again subject to some prejudice of hers that she and she alone can fight and come out of it.

Dude coming straight out felt like somebody showed him the mirror where he feels his demons reflect but you have a different chapter to write to fill up your books so go ahead and make those proof reads and be back on track 😳

What I get from the tale he always was one women man
In earlier chapters he once said when asked bout M that he missed sex but he never had sex with his ex!!
He always was straight forward in that sense!!
When he proposed marriage he knew that's it
He wanted to live his life with her

But the scandals is one thing he can never come out of
It can never be assumed as it never happened!!
And that is the saddest part 🤢
