A dull tired man is sleeping on the hospital bed.He opens his eyes slowly.Eyes are red.He sees a blurred vision.Slowly the vision becomes clear.A beautiful lady iin the Doctor's attire is standing near him.
"Gauri?"
His lips shiver.
She smiles.
"So you remember me?"
"What a question Gauri?How can i forget you?You were my friend in the college"

She smiles.

"So you remember me.Seeing your condition I thought you won't be able to recognise me".

Shiv is embarrassed.

"Why do you drink like this?You know what your condition was when you were brought to me?You had vomited blood.You were so drunk that you fainted on the roadside.When i saw your face i became so upset.I could'nt believe that it was you Shiv.And Shiv...don't forget that you are a doctor also.Being a doctor instead of becoming health conscious you are ruining your health.You have to be ashamed of that Shiv.You don't know that your wife and children will become upset seeing this condition?I tried to contact your wife Ipshita.But i did'nt get her".
His face fades again.
"Wife and childrean will be upset?Never.She does'nt care about me.Even if i die she will not shed tears".


Gauri is shocked.
"Shiv?"
"Ipshita hates me.She loves someone else.She is always with him.I see her very rarely.She aborted our baby also.She left me forever.She is going to divorce me.I'm alone Gauri.I drink to forget my worries".
His tears roll down.Gauri's feels his pain.She pities him.
She wipes his tears.
"You are not alone Shiv".
Shiv looks at her carefully without knowing what she meant.
"You have to take proper treatment to put an end to your drinking habit.Drinking will not help you to forget your worries.In fact it will destroy you completely.Why should you destroy yourself for a woman who does'nt care for you?I want you to be the old Shiv who was strong enough to face anything".
Shiv said,

"You are right Gauri.Why should I destroy myself for a cheap woman?

Though I am only your friend you want me to get cured.But Ipshita who is my wife does'nt care if I live or die.You are a real friend".

Gauri gives a pale smile.

"I am ready for the treatment Gauri".

Gauri is very happy.

"Thank you Shiv.I promise you that this treatment will make you healthy like before".

He smiles.

Gauri gives treatment to Shiv and takes care of him.He gets cured completely.
Gauri gives him medicine and water.Shiv swallows the tablet.
"Gauri!"
Gauri feels that his husky voice sounds different this time.She looks at him.
His eyes are rolling on her.She feels that Shiv has'nt looked at her like this before.
"Why do you care for me like this?Not even wife has done this for me".
Gauri becomes emotional.

Gauri turns back with silence.
He holds her hand.
"Tell me Gauri?Just because i was your classmate once?"
Gauri's eyes become wet.
Shiv wonders why Gauri's eyes welled up with tears.He touches her eye drop.
"Why Gauri?"
"I have been loving you since our college days".

Gauri is in her room.The cool wind is blowing.She tries to close the window.Shiv holds her hand.She is surprised.Her hair is blowing.Her hair strands fall on her face.Shiv moves her hair strands to a side.
They both look at each other's eyes.

Gauri wears a blue saree and matching ornaments and goes to a beach at night.The beach is decorated with lit candles by Shiv.Shiv is waiting for her there.She smiles seeing Shiv and his decoration.

She goes to him.
"Gauri...will you marry me?".
Shiv proposes to her.

Shiv looks at her deeply.He goes closer to her.Gauri is shy.
Suddenly somebody knocks the door.
Shiv opens the door.He is shocked.
"Ipshita!"
Gauri is shocked.
Tears are dwelled in Ipshita's eyes.
"Come inside Ipshita".
Gauri recieves her.
Ipshita comes inside.
"Why did you come Ipshita?Can't you allow me to live peacefully?"

Shiv blasts at her.
Ipshita bursts into tears.
"I'm sorry Shiv.I did a big sin.My boy friend cheated me Shiv.God punished me for cheating you.Please forgive me Shiv.Please come back to me".
Shiv ans Gauri are numb.
Ipshita goes near Gauri and begs,
"Please give my Shiv back Gauri.I request you".
She cries.Gauri's tears flow down.
"Shiv.Go with Ipshita".
Shiv can't believe his ears.
"What did you say Gauri?"
"Your wife has come back to you.You have to go with her".
"You forgot our love and dreams so fast?"
Shiv asks.
Gauri can't speak anything.
"Please don't be rude to me Gauri.Please be with me always".
Shiv requests.Gauri feels like crying.But she controls herself.
"Shi...Shi...Shiv..."
Gauri stammers.
"What if Ipshita cheats me again?"

Ipshita says immediately,
"No Shiv.I will not".
"Trust your wife and start a new life with her.God made Ipshita regret her deeds and come back to you.God returned your wife to you with a right intention for sure.God can't be wrong.May be this is the right thing.We may not be destined to be with each other.You accept her.Forgive her.I will respect you more if you forgive someone who betrayed you".
"Okay.I will forgive Ipshita.And I forgive you also for deserting me so fast".

Gauri's tears roll down her cheeks.
Shiv holds Ipshita's hand and takes her out.
Gauri bursts into tears.

After one year...
Gauri attends a doctor's party.While walking she slips and she is about to fall down.Somebody prevents her from falling down.He looks at that person.She can't believe her eyes.
"Shiv!"
"Hi Gauri.How are you?"
"I'm fine".I

"Gauri...I have started practising again..Very soon i will be joining your hospital".
Gauri is surprised.

"Shiv...I am happy that you started practising again".

Shiv smiles.
Gauri's eyes search for someone.
"You may be searching for Ipshita?Right?"
Shiv asks.
"Yes".
"She is not with me".

Gauri is shocked.

"Then where is she?"

Shiv replied,

"That day when you forced me to accept Ipshita I agreed for your sake and left your house with her.That's all you saw.But you don't know what happened later".

Gauri looks at him anxiously.

Flash back...

Shiv takes Ipshita out of Gauri's house.

Ip:Thank you so much for accepting me Shiv.

Shiv:Don't be thankful to me Iphita.I am not a saint to forgive an unfaithful wife like you.

Ipshita is in shock:Then?

Shiv:I pretended to be accepting you for Gauri.She sacrificed her love for a woman like you.You don't deserve any mercy from Gauri.

Ipshita gets angry and raises her voice:Shiv!Are you saying that you are Gauri's gift for me?Don't forget that we are not legally divorced yet.So the relationship you had with Gauri was illegal.

Shiv:Shut up.I have proofs that you betrayed me behind me.So no court will support a woman like you.

Ipshita sweats.

Shiv:So if you don't want to get insulted in public get ready for a mutual divorce.Otherwise I will expose you in public.

Ip:Please don't do that Shiv.I am willing for a mutual divorce.

Shiv:And don't come again to my life like you came back today.I know that you came back to me only for my wealth,not because of repentance.

Ipshita is embarrassed.

Ip: I promise you that I will never trouble you again.

Present...

Shiv:We got divorced.Heard that Ipshita is dating someone now.

Gauri is shocked.
G:What?Ipshita was faking to get back to you for your wealth?
Shiv:Yes Gauri.But you believed her crocodile tears and sacrificed your love and happiness.

Shiv goes away from her painfully.Gauri feels very upset.

All the couples are moving to the dance floor.
