"You are making me angry now." Khushi groaned, pushing herself out of his hold and then turning to look at him.

"You wanna tell me you are a werewolf? REALLY ARNAV? A freaking werewolf? Dimaag toh theek hai?" she rolled her eyes.

"Mera dimaag toh theek hai. Par tumhaare hosh udne waale hai." he said wickedly, making her laugh.

"Bye, Arnav." she smiled simply and turned to leave before she heard a loud growl from the other side, and the moment she turned.. her jaw dropped. Her stomach twisted painfully with absolute disbelief.

"AAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Khushi screamed extremely loudly seeing a giant black wolf infront of her, it had dark, stunning green eyes and his fur was like velvet. It was the most amazing sight yet the scariest she has ever seen because it was so big that she felt like a miniature infront of it.

"Stay away! STAY AWAY WHOEVER YOU ARE!" She started walking backwards before falling down with a thud and sobbing. Her heart raced.. oh.. my.. GOSH! It is Arnav?! That wolf is Arnav!?

She closed her eyes, no she is dreaming. She is hallucinating. Everything is a lie. Arnav.. Arnav, ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA IS THIS?!

"Please stay away." Khushi spoke frighteningly as the wolf came closer to her before her eyes shut close as it came just above her, his big height towering her 5 foot 3 frame. The wolf nuzzled his face into her hair, making her gasp in horror and pray to devi mayya.

His wolf growled in delight at her lovely smell.. she smelled of spices, vanilla and chocolate cake.

He noticed how she was shivering at his wolf form and he immediately moved away before shifting back into his human form.

Her head jerked up at him and Arnav came to her, wiping her tears and kissing the top of her head. "Mate." he whispered gently.

"I.. am.. leaving!" Khushi finally cried, she tried to stand up on her feet but fell before attempting again and getting up to run but Arnav came after her in an unnaturally inhumane speed- yeah yeah because he is a werewolf, now she understood how ASR was so great at sports.

"Khushi, babe, you are not going anywhere. Your place is by my side." he cupped her face and made her sit on a chair before handing her a water bottle.

"I-I-I-I-I-I- am-m-mmm-m n-n-o-o-o-t-t your mate! Leave me alone you freak!" Khushi threw the bottle at him before trying to run away again but he held her and bought her back again with his super speed.

"I don't wanna be your mate! I.. I.. I'm gonna faint, Arnav."

"Com'on, Khushi. Calm down. Accept the truth." he spoke firmly as he held her in place with just his one finger holding her finger. So he has super strength too.

"I AM NOT GONNA CALM DOWN! I CANT BELIEVE.. I CANT BELIEVE THIS!"

"I know." he chuckled.

"I don't wanna be your mate!"

And then, Arnav's expressions suddenly became the ones of anger. He stepped to her and she closed her eyes, shrieking.

"Please don't turn into that black wolf again!"

"You.." he hissed. "You are rejecting me as your mate? ME? The Alpha, the leader of the biggest wolfpack of the world?!"

"You are not a human, Arnav."

"I am half human. The 'were' in werewolf means human."

"Half, whatever. You are not humane.. it's so.. I can't.. I can't be with someone like that. I hope I don't upset your wolf heart." Khushi gulped while Arnav was stunned, his heart was clenching.

"SHUT UP!" He grunted. "I am your mate. You are mine. MINE, got it? Look at that mark on your neck. F*cking look at it!"

"No!"

"You are rejecting me.. you are really-"

"Yes! I am rejecting you!" Khushi didn't even know what that means and she just ran out while Arnav was shocked at her audacity..

His wolf ran through the forest, his mind occupied with what Khushi just did. She rejected me like my mother rejected me.

There was one thing that Arnav hated the most - rejection.

His mother had had a one night stand with his father, his father was a werewolf. When his human mother came to know that her baby was going to be a werewolf too she left him.. she rejected him as her child before she could even see him grow up. His father was killed by a wolfpack when he was 8, leaving him all alone in this world.

And now Khushi rejected him.

A loud scream escaped his mouth and he fell to the ground, coming back to his human form. His wolf was craving for Khushi.. she always made him calm that's why he everyday visited her to calm his wolf and to make his wolf happy being in her presence but his own self was so furious as anger and his ego and his hurt made him decide one thing:

Khushi Kumari Gupta is going to pay for rejecting him.

Umm. .. so he is a werewolf for real
