Mother and Mothering- Amma's gave an earful to II for being impatient.by pointing it to her that her sister had it worse than -Her stern facet

Amma and Analogies . Where she asked II to reach out to Manny by citing examples of difficult coworkers and periappa- Analogical Avatar

Living the serenity Prayer- Amma's practicality in face of Adversity and her courage to accept things that she couldn't achieve- Optimistic Avatar.

Her percepts on life and counsel - II the recepient of the wealth of knowledge that Amma possesses .
What does one feel except RESPECT for this extraordinary woman .
Someone said it right ... Being a mother is an attitude more than a Biological relation.

in our day to day life we are so caught up with facing it we fail sometimes not only to observe deeply what happens and why we accept it as our lot in the lottery.
On the surface Ambala manni, Vaishnavi's mom II's chitti's and Chachi 420 seem to get away with their attitude...the negativity they hold within and emit boomerangs in some form or the other we can either turn a blind eye or engage with it.

People like AMMA epitomise the positive attitude...they live that in every action. Despite the way Vandhu suffers Amma or Appa never hold it against Bala or his family and try to pitch in , in whatever ways they can by sending batter sourcing the plumber or baby sitting.
AMMA is objective in her interaction with both Sons In Law. She does not like politics in the family though she has the opportunity to walk around with a Victim of circumstances attitude. We get an insight into her attitude and contrast it with what the patriarch is facing or his children are enduring after the great fall and act of indiscretion.
We emulate qualities or draw our inspiration or values and beliefs from those around us. By very deftly weaving in the nuanced differences and a reflection in characters NISHA is bring in lessons for her characters.
In like we don't have rules for attitude it is the flavour we bring in through the choices we make. We can either wallow in self pity or become MASTERS OF CIRCUMSTANCES by the stance we take like AMMA and her two daughters.
the Anchor that moors us is the Shakthi the Maternal energy. It is not the biological connect. It is more the emotional connect. The way Sam steps in to deal with her kid brother or II ...the way the Patriarch stands up for his Gudiya whenever he feels she is unfairly treated be it hid son daughter brother or even Appa not appreciating her on her sangeeth.
Chachi 420 by her choices her insecurities her pettiness chose to bond with Tan's mom rather than Sam...her attitude is loud and visible. While great Aunt or Gayathri Aunty by the way they interact with the Dude demonstrate the Amma attitude towards R&B and II.
The way the dude comforts and calms his II ...which Amma Akka and II at times notice how he mothers her calms her as you would a crying baby...That is what prompted me to call it the mothering attitude the THAYUMANAVAR...

The ones who face things in life and call it destiny...struggle to get through and always talk about the struggle it is to get though all this.

The others are the ones who face things and call it life...don't make a fuss about it...don't call it destiny...don't think thy are suffering but enjoy every hurdel like a beautiful thing about life

While both the kinds are great in their own ways...I think ones who openly accept that they enjoy life even while facing a 100 problems make super heroes in my head.

And amma is a super woman

What is life without a change and desperation to improve it??

But what is life if u just want to improve if and not live it as it is...that's my take away from this update.

Care givers are happeir people...even though they sacrifice...its thier choice unlike the ones who don't like to take responsibility and care...in that case even the smallest task becomes a burden on them.

Differences at work hurt but option to quit or shift emerge II sees
