Rey was standing in a corner, watching his family silently as they enjoyed the festival. How much he wished she was there with him.
"Rey, I know you are missing her but why don't you forget her and move on. Its not like you loved her or something. You were forced to marry her" Sara, Sharon's sister voice bring him out of his reverie. He turned around and gave her an angry glare.
"Who gave you right to interfere in my life? You are a guest and be that only, don't poke your nose in my matters" Rey shouted at her in anger and left from there. He went in backward to spend some time alone, away from the noises.
"I miss you, Taani" He whispered with his moist eyes. He never truly valued her presence in his life but when she had left he had realized what placed she has in his life. He was so incomplete without her and he realized it when she left but it was too late, she wasn't there to listen him. How much he wanted to go to her, beg her to take him back but he cant. She had asked him time which he granted why would't he, it was first time she had asked for something, he couldn't deny.
Rey was lost in his thoughts, about his past with her. Those 3 years were beautiful part of his life, her care, her love everything he got then but now his life is deprived from these two. He missed her truly. Rey was so lost in her but came out his reverie when he felt two feminine arms wrapped around him from behind. It was not her, he knew it. He was very well aware of her soft touch. He jerked the arms away, any touch of other women disgust him. It was and always will be his taani's right.
"What the.." His words died in his throat when he noticed the person standing there. It was Kria, his ex. Who left him 5 years back just to fulfill her dream of dance academy.
"Happy holi Rey" She squealed excitedly and tried to apply color on his cheeks but rey took two steps back.
"Rey! I know you are angry with me. You should understand my situation also, It was my dream to open a dance academy but our relationship was stopping me..." Kria started to say but rey stopped her showing his palm.
"No need to give an explanation kria. Just say why you come back?" Rey said in irritated tone, He had truly moved on from her and today he had proved it. Now, Her presence didn't affect him in any way.
To him, She was nothing but an unwanted visitor.
