As Naina reaches almost to her room, she decides to go to Rajveer's room instead of entering her own. Turning her heels she reaches his room. She finds the door unlocked, as she was about to enter the room, her foot stumbles which makes her to fall, but a pair of well built hands grabs her before she falls on the floor. "Sambhal kar Cadet Singh"says Rajveer. "Aap kyu humesha mujhey bachane aa jate hain?"asks Naina, staring deep into his eyes. Rajveer keeps staring at her, and smiles before saying "Kyunki maine wada kia hai". Naina creases her brows, unable to understand which promise is he referring to! Rajveer smiles, knowing her state of confusion."Wada khud se ki main apko kuch nahi hone dunga Cadet Singh, jab tak ki aap apne maksad mein kamiyab nahi ho jaati". Getting nervous by thinking that he must be knowing about her being Naveen's sister, she asks him, to clear her doubt "kaisa maksad?"Captain Rajveer smiles and answers "Ek successful Soldier banne ka!" Naina gives a sigh of relief. With full determination in her eyes, she replies "I can do it Sir. I will do it".
"Ek aur baat..." saying this Captain Rajveer looks into her eyes, then says "Tumhari Ma ko maine phone kia tha!" As she listens to his words, anger comes to the surface of her heart, afresh. She is hurt more than angry, thinking why Captain Rajveer called at her place, behind her back. If he needed to talk to her family, he could have simply asked her. But as soon as this comes to her mind, she realizes, if he would have asked her, she wouldn't have given her number to him. She wouldn't have allowed him in any ways to contact her parents.
After some moments, staring at each other, trying to gauge each other's reaction, which almost looked like eternity, Rajveer sighs and asks "Kya ab aap mujhey apne barey mein kuch batana chahengi Cadet Naina A Singh or should I say Cadet Naina Singh Ahluwalia?" As soon as she listens her own name from his voice, she trembles. But she realizes that her name didn't affect him at all. Thinking, how can this be possible, she creases her brows, trying to gauge his reaction. Trying to understand, is he hiding something from her?
As Naina was about to say something, someone knocks the door, and Rajveer and Naina hear Suriji and Pooja talking to each other, "Oh ji putar ji, aap na Cadet Huda se baat karna ussey pata hoga".
After a few seconds Captain Rajveer, opens the door for them. "Ji Suriji" asks Captain Rajveer. "Captain main apse puchne aya tha ki Dr. Ritu Mishra se apki baat ho gyi thi?" "Kis barey mein?" asks Captain Rajveer, creasing his brows. "Apne kaha tha na koi aney wala hai kuch check karna hai..." "oh han Suriji wo maine baat kar li thi" smiles Captain Rajveer. "Chaliye ji badhiya hai fir to". Then Rajveer turns towards Pooja "Yes Cadet Ghai!" "Kuch nahi Sir, main to Naina ko dhundh rahi thi, rastey mein Suriji mil gaye to unse baat karte karte aa gyi" says Pooja, with a look of apologize in her eyes. "Oh no problem Cadet S...", Captain Rajveer clears his throat and says "I mean Cadet Ghai" and smiles. "Chalo ji putar ji, chalte hain, waise bhi freshers party ke liye bhi tayari karni hai" "Han wo to hai, par freshers party hai kab?" asks Pooja. "Wo to Brigadier Chandok announce karenge""Oh! Kash jaldi ho. Par tayari ke liye bhi kuch din de humein, taki hum awesome lagey Freshers' Day ke din!" says Pooja, excitedly.
As Captain Rajveer closes the door, Naina comes out of the washroom, where she was hiding. They both stare at each other. Feeling shy Naina shifts her vision, Rajveer follows. "Ahmm... mujhey ab chalna chahiye, freshers party ki tayari bhi karni hai" says Naina. "Ji!" saying this he gives her way, to let herself out of the room. As she reaches the door, Rajveer says from behind, "Cadet Singh I would like to see you dressed up in a beautiful attire". Listening to his words makes Naina, to blush, her back still facing him. He moves towards her, but as he reaches her, she pulls the door open and leaves. Rajveer, turns his hand into a fist. Closing his eyes he pushes the door close, pressing the door with his hand he hangs his head down, his eyes closed all this while. "Kyun Naina...?" he whispers. Then turning towards his room he rests his back and head on the door, his eyes still closed, he sighs.
"Raj tu samjh kyu nahi raha mujhey darr lag raha hai, kahin usne mana kar dia to?" "Yaar Naveen tujhse bada darpok maine aj tak nahi dekha" "Ye aap keh rahe hain Raj?" "Dekh dekh Abhi ko bhi pata hai ki hum teeno mein se subse zada darpok kon hai" "Main kisi se nahi darta. Bus mujhe pasand nahi hai zada ladkiyon se baat-waat karna. Main yahan ek Soldier banne aya hun, mera dhyaan apne lakshya ki taraf hi hai" Grabbing Rajveer by his shoulder, Abhimanyu says, with a smile on his face "Dost dhyaan lakshya se kabhi kabar agar bhatak kar kuch mast cheezon par bhi chaley jaye to kuch bura nahi hai. Ab for example Sneha ko hi le lo. Bhai humein aisa koi mil jaye to dhyan humesha unn par hi bhatkta rahe" smiles Abhi and runs to escape from Rajveer's beatings, Naveen runs with Abhi and Rajveer follows them to grab them both. As he reaches closer to them, he pushes both of them, which makes them to fall along with Rajveer, in the muddy field, wet because of the rainfall, the previous night. They all burst out into laugh.
