Used to live there. My first job was in Delhi.

My father, an introvert and a man of few words, when I was a baby of 17 days, wrote a four page letter and posted it me since he had his work to attend and was away from my mum and me for a few days. In the letter he talks of how he felt his happiness when he saw me for the first time, he says all along he voted for a boy and how his thoughts about having a boy vanished the moment he saw my 'sparkling eyes' (exactly quoting him), how he wants me to be a replica of my mother, his dreams for me in the future,etc.

I got this letter when I turned 20 when my mother gave it to me. She has preserved it all along. The letter is so precious for me as it showed a different side of my dad to me. I never expected he is such an emotionally bound person. That's the most precious thing I have ever possessed.

Nisha, if you feel it right to incorporate in the story,can we have our R&B doing such a thing and II noticing it? Since many of us want to know dude's state of mind about his kid, I thought I could suggest. 😃
