Part 1

" Khushi, you must have met my son, Arnav right? I hope you gel well together soon." Madhavi wished it genuinely from the first time she saw Khushi, to see her as the bride of her naughty son, Arnav Singh Raizada. And maybe god has actually listened to her.

" So much for Dosti but nothing for Bete Ki Khushi?" Arnav marked his entry with his usual double-meaning dialogues. While Madhavi deciphered the meaning as 'Happiness of son', Khushi understood that he meant it as, " Your son's Khushi".

" Cheapo" Khushi muttered under her breath while Arnav smirked naughtily at her making her fume in fake anger.

" You both have your breakfast, I will leave for office now. If I don't leave now Kuber will get annoyed. Take Care. And Arnav don't irritate my Khushi." Madhavi warned Arnav knowing his teasing personality. He could tease an infant, a teenager and even an old wrinkled person.

" Aapka Hukum Sar Aankhon Par, Mumma. And Waise Bhi even if I think to irritate, I don't think you will be able to see me ever again." Teasing was something which was there in Arnav's blood. He couldn't stop cracking jokes even in the most difficult of times and Madhavi knew that asking him to stop teasing was as good as pushing a wall and hoping for it to move.

Madhavi smiled affectionately at Arnav and ran her fingers through Arnav's hair to irritate him before leaving for her work.

" So I shouldn't be irritating you isn't it Ms.Khushi? So let me gift myself the opportunity of serving you food, so that you at least save me from your wrath for once, for serving you." Arnav joked while Khushi gave him 'Whatever' look and started looking at the various family pictures in the wall, as she missed her father, who had gone on a business trip and her mother, who had gone on a trip to never return.

As she stood up to have a closer look at the pictures, she tripped after hitting to the leg of the chair and she was already anticipating herself with a broken nose and teeth, with bandages all over her. But unfortunately or fortunately, she stopped midair, and soon she sensed two muscular arms holding onto her which prevented her from falling.

Khushi, who had closed her eyes in fear, slowly opened those petals to look at Arnav completely lost in her. The dilated pupils indicated the effect she had on him, while the penetrating gaze emanating from those hazel pools made her conscious of herself as she pushed him away to gain some control on her senses which were wavering, all thanks to Arnav Singh Raizada.

" Thanks." Khushi meekly thanked him while looking everywhere but him, as she knew that Arnav being Arnav would shoot some dialogue which would definitely not help her situation. Since no sound fell on her eyes from his side, her eyes traced his form with softened gaze.

" Dosti Kar Lo Madam, Or else you will keep on saying thanks to me forever." said Arnav, while running his hands in his already ruffled hair, while Khushi's mouth dried seeing the enchanting sight in front of her.

" Oh really? As if I become your friend, I will stop saying thanks to you. It is matter of manners but shameless people like you don't understand them." teased Khushi.

"You will have to stop saying thanks to me if you become my friend, kyonki dosti ka ek usool hai madam, no sorry no thank you." whispered Arnav coming close to her ear while Khushi's breath paced.

As Khushi looked straight into Arnav's eyes, she felt like losing herself there, to be lost from this world and be just in his eyes forever. As Khushi thoughts were extremely effected by the number of romantic movies she had seen, the dreamy look on her face resulted in Arnav's smirk who was eyeing her every expression intently.

" Kyun Haina Ladka Apna Dashing? I know, Ladkiyan Mere Chaand Se Mukhde Pe Marti Hai. Arre Bas Bhi Karo Yaar, Pehle Toh Room Main Enter Karke Aadhi Izzat Loot Li. Ab Poora Lut Ne Ka Irada Hai Kya? Aur Woh Bhi Sirf Nazaron Se?" Arnav was back to his teasing self much to Khushi's annoyance.

" Why? Is there a tax which I will have to pay to see Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada's moon-like face which also has black patches like the moon?" Khushi teased him back with equal fervor while Arnav's jaw dropped to listen Khushi teasing him.

Seeing Arnav's confused and shocked expressions, Khushi couldn't help but burst out laughing while Arnav too joined her in a matter of few seconds. But soon their laughing had to end as kabab main haddi aka a trespasser entered the scene.

And the trespasser was none other than Sheetal Kapoor, the son of Rishikesh Kapoor, the friend and business associate of Kuber Singh Raizada who wanted to trap Arnav so that she would be the heiress to the immense wealth which the Raizadas possessed.

" Arnie!!" The shrill shriek marked Sheetal's entry while Arnav rolled his eyes in displeasure by hearing her voice in the early hours of the morning.

Sheetal threw herself in Arnav's arms while all Khushi could do was give Arnav a thumbs-up sign with a smile while lip-syncing 'All the best'. Arnav's looks became serene due to Khushi continuous teasing and Sheetal's stupid attempts to seduce him by rubbing herself against him.

Arnav tried to pull himself out the embrace, but even after being much stronger than Sheetal he was unable to do so and to add to that Khushi's expressions had gone corrupt as she tried to control her laughter in the best way possible.

" Umm..Sheetal we have audience here." Arnav muttered finally as he thought the situation was going out of the control as Sheetal was running her fingers all over him.

Sheetal straightened herself but not before shooting irritated looks at Arnav for making her pull out of the embrace, as for her if she had successfully seduced him and got him on the bed, Arnav would marry her being from a traditional family.

" Meet Khushi, my new best friend. And Khushi.." Even before Arnav could complete his statement about Sheetal's identity, Khushi cut him with a wicked smile playing on her lips.

" I know, your would-be wife isn't it Arnav?"

While Sheetal felt elated listening to Khushi's statement, Arnav wanted to bang his head somewhere as he knew it would boost Sheetal's advances towards him.
