Outside Seattle Amtrak Station...

"H..how.. are you here?" I finally asks looking back up at him. I find him looking at me with an amused expression. "Why? I am here to pick you up. Elliot told me to do it," he replies as he frowns, "Do you have any issues, Ria?" he ask as he takes another step invading my space. "Not at all, " I say quickly as I grab my bag and walk out from the shade right into the rain.

"Shit!" I cursed as I felt the raindrops hit me and immediately soaking me. For the first time, I was glad I was wearing black so I won't be transparent. I was trying to find his car without him. I have no idea how I am going to survive the hour-long drive home as we don't live in the downtown. As I was lost in my thoughts, I suddenly felt a cold hand around my waist that I felt till my skin because of my wet clothes as I got plaster into a hard chest. Ready to fight, I look up to see Rey looking down at me.

His eyelashes have rainwater on it making it exquisite as he looks down at me blink again and again to unblock his vision. His black shirt was soaked kissing his chest. He runs one hand through his hair pushing it off his face. "What do you think you are doing?! Look you got us both wet!" he exclaims as he drags me to his car and beep it open he first motion me to get in and then he puts my back on the back seat and come back sit on the driver seat.

He pulls a box of tissue from the back seat and put it on the dashboard. We both pull a bunch of it out and start drying our hands and face. I couldn't do it much as the tissues fell on my lap as I shivered from the cold. I felt his gaze fell on me. He put the key and turns on the engine, "It will heat up soon," he tells me as he turns the heat on. I nod as I look out as I forced my walls to come up again with him.

I felt him shook his head as he holds my seat from his right hand. I turn to look at him and freeze as his was inches away from mine. I saw his gaze travel from my face full of water droplets to my red nose to my quivering lips and then back to my eyes. I immediately look away ahead. "Let's go, Elliot must be waiting for us," I say my throat suddenly got dry.

I saw from my side vision that he nods and pull a jacket from the back he hands it to me. He moves it towards me, "Wear it or you will get sick," he says without looking at me. "No, thank you. I am fine. Let's go, please," I said with a desperation in my voice as he sharply looks at me. "Why are you so intent on going back ASAP?" he ask looking right in me though I continue to look ahead.

"Please, let's go," I repeat as I continue to look at the rain walloped the windshield and fast as if making sure that I stay here and have this conversation than letting me run away. I felt his anger come out in waves to me as he grip my chin in between two of his fingers and turn me to look at me. "When I am talking to you, look at me!" he says furiously. "Elliot will be waiting for us," I say as I look right in the eye refusing to let my feelings come out.

"What is wrong with you? I am Rey! Your friend!" he says almost in disbelief like he has no idea what is wrong. "No! You are Elliot's friend! I am Elliot's sister! I just his dumb stupid sister who has a stupid crush on you and runs around you all the time irritating you," I say bitterly as I look right in his eyes hinting at something in the past. I saw the shock and maybe pain that cover his face but still continue, "So, to answer your question Mr. Sandras, nothing is wrong with me. I just don't talk much with strangers," I end as I shove his hand off me as I turn to look out the window.

I felt his eyes on me for the longest of time. Slowly, he leans close, and I turn to him and give him the coldest look ever. He stopped and kept staring in my eyes. I was the first one to break it as I couldn't take it anymore. A second later, I felt his jacket being dropped on me and he sit back and starts the car and pull out the parking lot As he drives through Seattle traffic, I open the window and put my head back closing my eyes feeling rain drop hit my face. I slowly slip back into the past.
