"I hate you! No, you don't."

-Sharon POV-

I couldn't shake the feeling I got when Yum walked off without saying bye to me. I shook my head refusing to think something bad as I always overthink. He doesn't 't like me!!! I already know it! We have gotten over this with Zoey(my bestie), and she has very harshly woken me up from my fruitless thinking. I sighed rubbing my hands on my face.

I look up again in the last 2 minutes to see he hasn't come out. I kept rerunning the scene in my head when I recited my number to Nolan; Yum walked off. A small part of me wants him to be jealous, but I know it won't work. I think rolling my eyes. I have tried it a bunch of times but it was always fake, and he never reacted to it.

"Hey, Shar! What are you doing here?" I heard Yum's voice and looked up to see him. A big smile come across my face as I stand up and walk to him. "Hey! I was just waiting for you," I say a little shyly hoping he didn't notice. "Oh! You shouldn't have! Anyways, let's go. I will drop you home," he say smiling. "Well, thank you so much for the offer. It is raining," I say groaning, "So, I will gladly take you on that offer I say smiling as we both head down the hallway.

I was quiet as we walk lost in my thoughts about Nolan and him when he spoke first, "So.. Nolan, huh," he says suddenly giving me a strange smile. I look ahead as I talk, "Yeah, never thought will see him here," I say frowning. He nods as he looks ahead, but I felt his eyes on me for a second. He mumbles something but when I asked what he never said it again. I shrug not bothering about it. "Sooo.. we are finally done with fall quarter, and you owe me a froyo(frozen yogurt)! You lost the bet by .5 points," I say giggling. He narrows his eyes and glares at me. Then he huffs faking it but then resigns. "Okay, let's go. Let's stop by Menchies before going home he says smiling big.

"Yay!" I exclaim as I go with him excitedly. We walk out the school crossing the street as we walk into the parking structure. "Where is your car?" I ask confused as I look around not seeing his dear mom's car. "Where is the car?" I asked confused. "That is the reason I got you here. I wanted to show you my new motorcycle!" he tells me super excited.

I smiled big at him and checked it out. "OMG!! THIS IS SO COOL!!!" I say all excited like him. I knew it was his dream to buy this, and he has been saving money for it for a long time. "I know!" he says smiling big seeing my reaction. "I just got it a week ago and wanted to show you!" he says like showing it to me meant a lot to him. It made me feel like somewhere in his life, I mattered. I nodded as I take a step back as he gets on. "Okay, then bye," I say sadly as our time ended already but just then he grab my wrist and stop me. I look up at him questioningly.

"Come with me," he says smiling as he doesn't let go of my wrist as I try to wiggle it out feeling strange as I normally don't let guys touch me. "Umm. Swayum..," I say unsure as I even take his first name. He smiles not letting my hand go but instead he pulls me to him and make me jump onto the bike. Automatically, I grabbed his shoulders as I get onto the motorcycle. "Believe me, you are gonna love it! And, I am not anybody. I am your friend, and you know me, " he says smiling at me as he looks at me sideways.

I shyly grab his shoulders but try to keep distance between us on the bike. He chuckles and shakes his head as he grabs my wrists and wrap it around his stomach as my stomach beats so fast as I keep my eyes down. My lips quiver as I keep my gaze down not knowing he was seeing me through the mirror. "We will first go on a long drive and than munchies of wherever we are, cool?" he ask as he pull his helmet on and turns to look at me. I nodded a little too stun to answer. "Here," he says and pulls another helmet on me. "You look cute," he compliments me as he turns and wraps my arms around his stomach quickly and drove off making me plaster onto his back.

I smile as I take in his scent that I have started to associate with him. It was aftershave and wood with slight honey tinge. I like it. I slowly open my eyes coming out my mythical land as I watch outside as I wonder what is wrong with him. Why is he acting so strange? He never tried to go above and beyond so much to do something for me. Hmm.. I wonder why. Regardless, I was having a lot of fun being so close to him and just spending time with him. Finally, he pulled into Menchie's parking lot. "Umm. Shar, would you get off.. today?" he ask cheekily.

I slowly open my eyes as I groaning, "Hey, I only slept for 2 hours last night," I say defensively. "Please, don't tell me you were watching some stupid show again," he says as she gets off and put both our helmet on the bike as we walk to the door. "No, I was reading," I say smugly as I prove that he is wrong as he is normally pretty good at guessing. He shakes his head, and we get in. We both pick our froyo and after he pays for us both we take our seat. "Thanks," I say smiling at him as I take the first bite and smile big, "Yummy!"

"I am glad you like it," he says smiling. I smile at him as I eat. Suddenly, I move my head, "Try mine also. It's excellent. We tend to do that in our family. We share and try other's also so we get to try it all," I say smiling. He nods and smile as he moves his hand as he takes a spoonful from mine. "This is superb," he says finally giving me his million dollar smile as I nodded. "Yes, it is but I am not sharing anymore," I say as I poke my tongue out at him and pull my cup back."It's fine. I won't mine either," he says cuddling his close making me laugh out loud.

After a bit, we both get quiet as we both eat lost in our thoughts, "So.. what did you think about Nolan," I ask as I keep my eyes down eating my froyo though I felt his eyes on me, I didn't look up. "What about him?" he ask in a normal voice but I felt an edge in his tone. I look up at him and then look back down. "Nothing.. I.. it's just strange," I say as I play with my froyo. He doesn't say anything. I look up and smile at him.

"Don't worry about it. It's nothing. You want to know a secret?" I ask him quietly. He smiles at me smugly when he says," What? That you never drove on a motorcycle before or you never went to eat a froyo with a guy before," he asked with an eyebrow raised. I glared at him as I groan. "I hate you!!" I say making a face. "No, you don't!" he says laughing out loud smugly.

--Swayum's POV--

I smile knowingly as I wait in the long line only to buy her favorite caramel macchiato. I smile remembering how she got me my mango smoothie that one day when I was feeling weak. That day she touched my heart. I knew she was a keeper. Because I told her my day was going bad, she went and got me a mango smoothie and waited 15 minutes for me, which made her late for class.

Nobody has ever done anything like this for me. Nobody makes that extra effort other the small words of "I'm sorry" or "It's gonna be okay". But she did, and she still does. Though I have liked her since then, I didn't tell her yet. I'm not sure if she feels the same for me. It seems like she is the same way with all the guys. I frown at the thought of being just being another guy for her.

"Hi, what can I get you?" the lady ask bringing me out of my reverie. "Hey, one caramel macchiato blended with whip cream," I say smiling. She tells me the total, and I slide the card. As I wait for the drink to get ready, I fumble with my phone wondering if I should ask her to watch London has fallen. She told me she wants to see that movie and finally, I am off early today, so I am going to ask if she wants to go together.

Since I have seen Nolan's apparent interest in her, I have gotten insecure. I don't want to lose her. That's the reason I took her on that bike ride. I wanted to show her my real feelings and how much I understand her. That I appreciate the trust, she shows in me and that I will never break it.

"Your caramel macchiato is ready," I heard the lady call and went to pick it up. As I put the straw in for her, I decide I will ask her. I have to stand up and spend more time with her. I can't lose without trying in fear of rejection. It won't be called a date. Just "friends" hanging out. I decided satisfied with my plan. I started walking to the stairs and went up to the third floor where I know she will be waiting for the next class.

Smiling big to myself, I slowly walk to the study area trying to be quiet so I can sneak up on her. I stop at the door of the study area as I glance around looking for her. There she was at the corner table, but she seems to be talking to somebody.

There was whiteboard hiding her company. I smile not bothered that she isn't alone and step slowly towards her, holding the shake in my hand. Suddenly my smile fell as the figure hiding behind the blackboard was revealed, it was Nolan. Trying to keep my anger and jealousy, I still continue to march, but now I had no smile on my face and the cup in my hand was about to explode from my tight hold.

"Come on, Sharon. Please give a chance," I heard Nolan say as he reaches out his hand and grab hers making me see red as I grind my teeth to stay quiet as I stop a foot away from them waiting to see what is happening here. I waited for Sharon to remove her hand, but she didn't. I couldn't believe it. She was looking at him with a sad/desperate face.

"Nolan..." she started as she shakes her head as I wait for her to pull her hand but she doesn't. "No. Please, let me say it now," he says as he grabs her other hand also. "I had always liked you especially last year when you changed as a beautiful, independent woman. I meant to talk to you last year, but everybody knew that you don't date. I was scared of rejection and never asked you out. But I know now that you like me, also. So please give us a chance. I won't let you down," he finishes looking right in her eye. I hate to admit, but his words and his face seems sincere.

I couldn't believe he asked her out. W*F! They just met fu*king five days again. But I tried to calm myself knowing she would never say yes, would she? She doesn't like him?! Right?! Just then she finally broke her silence as she replies blushing, "Yes."

Her one word made my whole world fell apart as I look at them with anger and hurt. Nolan seems so happy as he takes both of her hands and shower them with kisses as she blushes looking away. I turn around with my face contorted in anger. Blindly throwing the cup away, I walk out of the building without a backward glance as her simple "Yes" kept repeating in my head. I get on my motorcycle and drove off skipping my next class.
