" Come on, time to exchange rings!" Anjali's announcement brought back Arnav and Khushi into the stark reality while Khushi looked away, shocked with herself that she was losing herself in that Arrogant Stupid Raizada.

" It's okay, Madam. We know that it is hard to resist my charm and you are not an exclusion." Arnav's remarks brought back sarcastic look on her face while Arnav slipped him palm into his before holding it with a grip of love as he made his way towards the center of the hall.

" It is good to feel confident about yourself but growing arrogant is upright stupid. Oh sorry, how can you erase two things which are a part of identity?" Khushi smirked arrogantly at him before freeing her hand from his hold and standing opposite of him while her mother presented a ring before her which she elegantly picked up from its box to place it on his finger.

Arnav took the ring forwarded by Anjali and moved towards Khushi with a naughty smile playing on his lips as he whispered,

" This confidence of mine is not baseless, darling. After all, the great Khushi Gupta had succumbed to my charms that night and that is no less than achievement!"

He made Khushi wear the ring amidst huge round of applause but all Khushi cared was to wipe of that smirk off his face.

" What will you take to stop bringing that night in between us, Mr.Raizada?" Khushi finally gave up on Arnav's teasing capabilities which seemed to go two steps ahead of her sarcastic and retorting skills.

" As much as I regret letting go off this amazing opportunity of teasing this beautiful fiancee of mine, I think I can settle for a kiss." Khushi's lips which opened wide to form a perfect O was the answer which Khushi could offer to Arnav's naughty smirk which was not leaving his lips.

"In your dreams, Raizada. I am not going to let you kiss my lips." Khushi was fuming in anger and Arnav smirked even more with her comment as he added,

" I never mentioned lips darling but now that you have mentioned them, let us go ahead with it anyways." Khushi fumed listening to his flirtatious replies and looked around to see that everyone was lost in their own world while their families were probably having a talk about the rituals seeing them talk.

" You seriously think that I will let you kiss me and that too in front of all these people here?" questioned Khushi while looking straight into his naughty orbs.

" Oh My Goodness! Is it what I am thinking? Khushi Gupta, my fiery fiancee, is shying to kiss me in front of everyone. Awwh baby, don't worry. We can go into the confines of our room and have our kiss. I understand your plight." Arnav's fake concerned tone implying his flirtatious teasing brought signs of terrifying anger to her face.

" You just SHUT THE HELL UP, Mr.Raizada. Me kissing you would happen only in your goddamn dreams. You are just impossible." Khushi didn't have an option to move away him much to her annoyance as her mother had asked her to give her dear fiance a very good company so that he wouldn't feel bored.

" Congratulations on your engagement, Khushi!"

A sweet voice greeted her while a smile lit up on her face much to Arnav's jealousy as it was a male voice. He balled up his fists that Khushi never responded to his voice in such a pleasant manner.

" Is it a time to come to your best friend's engagement NK? You were supposed to be here, talking care of the arrangements and you come after the ceremony is completed to give me your wishes." Khushi eyed a handsome who had a guy next-door persona about him in a fake angry manner while he immediately engulfed her into a warm embrace much to Arnav's annoyance.

" I know baba, I am late but what to do, I had select an amazing gift for my best friend on her special day and trust the city's traffic to get you late. Ab Maaf Bhi Kar Do Yaar Ya Phir Mujhe Sab Ke Samne Gutno Pe Jaake Maafi Mangni Hogi." NK held his ears while asking forgiveness from her while Khushi had a hard time controlling her laughter seeing NK's cuteness.

" Forgiveness or punishment, I will decide on it after I see your so-called amazing gift, Mr.NK!" Khushi forwarded her palm towards NK while NK placed her gift on her extended palm with a loving smile on his face while Arnav fumed seeing them. But he couldn't afford to make a scene in front of everyone especially if his love already has a bad impression of him.

Khushi tore open the beautiful wrapping of her to reveal a boxful of chocolates of every type she liked. It has Ferrero Rochers, Hershey's, Cadbury's, Toblerones and most of all, her favorite Lindt Truffles. Joy lit up in her eyes and face as her anger melted away while she hugged NK tightly while continuously thanking him.

" I love you NK! Thank you so much for this! OMG, I am so happy!" squealed Khushi in delight while NK steadied her, stopping her from falling and asked,

" Love you too baby! But did you forgive me?"

" When was I even angry with you? I knew that my NK would not be late on my engagement intentionally. Now wait, I will keep these chocolates inside or else I will end up gobbling them all right now." Khushi started moving away when NK forward his hand to Arnav for a handshake and congratulated him. Bound by manners Arnav took his hand in the handshake and muttered,

" Thank you, NK. Excuse me!"

Arnav walked without waiting for NK's reply while he knew where exactly Arnav was heading to and his lips curled into a sweet smile.

And NK was right. Arnav was taking his steps towards Khushi's room with fury written all over his face. He entered into the room to find Khushi locking those chocolates safely in her wardrobe with that smile still playing on her lips.

Arnav turned around Khushi with her elbow and locked his lips with hers into a frenzy and passionate lip-lock.

AHEM! I enjoyed writing this update! Be ready for the unexpected.

Nice Update

Arnav will never stop flirting with Khushi. Now NK has entered into the picture, Arnav is so jealous of his friendship with Khushi who is behaving nicely towards NK.
