I was thinking about how each family functions, it's make up , the rules that exist within each family unit and so when a child is born to the family or a the family welcomes a new person to the family by way of marraige, the child born and the DIL added or the son in law added are expected to unconsciously adapt to find their own place in their family .
And when it comes to family justice and loyalty, it's not clear cut as they have their own rules and expectations. Every culture has it's own do's and dont's and traditions.
Today's modern 'blended' families , are trying to find their own set of rules , and it's hardwork and overtime without extra pay most times.
Bala's brother , Ranjanji's perceived scandal questions this justice and strains relationship, I feel.
