------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I count each day a little life, With birth and death complete;
I cloister it from care and strife And keep it sane and sweet.

O that all Life were but a Day Sunny and sweet and sane!
And that at Even I might say: "I sleep to wake again."

Exceptional Chapter Jen.
👏 👏 👏

Anita's young heart at odds about her first love flutterings and self introspection is so touching, but I must say she has a healthy attitude about it. We will need Aman's thoughts about both the Gupta sisters to really know what he is thinking. Anita - Aman situation is tricky as well and has to be handled sensibly.

The cray cray sisters - love it, though I really want Arnav to get the opportunity to put z & z in the cray & cray face to face and do it in his oceanic way...calm and treacherous. 😆

Sujata has done such a wonderful job in raising her daughters, but in her dislike for Arnav she has neglected the sanctity of her home and family. She is not thinking in terms of what is best and happiness for Khushi but that which is best for her own ego. I am actually hoping she question Madhu about Arnav since she is aware of her longtime friendship with Aastha.

Anderson Cooper the incognito boyfriend. 😃
Khushi had very sound advice and soothing words for Anita and in the process also applied a salve to her heart.

Aunty Madhu, a surprise ally is just what Khushi needed. A kind gentle nudge to jostle her out of her reverie. A hug and reminiscing of Astha and Arnav and his happy early years was yet another super salve for Khushi.
Aunty Madhu's about turn and statement re the "pagal" was hilarious, but there is truth in it. 😃
Khushi's subsequent longing for Arnav and meeting on the terrace threw her off pleasantly and boosted her confidence to seek closure to the "Madison" matter.
Jen, the waist chain ministering...awesome. 👍🏼

Honest Lies = Truth and nothing but the truth to one's self. It is not about seeking forgiveness by reasons/excuses, but about being accepted with the guilt of the "infringement and hurt" along with the promise to do one's best to not repeat them again.

Khushi's desire to know about what transpired may seem frivolous, but necessary to extinguish doubt to move forward.
The entire conversation was revealing and satisfying.

Khushi's repeat nightmare/dream - subconscious enigma appear nightmarish but they are a path of revelation to her soulmate.
In my opinion, Arnav is the phoenix in her dreams. He is the one rising from the despair in his life. He may not want to/be able to reveal the deep essence of who he is, but she needs to understand him to keep him from destroying himself. What Arnav went through in the bathroom was a purge of the toxins in his mind and body to rise once again. Saffron Fields are important because they are a happy place full of love; Aarav the grandfather, Aarav the son and now Khushi are his reasons to rise from the ashes of despair. Memories of the past and new ones to make. All that Arnav cannot voice is now known by Khushi.

Jen, I don't have words to express how brilliantly this dream sequence is penned. The whole chapter is outstanding.

Jenny, I do not have words to express what I felt after reading the update. This must be the best update you have written till date.

It is my privilege and my honor to have been a part of this journey of Saffron fields and thank you Jen for this wonderful story which not only has a complex plot, it also showcases the complex human nature and emotions while dealing with complex situations life throws at us.

Anita and Aman's story is turning out to be a complex one too just like Arnav and Khushi's.

What did Anita misunderstand on that day? Was the care and concern in Aman's eyes not for Anita but for Khushi? Is Aman still in love with Khushi?

I guess Aman attending Isha's wedding is a good thing because when he sees Arnav and Khushi together and happy, it would give him a closure to whatever it was between him and Khushi.

And I really hope Anita's wounded heart gets healed too.

Khushi found an unexpected alley in Madhu.
Listening to Madhu's kind and affection filled words about Arnav, regarding his nature and honesty and what a fine man he is, it makes me wonder what Sujatha would have said if she had listened to this conversation.

Usually it is said that dont judge a book by its cover and that is exactly what Sujatha has done regarding her opinion about Arnav. But Madhu and Akash knowing Arnav since he was a child are supporting the couple which makes a valid point here Jen regarding us humans.
How quickly we make opinions without understanding the entire scenario and stick to our opinions and thus making way to hurt and injustice.

Also what got my attention more was when Madhu said that Arnav was much more cheerful as a child and as a young adult and this Arnav is not the Arnav she knew him as. Did Aastha also not mention once seeing a cheerful Arnav that she is indebted to Khushi to give her the old Arnav back.
How life changes personalities!!!

What a relief, the much needed, the much awaited talk regarding Madison and that night happened and most of Khushi's questions and doubts got cleared.

Coming to the dream, Jen I have never read such a masterpiece in my entire life.
Usually it is said that some dreams are a mirror of our subconscious mind.

Did Khushi's mind show her the true picture of what was bothering her, give her the answers to her mental turmoil, show her what her heart probably knew long ago?

Khushi now knows that Arnav's fear of losing her, losing her love, being left alone again was probably much much greater than her guilt.

A man drowning in a river finds a wooden log and holds onto it as his life depends on it. But if the log decides to go away from him, then he would fight for it, he would panic seeing the log being taken away, go after it, kick the water around because he knows if he loses the log then it means its the end of him.

It was the same situtation with Arnav, Khushi was and is his log. After Aarav's death, he had lost all hope in life until Khushi came like his life jacket and Khushi asking time to get over her guilt and convince her parents panicked Arnav. He feared that Khushi had doubts about their love and relationship and how great was his fear showed in his subsequent actions.

And once Khushi realised it, there was nothing stopping her except becoming one with him, pouring her love out towards him and accepting him with all his fears and insecurities.

PS: Jen, did I understand the dream correctly.
