Ramayana OS : A True Queen

Sita , his beloved was standing in front of him as a statue. She was shocked of what her lord had just said to her. She was not In her senses. She was not feeling anything. It felt like her emotions have been slowly destroyed in these painful years to the extent that she could not feel grief, happiness has long ceased to exist in her heart. The last time she felt happiness was when she reunited with her lord.

Ram- Devi, what you have to say now? You must prove your innocence to me.

Lava and Kush could not tolerate the insult of their pious mother. They were about to shout at Rama but Sita stopped them by her hand.

It's not like it was easy for her lord too. He too was feeling deep remorse for accusing Sita and questioning the birth of Luv and Kush. But to protect Dharma, to protect righteousness and above all to make an example for mankind the incarnation of Vishnu had to bear this pain which was swirling him and creating a whirlpool of emotions in his heart. He knew his wife was pious like Devi Ganga, he didn't want to take her agni pariksha even when she was rescued in Lanka but to save their honor he had to ask her for giving the examination of her chastity.

Ram- Devi speak or else your silence will be considered as proof of your crime.

Sita spoke out of deep grief - How could you accuse me of such a scandal? Have my Husband has lost his trust in me? Doesn't he knew I was pregnant by his children when he left me to die in Jungle? I ask not lord rama but my lord, my husband, could he ever accuse me of this shameful act? Even when he took agni pariksha and I passed it, still he is accusing me?

Ram- In front of you is sitting the king of Ayodhya, not your husband devi. I have duties towards my kingdom. Our Dharma does not allow a lady to be tainted in virtues, Aryavrata must not be tainted, protecting her virtue is the greatest duty of a woman. Now please give me your answer, are you ready for another agni Pariksha?

Ram thinks- I am so sorry my beloved, I know from all my heart that you are pure as devi ganga, your devotion for me is as strong as devi parvati has for Lord Shiva. Oh my god, how can I ever get away from the sin of blaming you for something you can never do. I am not even worthy of your forgiveness but look at my situation, I am a king, I have duties towards my subject, If I today accept you and my sons, people will again question their blood and I don't want you to suffer for that pain. Please forgive me if you can my love...

Sita had no emotions on her face- You know when Rishi Valmiki told me that Luv and Kush recited Ramayana to you and when messenger came to me, I thought...I thought you will be happy to see me and your children but here I again stand in front of you as a culprit for no good reason...again accusing me of crimes which I never even think of commit.

Ram with heavy heart- You are wasting my time Devi, if you want to prove your innocence and make me accept luv and kush you'll have to give agni pariksha...

Sita- Fine...seems like there can be no solace for a lady in this world.

Sita said aloud- O lord divine, O my dear Mother Earth, My mother who sent me into this cruel world, Today I say this, If my devotion for my husband was absolute, I never ever thought of any other man except my Lord Ram then Mother Earth give me refuge in You.

Everybody Shocked, Ram and his Children were dumbstruck. Kaikeyi puts her hand on her mouth in astonishment.

Sita again said- O Mother Earth, if my children are as pious as lord ram, if they are children of Lord Ram then give me refuge in you, My mother take me with you.

Ram- No...Sita...No ...

Suddenly thundering started in the sky, rain started falling...the Earth drifted apart.

Goddess Earth appeared before everyone. Everyone was shocked to death.

Luv and Kush started crying...

Mother Earth- Oh my dearest daughter, my sita, come , come with me.

Sita- Maa...she hugged mother earth...Luv and kush grabbed her...

Luv- No mother, no don't leave us. How will we ever live without you? Mother please don't go...

Sita- I cannot live in this world my jewels, it has become far too cruel for me, I prefer to die honorably then getting disgraced by people's accusations again and again. I would have lived in hope that atleast my husband trusted me if not King Ram.

Ram- I always trusted you Sita, don't leave me, don't , How will I ever forgive myself? Please don't leave, don't leave...he started crying.

Sita- You wanted me to give agni pariksha, I did my lord. My children, always take care of your father and follow him with your heart. Follow your dharma and serve Lord Ram with your heart and soul.

Luv- I won't let you go mother...

Sita-Please my child let me...It's your mother's wish...Please...

Suddenly Mother Earth took Sita with her. She disappeared In Earth while Ram and his children looked on...

Kaushalya said- She did prove but not her innocence , instead of that she showed she was never guilty of anything, she showed how a true queen should be. Ram fell on the ground on his knees.

Valmiki- Lord Ram, it was all written in stars, no one can change what fate has planned for us.

Ram- Why she always suffered because of me? He said while hugging his children.

Vashishtha- Devi Sita has proved that she was true upholder of a lady's virtue. She is the most pious among woman and has shown path for woman how to be a true lady. She was indeed a proud of raghukul, SHE WAS A TRUE QUEEN.

Note- I know this is not a very good story, I tweaked the actual story a lot but I wanted to show how strong and true queen sita was. Hope you liked this os. I revere Ram and Sita and this was a tribute to their sad story. Sorry for grammatical mistakes.
