I loved Dharamshala so I wish I could visit it 100's of times like you have. Been there only twice.

Ranjan is such a protective Dad...speaking up for the Gudiya he so adores and knows R&B adores as well ...he went seeking her hand in marriage for his son remember...He never spoke when his son sold his shares or quit his company and is reconciled to his plight of loved ones deserting him...he senses the pain II would endure...a living death parting from her Dude before she could come to terms with MM or the people and problems that hang so heavily around them...Every person connected to R&B is hurting from his action and dont hesitate to pack him off on a guilt trip...the Dude prefers to wallow in pain all by himself...he would soon come to terms with reality as also II and they would arrive at a compromise...how long that would take we have to wait and watch but till then we will have to fret fume and rant about the madness in the move...The next chapter is going to be a face palm moment for the Dude for sure...Sam Manny and II have expressed their feminine perspective...the shrewd business team is now having their time to offer their perspective...Akka will i hope state over lunch ...Amma and Appa i wonder what they'd say...how and all the pain that will ensue...a heartbreaking weekend it will be for us on the forum

My house is this transit lounge especially for aged parents crisscrossing the planet for their kids.
This time I have a family of 3 kids and a granddad staying with me for 3 days.

We went to a nearby Ganesh temple for the evening before a visit to the night safari here. I was so impressed with the 6 year old who wanted to do this archanai for herself her thatha and rattled off- maya - ashleasha; Mira- swathi, Rishab- Karthika, Radha( her mom) and Andre ( her dad) satabhishak!!

I asked her thatha how they managed that he regaled me with his story of the little 6 year got ready for her first ever visit to India armed with tips on how to dazzle family. She spoke to her dad's mom got the time place of birth as asked for by her thatha and outsourced looking up his janma nakshatra to her thatha 😳.

I was touched to see these kids mill around him and the thatha beaming with pride at the temple! And no prizes for guessing who he reminded me off... 🤗

This is so awesome .. Mute my phone sit thru a pointless boring call on a Saturday when I so want to be home because it's Friday in Denver and chat with my virtual family! 😃

My uncle has a farmhouse over there, and it was just 3.5 hours drive from Hsp. So we would run to the hills 😊 when it would get very hot. I love that area, we would sit on the big stones in the rivulet. Play songs on big boom box. Or to the tea farms which were across the small him. Just beautiful. And sometimes pester older cuz to drive us to McLeodganj for dinner or general masti. And on a good day head to Palampur Valley. I still have an image of most beautiful flowers in my head from that place.
We see the beautiful dhauladhar range ( always snow clapped) just magnificent. I have fond memories of that area.😊

Lucky you
I used to long to live in Delhi or Coimbatore because it gave the option of weekend getaways to the mountains...i find Dharamshala has over the years become so crowded now.
All i can plan is weekenend getaways to my next fascination heritage sites:)

If the dude doesn't go then II should go with her parents & Ranjan t visit the McLeodganj
Asma we were city kids, we would go to the village area if some wedding was taking place. Admire the bride and the guys😉. Eat food and those innocent people would welcome us with open arms, oh what a life was that! I am getting all nostalgic
