Continue Taani's pov :

Two things I was certain about :

One , Rey is my neighbor.

And two; I'm locked outside my house.

I went to backside of my house thinking it might had kept unlocked for me.

But unluckily it wasn't.

I sat down on staircase like m lost somewhere.

Around five minutes later, it started raining.

I sighed thinking its just me outside the house enjoying the rain.

After debating with myself , I rang the door bell of Rey's house.

Few seconds later the door opened and there he was standing with nothing but a white towel around his waist.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I thought it could be perfect picture moment.

So what do you see?

You see Rey, looking sexy as ever, wet hair, droplets falling across his face ,down his neck and along his six packs.

And me?

A girl with damp hair - not sexy wet hair-freezing becoz of cold and eyes that couldn't stop roaming around the body of god in front of me.

"Are you done checking me out?"

I wanted to say "No, not really!"

But,

I just walked past him and entered his house and said, "You wish."

He chuckled and said, "So do you normally get locked outside your house? or locked the school?

Honestly, when I met you first time I thought-"

"-wow, she's a loser" I finished his sentence. He just had a smile across his face.

"Exactly."

I was stil freezing as I was stil wet. He might have saw me feeling cold as he gave me towel to dry myself and put on the heater.

"Can you please put on your shirt?" I said.

"Why? Is my six pack bothering you?" he asked.

Honestly speaking , yeah it was bothering me. But I can't say him that. It would be so embarrassing.

So I quickly said, "No."

"Is it distracting you?"

Uurhh... I so wanted to shout on him nd say yes.

But I kept silence.

He sighed and said, "its tough to be sexy. I know u can't resist me."

After sometime I felt hungry so I said,

"I'm hungry."

"I'm Rey."

"Hahaha, very funny." I said. Can't he behave normal.

I grabbed my phone from the side by table and began dialing.

Well a girl should always memorize four number,

- You own

- Your Mum.

- Your best friend (in my case its Shivam.)

- And finally, your favourite food shop, mine is Chinese.

After ordering some food I looked around the house. There were some paintings and picture of his family. I noticed he was the only child, like me.

"By all means make yourself feel at home." I noted the sarcasm but choose to ignore it.

I asked, "Do you have any movies to watch?"

Rey jumped into excitement and aid, "Like hot chicks, romantic or comedy?"

I simple said, "yeah?"

He quickly said, "Hell no."

If he didn't had y he has to ask huhh.!!

"Ok then what do you have?" I asked again.

"Mmm... Movies that might be little too scary for you."

"Bring it on Singhania." I said confidentally.

I really shouldn't have challenged Rey.

Its actually very scary.

We were currently sitting on the couch. I was pushing myself furthest how much I could to myself into Rey thinking he will protect me from the characters that will haunt me in the nightmares.

A ugly and scary guy was running behind the girl with a knife in his hand. Then the girl ran inside the house towards the phone for help but it wasn't working - it never works.

I am just a moment away from wetting my pants.

Suddenly there was thunderstorm outside. I literally jumped on Rey hugging him tightly like my life depends on him.

I was now sitting on his lap and my face hiding in his neck. I could feel my heart beating very fast.

I slowly released him and came face to face stil on his lap. We were very close to each other our nose touching. I just closed my eyes and closing the gap between us.

Suddenly the girl shouted in the movie

"ahhh.."

And we both got immediately separated.

I was feeling awkward. What the was I going to do now?

I looked everywhere but not at him.

Again we focused on movie.

Everytime I scream now Rey would laugh. I would glare at him and he stop.

In the movie, the door bell rings,

"No! don't open the door you dump bimbo."

The girl opens the door and the guy kills her.

Suddenly Rey'sdoorbell rings.

We both looked at each other;he might have noticed the scary expression on my face because he winked at me and said,

"Don't worry Taani, I'll protect you!" I felt a little relax.

The brave idiot opened the door and revealed ... the Chinese delivery boy.

I was eating my noodles and asked, "So who used to live before us?"

He smiled as he remembered good memory and said, "An old couple."

"So why did they left," I asked.

"I don't know." Was his ans.

I gave him stern look.

"Okay, might be because of my loud music late at night." He said.

"I see."

"Or maybe becoz I like to ride my bike at three in the morning."

"Oh!!."

"or beco-" he started but I cut him off

"Okay I got it you are the bad boy."

This made him smile. Did I ever mentioned his smile is adorable?

My phone vibrated

Hey Taani,

I was wondering is it okay for a girl to make the first move?

I quickly texted back

Hey Susan,

Cunfident attract most of the boys. Most of the boys want girls to make first move. Go for it!!

"So is it true?" he asked

My head snapped back up, "Wht is true?" I asked.

"that you are a some kind of relationship connector." He said

"I'm not relationship connector, I just give advice."

He asked, "who's the guy?"

I was surprised and said, "what r u talking about?"

"I mean whose the guy who broke your heart and made you to advice others whom to date and whom to not ant etc... etc..." he said.

But me? I felt like choking, the freezing weather had no impact on me. I felt like I was going to faint.

No one ever thought there would be any guy behind all this.

No one ever knew about him.
