CHAPTER 9

After around 10 days, Ananya and Akash decided to confront Aniket. Ananya said that she want to stay there for a few days so Akash told her to pack her bag. Both went to meet him. Shruti opened the door and was shocked to see them. She thought that Akash has come here to drop Ananya back. She asked, "Ananya tere bhai ka mood kharab ho jayega dobaara se...tu yahan rehene to nahi aayi na?" Both Akash and Ananya looked at each other and smiled. Then, Ananya replied, "Rehene to main yahan aayi hun...but permanently nahi...so chill!!" Saying this, she went inside leaving Shruti all confused.

Ananya met her mother and father and then called Aniket. He came out and was really happy to see her. He came forward and hugged her. As soon as he hugged her, his eyes fell on her bag. He asked in delighted voice, "Tu rehene aai hai?" Ananya smiled and nodded her head. Everybody was really confused as they expected that Aniket will shout at her for leaving Akash again. Aniket looked around and saw their expressions and smiled and said, "Kyun? Aap ko laga main ispar chillaunga? Nahi bilkul nahi kyunki mujhe pata hai ye do teen din ke lie aayi hai...aur in dono ke beech sab thik hai...hai na?" Ananya widened her eyes and asked, "Aapko kaise pata chala?" Aniket said, "Vo kya hai na... ye jo mere Jiju ke face par badi si smile hai na ye sab kuch bata rahi hai mujhe." Saying this, he winked at Akash and Ananya and Akash looked at each other with a blushing smile. Aniket then told them to sit down and asked Shruti to bring something to eat for them. All of them talked for some time and then Akash left. Ananya too got busy with her mother.

At night, Ananya was sitting in her room when Aniket knocked. She allowed him in and asked him to sit. She asked, "Kya baat hai bhaiya? Aap yahan?" Aniket held her hands and with tears in his eyes, he said, "Annie, I am very sorry for everything. I know tujhe bohot bura laga hoga na. Mujhe aisa nahi karna chahiye tha." Ananya was quite surprised as she never expected an apology from him. She came forward and wiped his tears and said, "Bhaiya aap mujhse maafi kyun maang rahe ho? Maafi to mujhe aapse maangni chahiye na? Aur job hi aapne kia na vo bilkul theek kia...shayad agar us din aap mujhe vahan chorkar na aate to main aapni zindagi ki sabse baari galti kar deti...aapne to meri maadad ki hai na...ta main kheti hun thanku bhaiya." Aniket smiled and said, "mera tareeka galat tha mujhe aise..." Ananya cut him in middle and said, "Aapka tareeka bilkul thik tha. Mujhe pata hai main bohot ziddi hun aur agar aap pyaar se bolte to shaayad main kabhi vahan jaane ko tayaar hi na hoti." Aniket cupped her face and asked, "Tu mujhse naraaz to nahi hai na?" Ananya nodded and said, "Nahi...apr iska matlab ye nahi hai ki main aapko aise hi chod dungi. Mujhe ek gift chahiye acha sa." Aniket smiled and said in a teasing voice, "Are main kyun dun gift? Apne pati se maang." Ananya moved away and said, "Pati aane ka matlab ye nahi ha ki main aapko chod dungi. Bhai ko to apna role nibhana hi parega." Aniket smiled and was about to say something when Ananyas phone rang. Aniket saw that in was Akash's phone so he deliberately came and sat on the bed. Now Ananya didn't want him to stay. She said, "Bhai aap yahan kab tak baithoge...main baat kar leti hun phir bula lungi aapko." Aniket smiled and said, "Are koi nahi tu karle baat main yahin thik hun." Saying this, he laid down on bed. Ananya gave him pleading looks and said, "Bhaiya please jao na." Aniket stood up and snatched the phone from Ananya's hand and picked up the phone. The convo -

Ak - Hello Ananya. Kaha ho itni der se?

An - (in a teasing voice) Are mere jijaji...thoda wait to karo...vaise kya jaadu kar dia meri behen par?

Ak - Oh hello bhaiya...vaise maine kya jaadu kia?

An - Are!! Meri behen phele aapse baat nahi karti thi aur aaj aapse baat karne ke lie hume apne kamre se nikal rahi hai.

Akash was quite embarrassed so he didn't reply. Meanwhile, Ananya came and took the phone from Aniket and said, "Haan bhaga rahi hun aapko...abhi niklo" saying this, she pushed Aniket out and locked the door from inside. She came back and laid down on the bed and started talking with Akash. the covo -

An - Hi!

Ak - Kya tha ye?

An - Ignore!! Tum batao?

Ak - ( fake anger) Kya batoun? Tum to chod kar chali gayi mujhe.

An - Are abhi to 24 hours bhi nahi hue...abhi se miss karne lage?

Ak - Hmm...ab bas aa jao...tumhare bina to neend bhi nahi aayegi mujhe.

An - Aww! How sweet...vaise ek baat hai..

Ak - Kya?

An - Tumhe larkiyon ko khush karna na bohot che se aata hai...koi coaching centre khol lo SIKHE LARKIYON KO KHUSH KARNA...KEWAL 1500 RUPYE MAIN'

Ak - (laughing) Are itni badi cheez sikhaane ke lie sirf itne se paise...larkiyon ko khush karne mein log puri lfe laga dete hain aur main sirf 1500 main sikha dun? Kam se kam 1 se 1.5 lakhs to milne chahiye vo bhi per week.

An - Yeah right! Maarlo maarlo hume taunt...vaise na sach bolun to main bhi tumhe miss kar rahi hun.

Ak - (in a delighted voice) Lene aajauon?

An - Koi zarurat nahi hai...tni bhi yaad nahi aa rahi.

Ak - Hmm tumhe kyun aaegi yaad. Hum hi to hai jo tadap rahe hain.

An - Ya right! Tadap!!!

Ak - Acha vaise mujhe mera haq to milna chahiye.

An - Haq?

Ak - Meri gud night kiss.

An - (blushed) Nahi dia to?

Ak - To abhi ghar aakar bolunga ki maa ko kuch kaam hai isiliye tumhe ghar lekar jaana hai.

An - Tum na...

Ak - Kutte ho...hai na? Mujhe pata hai...ab kiss do

Ananya nodded her head in disappointment and kissed the phone.

Ak - Chalo ab aayegi mujhe ache se neend . He too kissed the phone.

Ananya blushed and ended the call with a smile. Akash too smiled and slept. Ananya said to herself, "Bus Akash ab do din aur...phir tumhe tumhare saare haq mil jayenge.." She smiled and slept.

CHAPTER 10

After two days it was Akash's birthday. Ananya had planned not to call him and act as if she had forgotten his birthday. Whole night Akash waited for her call. Next morning he woke up, took a bath and came down for breakfast. Natasha and Prashant wished him and Natasha asked, "Kya baat hai beta, subh se tera mood off hai?" Akash replied, "Ananya bhul gayi mera birthday." Natasha and Prashant looked at each other and winked. Actually, they both knew about Ananya's plan. Natasha said, "Ye to bohot galat baat hai uski...haina Prashant?" Prashant too nodded his head and said, "Aur nahi to kya? Pati patni ka birthday bhul gaye ye to common hai par pheli baar suna hai patni pati ka birthday bhul gayi." Both laughed at this. Akash gave a fed up look and said, "Aap dono ka ho gaya ho to main jaa raha hun..." Saying this, he left and Natasha and Prashant burst into laughter.

Akash went to office and was still waiting for Ananya's call when Shreya came in and asked, "Kya baat hai? Phone nahi aaya kya abhi tak?" Akash gave her a confused look. Shreya came forward and sat in front of him and said, "Ab ye mat khena ki tumhe kaise pata chala? Kya hai na main aapko bohot ache se jaanti hun. Aur is time aapki shakal par likha hai ki aap uski call ka wait kar rahi ho." Akash smiled and said, "Hmm! Ye to sach hai...vaise na ab maine use baat nahi karni hai." Shreya said, "Vaise mujhe lagta hai ki vo aapko sirf pareshaan kar rahi hai." Akash said, "Pata hai mujhe." Shreya asked, "Matlab" Akash smiled and walked towards the window and continued, "Kya hai na uska plan acha tha par usne ek galti kar di. Maa papa ko bata dia. Unki shakal dekhkar hi main sab samajh gaya. Bus ab main use surprise dene wala hun." Shreya walked towards him and asked, "Matlab kaise?" Akash told her his plan and in the end Shreya said, "Thoda zyaada nahi ho jayega?" Akash said, "Haan par koi baat nahi...maza bohott aayega." Both gave each other a cruel smile.

In the evening Ananya came back home and was surprised to see that Akash hasn't came back. She waited for a few minutes and then decided to call him. The convo -

An - Hello Akash! kaha ho?

Ak - (in a drunk tone) Tumse matlab?

An - (shocked) Akash tumne pee rakhi hai?

Ak - Tum hoti kaun ho puchne waali? Main jo chahun karun.

Suddenly Ananya heard the sound of a girl.

An - Ye larki kaun hai tumhare saath?

Ak - Koi nahi... ab tum phone rakho.

Saying this he disconnected the call. Ananya broke into tears. Natasha came and asked, "Kya baat hai beta?" Ananya told her the whole thing and everybody was shocked. Akash then winked at Shreya and said, "Ab tumhari baari.." Shreya smiled and called Ananya. The convo -

S - Hello Ananya! Mujhe pata hai tum kyun ro rahi ho. Mujhe Akash ki location pata chal gayi hai.

A - Really! Kaha hai vo?

S - Hotel Nightingale. Room N. 1257. Jaldi aao...aur suno akele aana.

A - Kyun?

S - Are pata nahi na vahan kya hoga? Aunty uncle wahan aayenge to...you know.

A - Acha thik hai!

She disconnected the call and ran out of the house after informing everyone.

Ananya reached the hotel and ran to his room. There she saw Shreya. She went upto her and asked, "Kaha hai vo?" Shreya said, "Ananya ro mat na." Ananya shouted, "Ro nahi to kya karun? How can he do such a thing. Main uski kitni respect karti thi." Shreya controlled her laughter and said, "Vo us room mein hai tum jao...main nahi jaungi." Ananya asked, "Kyun?" Shreya said, "Nhai Ananya ye tumhara matter hai." Ananya was about to say something but Shreya left.

With heavy steps, she moved towards the room. Slowly she knocked at the door and found that it was open. She entered inside. It was totally dark inside. Akash slowly came from her behind and closed the door. Ananya turns at the sound of door. She was shocked to see Akash. he came towards her and held her shoulders. She asked, "Tum ye kya kar rahe ho?" Akash said, "Kyu tumhe kya laga? Sirf tum hi surprise de sakti ho?" Ananya looked at him with wide eyes. Akash then told her about the whole plan. Ananya smiled at her own stupidity. Before she could say something, Akash picked her up and took her to the bed and lay on top of her and kissed her. She said, "Kya iraada hai?" Akash replied, "Thik nahi hai." He was about to kiss her neck when Ananya's phone rang. Akash in a disturbed tone picked the phone from the table. He saw that it was Natasha. He looked at Ananya and said, "Ye apne pote potiyon ko paida nahi hone dengi." Ananya blushed. Akash picked up the phone. The convo -

N - Beta bol kya hua?

A - maa main hun...ananya mere saath hai.

N - Tu? Ananya to khe rahi thi kit u...

A - Vo actually main use pareshaan kar raha tha. Ab hum saath hai...koi problem nahi hai...bye.

N - Acha acha sorry to disturb you. Bye.

Akash disconnected the call and switched off her mobile. Slowly he kissed on her neck on removed her clothes. And finally after 1 long year, they consummated their marriage.

6 MONTHS LATER...

Akash woke up before Ananya. He looked at her and smiled. He then slowly kissed her and went to take a bath. He then came down to have breakfast. Natasha asked, "Ananya so rahi hai kya?" Akash replied, "Haan...maine socha uthaun but phir socha sone deta hun." Natasha said, "Haan beta sone de. Vaise bhi uthkar kaam karne lag jayegi. Kitni baar kaha hai use ki..." "Ki aisi haalat mein zyaada kaam karna thik nahi hai. 5mahine ki pregnant aurat hai par harkateen bachon jaisi hai...etc. etc. haina?" Ananya completed her sentence. Everybody smiled and Ananya sat down. Akash gave her the plate. After finishing the breakfast, Akash bid everybody a goodbye and then left for the office. Ananya too started doing some or the other work and Natasha started scolding her and this is how the whole day passed.

After Akash's birthday, both went for a honeymoon and after a month Ananya told Akash about her pregnancy. Akash was literally jumping like a child when he came to know about it. And from that day, he used to take a lot of care of Ananya.

In the evening, Akash came back home and announced, "Maine aaj bohot socha aur final kia hai ki meri beti ka naam Araina hoga. Ok?" Natasha asked, "Beta hua to?" Akash said, "Mujhe pata hai beti hi hogi. Dekh lena." Ananya said, "Acha! Itna confidence?" Akash came closer to her and said in low voice, "Gender to maine hi decide kai hai na? To mujhe pata hai." He winked and Ananya blushed.

After dinner, Ananya and Akash sat in the balcony looking at the sky. Ananya said, "Sorry Akash!" Akash asked, "Kyun?" Ananya looked at him and said, "For everything." Akash came forward and hugged her slightly. A drop of tear fell from his eye. Ananya wiped it and asked, "Kya hua?" Akash said, "Kuch nahi...vaise hi." Ananya looked at him for some time and said, "I Love You" Akash smiled and said, "I know." Ananya slapped on his chest and hugged him.

Both stood there for a long time, thinking about their journey.

EPILOGUE

It was raining and a man was driving like a mad on the road at night. He reached the hospital and stopped the car and ran towards the reception and asked, "Ananya Saluja?" The receptionist told him the room no and he ran towards it. Outside he saw Natasha, Prashant and Ananya's family. Natasha came to him and asked, "Akash...Kitni der laga di?" Akash replied, "Vo bearish ki vajha se. Ananya kaisi hai?" Natasha was about to say something when the nurse came out and said, "Congratulations! It's a girl!" Hearing this, Akash became so happy that he came and picked up the nurse and everybody laughed at his madness.

After some time, the nurse gave him the baby. Akash was really possessive for her and didn't let anybody take her. He kept on playing with her. When Ananya woke up, she asked for the baby. The nurse replied, "Ma'am baby to apne papa ke pass hai...vo to kisi ko use apni goad mein nahi lene de rahe. Sabko bola hai jisko bhi ise dekhna hai, aise hi dekh lo." Ananya burst into laughter and said, "Usko bolo ki atleast apni maa ko to dekhne de uski shakal." The nurse nodded and left.

Akash came inside and gave the baby to Ananya. Ananya kissed her and then asked Akash, "Maine suna ki bohot possessive ho iske lie?" Akash sat beside her and held the baby's hand and said, "Haan ! ab jo mera hai vo mera hai...main kisi aur ko kyun do?" Both burst into laughter and started playing with the baby.

Their journey didn't start very nicely. But in the end it was Akash's UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for Ananya that forced her to love him.
