Regarding Meany Bala no no no i dont believe he has the right to put the entire blame on his sons actions on an aunt who buys him gifts ..
where was this iyer father upbringing for the last 9 years.
Aunts/grandparents only role is to spoil ur child and actually its a good thing to feel a sense of belonging to someone else so later when they are scared to tell the parent something they can tell some other adult..feeling that close to someone else in US we strive for it...I just learnt a friends friends SIL's son committed suicide he was a loner and my friends friend is devastated and wishes she had been close to him..

Shravu stealing had nothing to do with II , it was a normal reaction Nandu has 4 Ipads , he is my friend i took one until now he didnt know he was not supposed to now he will know and learn.. at 9 there is a confusion but 11 they know each families dynamics.
Shravu will learn his boundaries..pavam suspension at 9 is more traumatic all because of Balas pride, like II said daato,take away electronics ..my kids every day tell me this kid went to principals office like that kid was put in jail imagine Shravus plight in school ,high schoolers wont care a 3rd grader good student , poor kid all because of some stupid IYER PRIDE.Kids dont have egos , dont believe in class differences and are innocent why spoil that ..

No Hershey/Swathi what Bala did was wrong ,he cant take his insecurities and put the blame on II and use rude words..

God!i was searching for putti's msg in the last 10 15 pages of previous thread as i just remembered about that one...though i found her post,didnt got that mentioned update.but i read my posts...how irritating those were..pls dont feel bad as i was almost sounded like to stop all discussions!!!i never thought like that.i was just saying to myself!!!sorry if i hurt anybody!!my sole intention was to get one update!not anything else!!i really love reading all these comments!! 😳

Bala feeling insecure is his problem Shev how can we justify someones temper as its right..temper ,lashing out is not justified ..
who gives any one the right to make II feel bad..nobody has that right neither her father,nor her husband nor her BIL who are these men who take her for granted in my point.

so ur son thinks his aunt can buy him things because thats what most kids say u as an iyer dad are getting insecure about that.. my kids will constantly say i will Ask mama for that or will ask thatha for that and honestly i feel good they feel that liberty.
Agreed steeling is bad and totally i would be devastated no doubt.. thats why i totally supported BAla i was so upset for him but then instead of trying to fix his problem he is taking it out on II
