Shravu took it because Nandu had 4 so from his point of view shravu didnt think of it as stealing..
i have a 9 year old they are really clueless specially the ones that live in animal land..
i am not saying what shravu did is right my point is he didnt realize its wrong and aunts are made to spoil neice and nephews through words and gifts.
My older nephew 10 years will refuse to leave my house , will hide his parents car keys will cry because he is very very attached to me i dont even spoil him but i just love him so if my brother told me dont see him because of u he stole i would be broken like big time broken

also IMO no aunt/no uncle/no grandparent/no teacher/no friend can be held responsible for your childs actions its ur responsibility and urs alone .. so according to me Mr Bala needs to thoda realize he took out all is lifes frustration on the easiest prey Shravu and II the rest he cant do a thing.
His brother,his parents , his wife toh he got his easiest scapegoat

P.S: this is what happens when you have husband giving u chai,daughter watching her 1 hour tv ,son in a science camp,MIL sleeping ,FIL reading .. you type away 😆😆😆

Go Swathi Go!!! 😆 I gave up since the consensus was in favor of II not being in the wrong. I wish someone calmly lays down facts for her. But II itni ziddi hai ki that person will end up looking like the wrong one as well... I guess I had very strict parents n I like that kind of desciplining for kids.

Bala heard what Shravu said. Vandu heard what shravu said. II has been pestering Vandu to convince to send Nandu n shravu together. She calls sweetly - Yes! She asks if she can ask about - yes she asks! She is stopped before she can complete coz Bala knows her since last 12-13yrs and her nature! He lays it down straight that if its abt getting Shravu anything then its a no! She then argues She doesnt buy him much?!?!? Is she hearing herself? Yes... She wants to bring the world to Shravu! But is it riht? Noone ever valued anything that was broght before asking as much as a thing that was earned with effort and with hard work! II in her love is forgetting that there is a reason rewards are handed at the end of a task n not before... So that people can learn the worth of earning it! In her love, she is forgetting to teach life lessons to Shravu.. That not getting everything is also important for existance..coz then we make it life's mission. Bala is trying to descipline and she is interfering whichever way I look at it! Asking nicely or throwing tantrums!

How is II interfering .. she has been buying him all along pehle boltha na .. so completely shutting down II is right saying he is mine and vandus is right, saying Shravu shouldnt now meet II is right because Shravu took an ipad .. he didnt think he was stealing he is a 9 year old ..

its not murder but making a baath ka bhathangad you can create one..
u should not be scared of ur dad to the point that u will hide things.. so instead of telling both II and Shravu what is wrong u give them a time out .. so now shravu will think its not his fault its all II's fault she got him stuff so he is spoilt .. poora Bala parivar perfect hai.. all II's fault ..
she should not get her nephew anything , she shouldnt spend on her dad , her mom,nobody cause she will spoil them..
i will tell it again my friend spoils my daughter to a crazy extent , we get mad but not one action of my daughter will i blame my friend

I never said Shravu's stealing is II's fault. But jab Bala and Vandu baar baar NO bol rahe hain n yet II goes to present her case that Shravu shouldnt be grounded, mujhe uss baat se problem hai. Am sure Bala must have asked Shravu ipad kaha se aaya.. Shravu ne bola hai I "took" it from school.. Bala aise hi wont slap Shravu am sure. Yes, he said stupid stuff abt sleeping with coworker, but you hear your child's mentality ki taking is fair if they want something. He was just giving an example ki kal ko aur badi galti karega n still wont realize or agree that its a mistake. Shravu said all that abt Chitthi getting stuff so bala ne pehle mana kiya II ko that dont buy stuff,for a salaried person to be compared with a wealthy businessman by his own son, however innocent that statement could be, is a big big thing. N Shravu thinks the way only coz now II is married in that family n she has always been the Santa for Shravu.
Ofcourse, Bala's frustration is coming from somewhere else n II just adding ghee to the fire with her well-meaning questions. Bala used that "dont meet shravu if u are buying him any gifts" as the threat only coz he knew thats the instant way to shut II up, II will do nothing that would break her ties with Shravu.
Ofcourse you dont blame your daughter's naughtiness to your friend. But I dont know if it happens that god forbid your daughter did such a serious thing, n your friend comes buying zoo or bouncerama tkts ki ab tkts khareed liya yoh bhej do bachche ko. Fir bachche ko timeout ka n apni galti ka matlab samjhega kya? I dunno.. Am not a parent... You are one.. Toh bolo ki how would you handle your friend's plea to send your daughter for a fun evening when you heard your daughter justify her such big wrong act saying your friend should have helped if the daughter is not supposed to take things from others... Ofcrs! Bala doesnt blame her... But bala doesnt want II to spoil Shravu with gifts for the time being... So that this incident has a well meaning impac on shravu. I dont think Bala really was pinning all this on II. He was just saying ki II should back off for just now. His chice of words were wrong but I feel it was just an empty threat.

Note: I am not supporting bala at all...I agree that his words were harsh...but sometimes when the other person doesn't understand the position u r in and tries to still do wat they want (II wanting to send him to summer camp) u just end up lashing out...thats wat happened here...
