Jenny,
Hope you had a wonderful vacation and all is well with you. Welcome back with a stupendous chapter. 👏

Talk about a love letter. I am speechless and if I am feeling all wobbly in my knees I can imagine what Arnav must have felt. He fell in love all over again!! WOW.
There is nothing to stop him from getting his Khushi back with him and he will never ever let her out of his sight. 😉
While Arnav stewed in and brewed anger, Khushi was busy with some drastic decisions.
Love or hate, they are in each others thoughts all the time and the tides are turning to bring them closer.

Poem from Arnav to Khushi...
By E. E. Cummings

I carry your heart with me, I carry it in my heart
I am never without it anywhere I go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling.
I fear no fate for you are my fate, my sweet
I want no world for beautiful you are my world, my true
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you.

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows,
here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart.

I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart.

Looking forward to their new journey.

Again, well done Jenny.👏

Hey jenny I must say u r awesome writer and we r really fortunate to be part of your wonderful piece of work, u wrote this upd amazingly, I really loved it, it was so intense yet so hearttouching, khushi's mails omg what to say abt it, I really felt to cry reading her love her pain, I felt bad the way she only fought for her love and tried hard to make understand to her parents, arnav never replied but in each mail she poured her heart out, she put her soul into those mails where she confessed her love for him, shared her fear her insecurity and guilt, I thought to give tight hug to khushi and of course to you too for writing such a wonderfully,
On the other hand arnav's remorse his guilt, u penned down superbly, he was being stubborn but I loved how khushi's love melted his heart and he started his journey to meet his destination, to find khushi,

I know it wont be easy this time bcz khushi lost hope in him and in their love where she tried to close their chapter, but I m sure arnav will again win her back

In this upd I felt sujata and arnav's meeting hopeful where she didn't taunt him and asked abt khushi I m sure in one corner of her heart she wants to see khushi happy

Anita is simply superb protecting her sister I m sure arnav have to win back both gupta girl's trust

Can't wait for next part, u rock, kudos to u for such a amazing story jenny

No no, please don't say that.. If anything, Saffron Fields has changed lot of my perspectives on life in a positive way and I'm forever grateful for you for that!! Jen, no other story has made me thoughtful, question my own beliefs/ethics and invest in it the way SF has done it; and this was only possible because of the writer in you, kudos to you❤️

One other thing too is that I'm much older than what Khushi is in the story and so it's easier for me to point out but Khushi in her situation, a girl who has always been in the protective folds of her parents, tried to salvage the situation to the best of her abilities & it did not work out the way she intended.. And it is very well possible that she was frustrated at life in general which may account for her decisions..

I'm not at all disappointed as I know you will close all the loops in the end, so it might be premature on my part to raise these questions and jump the gun; And also the essence of any story is to keep that mystery quotient until the end, so please do not doubt your own abilities even for a second..

To re-iterate again Jen, SF is precious and it will remain so for me forever..The proof: my twitter profile pic and what I said about it if you remember :)

Love and hugs
Kavi

And I'm truly grateful for all your interest and investment in SF, thanks for your kind words🤗 And yes, your beautiful Twitter handle, how can I forget that? That was so sweet...I'll try to remember that whenever you're mad at Khushi :P (Though I hope I don't give you any more reasons to be displeased with her :)

Love and hugs to you too ❤️

I am totally away from IF these days but came back over the last few days and caught up with SF.
I don't need to tell you what an amazing writer you are. You already know that.
But I did glance at a few comments (not many), and I got the impression that Khushi's mom is very hated. It might be just the few comments I read, but I really felt like I have to stand up for her!!!😛
I can't sit back and watch as people point fingers at the woman who raised Khushi to be what she is today.

Here's how I see it:

Sujata is a mom, who loves her daughter like every mom does. She does not want her daughter to get hurt. And she looks at the world through the tinted glasses of her upbringing, where affairs with married men is a taboo... even a relationship with a divorced man is not highly acceptable. We can't blame her for her sentiments.

To her, Arnav is a married man, who enticed her daughter to have an affair with him while still married.
And to add insult to Injury, she finds out that his ex-wife blames her daughter for their marriage breaking up.
And she also finds out that this previous marriage had happened as a result of an out-of-wedlock pregnancy.
Now, without knowing anything about Lavanya, without knowing the lie that was the foundation of their marriage, how can we expect Sujata to be in love with Arnav?

I think any mom in her place (even an american mom) would feel the same way about him.

Khushi is expecting her mom to understand, but she hasn't told her anything to help her understand. I realize that the truth about Lavanya is not her secret to tell, but at this point, Arnav should have come and told Khushi's parents about that. Without all that being revealed, I certainly don't expect Khushi's parents to be accepting of Arnav. And the fact that he is officially dovirced still doesn't change their opinion of him.

They see that she is unhappy without him, but how can they knowingly approve of a man who got a girl pregnant, married her, then divorced her after their son died... while having an affair with another girl before the divorce was even final.

For all they know, he probably enticed her to move out of the house while ehr dad is sick. They are not even aware that Khushi broke up with him.

We have to remember that even Arnav's mom didn't wholeheartedly approve of his divorce, or his relationship with Khushi, until she found out about the lie. So if his own mom can feel that way, why is it bad that Khushi's parents feel like that.

OK... so the point of my rant was to tell you that you have built Khushi's parents' characters exactly like a real life couple facing such a situation... you did an excellent job with them.

Khushi too is totally in character with what a loving , responsible daughter would be. she wants to start her relationship on a good note. not start one relationship, while turning another one bitter.
And she was trying her best to get them to accept Arnav, but her situation is like a blind man with his hands tied back , trying to do a crossword puzzle.
Not only is she not at liberty to tell the truth about Arnav, and how he is really a good guy... she has the added shadow of Lavanya and Manya's stunts, and now her Dad's ill health... What is a girl to do??

and instead of being understanding and supportive, Arnav was being like a petulant child who wants his candy, and wants it NOW.

So if anyone, I think Arnav is to blame. He should at least try to tell her parents the truth about the marriage... enough people know already, what is two more?
He should have been supportive of Khushi when she needed time. not put her through his mood swings and ignoring her royally.
Now he deserves the turmoil and anguish he is going through. Hopefully he has learnt his lesson and is on the path to becoming a good partner for Khushi.

Can't believe I wrote so much in support of fictional characters😆

But I really love how you make all your characters so believable.

Love this story and looking forward to a positive turn of events soon!

Geeta, so good to see you back on IF🤗 In fact, I was thinking of you a few days back:) Will PM you.
