The Azaan faded away as Nusrat Rabab, offered her prayers and reciting the last Shukrana Dua got up.. Her head still covered with the Hijab, She folded the Dari beneath her on which she used to sit and offer her prayers. "Syra? Aree Syra Bitiya?" She called her daughter. "Jee Amma?" A Beautiful Brown eyed girl peeped in from the door. "Saari taiyaarian ho gyi na? Zain Eid ki namaaz adaa kar Masjid se aata hi hoga." Nusrat asked. "Jee! Aap bilqul fikr na karein. Sab kuch taiyaar hai. Aapke laadle ke aane ki derr hai. Sabkuch ussi ki pasand ka toh banna hai..!!" Syra replied. Nusrat smiled at her daughter's complaint. "Maa banne wali hai par Bachpana nhi gya abhi tak!" She gently caressed her forehead. "Aisa kuch bhi nhi. Tumhari pasand ka bhi toh

banna hai na? Mujhe batayein? Kuch aur khaane ka mann hai? Main banwa deti hunn." Nusrat replied. "Amma." Syra held her both hands lovingly. "Rehne Dein! Main toh bas mazaak kar rhi thi.." She smiled. "Tum dono meri Zindagi ho. Meri aankhon ke taare.." Nusrat replied fondly. "Pata Hai." Syra kissed her mother's hands. "Accha yeh Ullu kahaan reh gya. Namaaz khatam huye toh kaafi waqt ho gya hai." She added. "Aata Hoga! Aaj Eid hai. Sabse milna-julna toh lagaa rahega." Nusrat replied. Meanwhile; Ganguly House.. "Adhira? Adhira? Kothay Tuyi?" Geetanjali called her daughter. "Aaschi Maa." Adhira replied, After keeping her clothes in the wooden Almirah.. She walked out into the courtyard to tend to her mother. "Jee?" She asked once she saw her mother. "Tumhare Baba kahaan hai?" Geetanjali asked her, spreading clothes on the washing line. "Baba woh paas ki Mithaai ki dukaan tak gye hain. Misthti lene." Adhira replied. "Chalo accha hai. Unhe yaad toh hain na?" Geetanjali asked. "Haan Maa."

Adhira replied. "Tabhi toh woh mithaai lene gayein hain na?" She added. "Haan. Aise kissi ke ghar khaali haath jaana accha nhi lagta woh bhi Tyohaar ke din." Geetanjali spoke, as she squeezed the water out of the Washed Clothes. "Maa? Aap bhi na? Hum log kitne saalon se Nusrat Chachi aur Syra Baji ke ghar jaate rahe hain. Unhone kabhi kuch kaha hai kya?" Adhira spoke, helping her mother. "Pata hai Beta. Woh humare bohot puraane padosi aur Tumhare aur Zain ke Abba ki bohot acchi dosti thi. Par yunn khali haath jaana accha nhi lagta." Geetanjali reasoned. Adhira nodded,understanding. Just then Ashim Ganguly walked in, Holding sweets in his both hands. "Lo Bhai le aaya Mithaai." He spoke as he took off his slippers. "Baba?" Adhira left her work and ran towards him. "Aap mere liye Roshogulla laaye ki nhi?" She asked him, getting excited lyk a child. "Laaya hunn Baba. Meri Beti koi farmaaish karegi aur uske Baba poora na kare aisa ho sakta hai kya?" Ashim replied, patting her cheek lovingly. Adhira beamed happily.

"Yeh Lo." He handed her an earthen pot full of The Bengali Delicacy and the rest of the sweet boxes. "Baba! Aap Duniya ke sabse acche Baba ho." Adhira exclaimed and giving Ashim a light hug ran to the kitchen. "Saara akele mat khaa jaana. Dada ko bhi puch lena." Geetanjali called after her daughter. "Theek Aache." She replied back. "Humare ghar ki Ronak hai Adhira." Ashim spoke as he washed his dust laden feet in the Courtyard. "Woh toh hai. Jiss ghar bhi jayegi.. Uss ghar ko roshan kar degi.." Geetanjali spoke fondly. "Ab Chalein? Derr ho rhi hain. Bhabhi raah dekh rahi hongi.." Ashim spoke. "Jee. Main Adhira se keh deti hunn. Taiyaar ho jayegi.." Geetanjali spoke and went inside to inform her daughter. Meanwhile; Khan House.. Zain entered The House happily. He took off his Kolhapuris in a Corner and washed his feet beneath the tap in the Courtyard. "Asalaam Walaikum Amma. Eid Mubarak." Zain wished his mother, hugging her tight. "Walaikum Asalaam. Jeete Raho! Khush Raho! Eid Mubarak."

Nusrat blessed him lovingly, giving him a peck on the forehead.. The Era Of 1940's had Pure and Simple People.. Two Neighbours Used To Live Like Families.. Celebrating Their Festivals With Each Other.. Sharing Happiness and Love Together.. Nusrat was now sitting in the Courtyard of their Big Spacious Ancestral House.. "Aaj derr ho gyi?" Nusrat asked her son. "Haan Amma. Aap toh jaanti hain, Namaaz ke baad kitne logon se milna julna hota hai.. Mubarakbaad deni hoti hai.. Aur Bacchon ko Eidi bhi." Zain smiled as he unbottoned his Black Bandhgala Achkan.. "Haan. Maine Syra se pehle hi kaha tha. Woh hi puch rhi thi." Nusrat spoke. "Kaun Billi?" Zain Chuckled as he removed his Achkan. "Zain?" Nusrat spoke. "Amma? Aap jaanti hain jab tak main usse iss naam se nhi bulata usse chaain nhi padta." Zain chuckled as he folded the Sleeves of Pristine White Kurta. "Rehne Dein Amma. Isse koi fark nhi padta. Naa Dua-Salaam, Naa Mubarakbaad. Aate hi shuru ho gya! Ullu kahin ka!" Syra spoke grumpily as she sat down..

"Ohooo! Gustaakhi Maaf! Asalaam Walaikum Bibi. Eid Mubarak." Zain wished her laughing. "Walaikum Asalaam. Eid Mubarak." Syra wished him back smiling. "Amma? Yeh kya ho gya hai isse? Kitni Moti hoti jaa rhi hai..!!" Zain spoke, Amused. "Chhup Kar Besharam! Jab dekho tokkta rehta hai. Amma dekhein na!!???!" Syra whined, smacking Zain on his forehead. Nusrat and Zain laughed heartily. "Aap isko daantne ke bajae ulta hass rahi hain? Jayein main kissi se nhi bolungi." Syra complained all grumpy and walked away haughtily. "Aree Syra? Syra?" Zain ran after her, still laughing. "Dhyaan Se. Giraa mat dena usse." Nusrat cautioned her son.. Still smiling at the cuteness of the Brother-Sister Duo. "Aaj bhi dono ka Bachpana wahi ka wahi.." She thought smiling, fanning herself with the handfan. Syra had got married just a year back and was expecting her first child, Being in the 6th month of her Pregnancy.. Special Cautiousness had to be taken.. And Zain was The Most Caring Brother for Syra, From Her Diet To Medicines..
