Part 64


Destiny.
Name it destiny or their fate, it always loved to play with their emotions and relations. Now as Arjun and Yagya thought everything was alright in their life and love, they found the entry of a person, whom Yagya loathed and Arjun always competed.
The mere sight of Karan was enough to make Yagya remember the shameful incident of Dyut Sabha. Her eyes blazed with fiery tears and her body shook with fury scaling new heights. It didn't take long for Arjun to realize what Yagya was going through, because it was no different from as he was in.
He snaked his muscular arm on her shoulder, assuring her that this time she was not along because he was with her this time. Yagya held the arm around her shoulder in a tight grip, silently expressing to him that she is fine. Her fiery gaze clashed with his loving gaze and their eyes got locked in a eye-lock of care and love.
" You don't know how happy we are to see you back, Karan!" said Pritha, happily while hugging both Karan and Vrushali together.
" Arjun? Yagya?" said Yudhishtir, as he noticed Arjun holding a trembling Yagya.
As they heard Yudhishtir;s voice, their eye-lock broke and they looked away from each other. They walked in to the house, hand in hand, with assurance that they will be each other when ever they will need each other.
The whole family knew about Yagya and Arjun's relationship courtesy Kanha and Subhi. And they were fine with the relation, as they all knew that Yagya was a perfect choice for Arjun. They were a match made in heaven, truly.
" Arre Arjun, Yagya see who is here. My eldest son whom I thought, I had lost is back to his mother." said Pritha chirpily in ecstasy that her eldest son was back, unaware that Arjun and Yagya were put into to deep thought; whether to trust Karan or not.

Madhav's Room,
" What do we do, Madhav? Karan is here from no where, and we don't know if we can trust him or not." said Arjun, thoughtfully.
Yagya nodded her head in agreement expressing that it was the same question which haunted her thoughts too.
" You need to trust even to distrust, Arjun." said Kanha as calm as ever. He knew what the future beheld for both of them but he chose to act oblivious to the future, at least in front of Arjun and Yagya.
" I guess we are scared to trust him, Govind. I mean we don't know if he is here for the sake of good or for the friend, who only knows how to play with people." said Yagya, placing her concerns in front of Govind.
"I agree with Yagya, Madhav. I clearly remember Duryodhan and Jay, threatening me that they will humiliate us in front of all and make Yagya too bend in front of them, when we fought after I came to know that Jay spiked Yagya's drink." said Arjun, reminiscing the situation which he thought laid foundation to the current one.
" While it could be a plan, it could also be your destiny, Arjun and Yagya. Remember, you can never run away from your destiny. And if the same destiny wants you and Karan on the opposite sides again, then so be it. But what if, Karan is here for good. You can't hurt him in that case right?" said Kanha, hinting that the situation was double edged sword.
" Again you showed us that there is no one as clever as you are, Govind. I guess we should do what you are saying. But we should also be alert of what he does." said Yagya, thoughtfully.
"Certainly." remarked Kanha.
" By the way, how are the preparations of Raksha Bandhan going on? There are only two more days left for it." said Arjun, trying to light up the situation.
Yagya and Kanha exchanged love filled looks to each other as the flashes on how Raksha Bandhan began, struck them. It was through them that the ritual started and now they were celebrating it again.
" Everything will be perfect this time and yet again this will lead to things which will change the hearts of many." said Kanha, giving assuring looks to Yagya, with a charming smile.
The relation of Yagya and Kanha was something which mere words can't define nor can actions recreate. It was something too divine and beyond the understanding of mere mortals.
