Apathy, ego, lack of self confidence, all conspire in allowing us to lose touch with people we have cared about. Sometimes it's just a case of you, or them, growing in a different direction, making a former common interest void.

But reaching out can resurrect sweet memories of the past.

Thank you for this warm reflective story :)

I thought there would 2 or more chapters... Sigh!

Anyways I loved the ending, a perfect one. Glad that they made up their minds and talked it out. They'll come around.. Haha

I'm a little sad that this story ended... But, it will remain closer to my heart, one of the best Summer's story I've read. It was totally beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

thanks. glad the sisters kind of made up and the summer turned out to be the turning point for Khushi who made new friends, best of all a boyfriend, discovered an interest in other fields and turned out to be a better human being.

you are right, never lose an opportunity to reach out, especially an old friend, thanks to you i just did. feeling so good.
